Love the Ishra collage and agree with what you said. Yes Puttar has been hiding things, making mistakes galore, but I wouldn't for a second doubt his love for biwi or biwi's love for him. Yes, he has said hurtful things to biwi and tomorrow, biwi will say hurtful things to him. Whether they are justified or not, hurtful words from your partner wound deeply. So yes, they will be in pain, Ishita will leave with Ruhi and it will be a bumpy road for a while, but yeh hai mohabbatein after all, and so ultimately, the love will triumph.

I haven't been on the rest of the forum today, so am a much happier soul. 😃

Off to update my FF now.

V, sorry to but in. i could understand Shagun until a point today. What set me off though was her smirk. And I soo wish i had not gone o the main forum. :(.

Beautiful episode! ala YHM style. Beautiful collages too Gan-I can see each of us connecting with the episode at some level or other.

You all have said very eloquently what needed to be said.

Everyone was perfect with their timing and emotions supporting DT ably-the episode belonged to her undoubtedly!👏

Maybe this is a first-but today my heart went out to Adi the most! Yes Ishita will lose the most if the swap happens-but she is an adult, who at some point will understand the circumstances all this happened-or not! Not that it will make it alright-nothing will, but she can and will learn to live with it-that might involve withdrawing into a shell and ignoring Raman...for a very very long time.

But Adi is a different story-that poor kid(praise the CVs for they have turned him around) still deeply loves his mother, will never accept his mother played dirty, will never fathom the nasty emotions behind the swap...might end up hating his father's side of the family again...he will be where he was a year back. And no child deserves to experience such confusion, hatred, helplessness, insecurity EVER.

So I really really hope CVS don't screw this up this time-for Adi's sake. Ruhi is a tough nut, she will be okay-its the fragile Adi that concerns me most. Fingers crossed!

Custody battles are always ugly, people do things they would otherwise never imagined because ego and pride are funny things, make you do stuff...but I believe if you are a parent at heart-you will/can never think beyond the child's welfare.

So Shaguniya your days with your(hah!!) kids are numbered.

PS: ppl on the forum playing the Ishita Vs Raman game: are losing the plot, ala CVs style😆

@Krishy: doood how the hell do you docs take these never ending hrs long exams???😕 Hope you get to catch some well deserved sleep tonight.

Divyanka, I don't know how to praise what she did tonight! She made me feel her pain as a mother and I'm not one. She gave me goosebumps. I'm just proud to be her fan.

Yes that's the unfortunate pride some women carry just because they can procreate ... But unfortunately don't realize motherhood is more than carrying a child for nine months... The real nurturing starts once they are out of the womb... But it's not possible for someone like Shagun to realize that.. If she could leave her 6 month old for the wish of the better life... She could never live upto someone like Ishita who lives breahes for her daughter Ruhi.

Agree about DT .. The scenes could have been another scream fest .. But she just was on dot today.. I'm a mother and she tugged at my heart with her portrayal

At the core, Adi is just like a mini-Puttar. He is a lost soul just trying to latch onto security and love. For so much of the show, he wore a mask that was encouraged by Ashok and Shagun, but that night he was found outside...the mask came off. In a moment of weakness, Adi revealed his vulnerability. Does that not sound like Puttar crying himself to sleep every night after Shagun left him or during Ruhi's custody case? Both of these Bhalla men love so deeply and profoundly that it becomes their weakness.

For Adi, his love for his mother keeps him from questioning her and has lead him to blur the lines between right & wrong.

For Puttar, his love for Adi pitted him against Ishita during the accident track and caused him to blur the lines between right & wrong. He had Ishita to build him after this, but it was until he himself sorted out what was right and wrong.

Similarly, that is what I see happening to Adi. Adi's vision of right and wrong are blurred right now and only he, himself, can see the right of way.

Another example of Puttar's blinding love and need to protect...his love (and some pride/frustration/etc) for Ishita kept him from telling her the truth about his employer & the custody agreement of 4 lakhs because the protector in him felt it better to reduce her tension. Alas, this time his need to protect has backfired on poor guy!

@ bold - I agree! While I would never want Ruhi to go with Shagun, I don't think she would ever fall into one of Shagun's brainwashing ploys because she has the sherni strength of Ishita & Toshiji instilled in her. However, Adi is currently confused and Shagun is still misconstruing information. Only time will tell if they decide to keep him a child or set him up as a future vamp.

Well said Kri! but I hold Shagun responsible for the way Adi turned out. If she were a good mother, heck if she even cared for Adi-as in what kind of a person he was growing up into-she would have instilled a sense of security and happiness-and then his strong sense of love would/could ahve become his strength and not weakness!

As for Raman- I cannot draw similar parallels coz we don't know how his childhood was and how he was raised. But if Romi and GKC rant are anything to go by, the great Toshiji must have had a big role to play in how Raman turned out. If I may take a big leap here, the only time Raman really feels confident and content is when he's taking care of his family-this gives his love and life a purpose. I think rest of the time he's filled with under confidence and self doubt. Same is true with Adi-he is the man in his mom's life- loving her gives his meaning. And there is Shagun's biggest flaw in raising him.

Oh Anu...as always, I love your write up! Everything made total sense and I loved the fact you highlighted Simmi & Bala's roles today! I too hope they get a chance to shine and grow in the show.

@bold - I agree! I love all the Ishita-Ruhi & Ishita-Raman-Ruhi scenes, but the ones that speak the most to me are the daddy-daughter scenes! Ruhi and Toshiji were the two people to totally and unconditionally love and actively support Raman during his darkest times, ignoring his mistakes and all. So for me, the relationship between Ruhi and Raman is incredibly sacred because of the unconditional and untainted love Ruhi pours onto Raman. She was the first one to start his healing process, when she proudly proclaimed her father was a buddhu because he didn't know who her favorite person was!

While this show may have been market on the love between Ishita & Ruhi, the love & distance between Ruhi and Raman were the catalyst for Ishita & Ruhi. ❤️ So I, too, hope the CVs will show the role both parents play in the upbringing of a child, and that a dad too can totally and unconditionally love and protect their children.

This track is much more than just Ishita-Raman & GKC...I would hope and think that it's about the kids - Ruhi & Adi. Whatever lens you examine this scenario through, the only ones who will suffer for the long haul are Ruhi & Adi. Ruhi has luckily been protected from a lot of the vileness, but what happens if she becomes exposed to it again like during the girl child track? Adi, on the other hand, has been in the crossfires of this ugly divorce for more than half of his life. How can he come to terms with everything?

Also - in terms of dealing with the feels from this episode...I hear ya', sista'! 🤗

After putting it off all this while, I managed to watch the episode backed by a full box of kleenex. Hats off to the actors and each and every person involved in today's episode.. Gripping story line and it was enhanced by the actors who excelled.. DT and KP rocked today.. DT as the hapless mom, ready to lay her life down to protect her child. The whole episode must have taken a toll on her.. it was so highly emotional and she nailed it. And KP as the helpless dad and husband who still cant wrap his head around the fact that he let his guard down against Shagun, who is in pain and also hurting even more seeing those he loves in pain, but still unable to do anything.. thats a hard place for anyone to be in. And yes, AH also did a better job.. but I am not a big fan of the character so thats all I can come up with..

Shagun, after all the numerous plotting and villainy at last seems to have come up with a master stroke. I couldn't empathize with her, cos she is playing dirty. Still plays the victim but doesn't realize how many she has victimized.

All I can think of is a well know Sanskrit saying.. "vinashakaale, vipreetha buddhi" meaning when the end or downfall is near one gets more delusional and acts in a way that is harmful to oneself..

Adi is turning around and i hope that Shagun doesn't thwart the change for the better. Kids caught in between messy divorce settlements pay the most price.. its truly sad that innocent kids are made pawns in the adults' battle for supremacy..and my heart went out to Ruhi who is unaware of the tensions and Adi who is aware of the tensions but has no clue how to stop the slide.

I, once again, go back to my prayers.. to get Shagun out, this time for good, because mothers like Shagun (who cannot be called a mother in the true sense) dont deserve anything good and should get their comeuppance at the earliest. .. and to end this custody battle.

I end with an ode to mothers..

Unless you are a mother and in a position of losing your child you will not realise the agony and total breakdown of Ishita. Yesterday's episode was vintage YHM. Though heart wrenching it was beautiful n focused on relationships.
