Becky well said but I guess I would differ with you a bit. I don't think you have to be a mother to understand the emotions that Ishita went through. You just need to know what love and attachment mean. You need to understand relationships-their worth! Like Gan says, you don't have to give birth to become a mother. Ishita's love and attachment for Ruhi is so strong, I couldn't have imagined her reacting any other way. These two share a beautiful beautiful relationship.

I agree. But here Ishita's identity is through Ruhi and being her mother ! She was first Ruhi's mother then she became Raman's wife much much later. Hence I said, mothers' love and the thought of losing that is absolutely unacceptable to Ishita. Ruhi defines who Ishita is not Raman. At least that is my view.

@bold: I still dont understand why everything boils down to either Ishita vs raman battle that at times I wonder, if they have really caught on to the essence of the story as a whole. 😕 'cos YHM is not just about Raman and Ishita. today was a busy day for me so didn't step outside this thread to read anything.. and now i wont either.. thanks for the heads-up..😉I am already hurting thanks to the episode, and I dont want to add on to the misery ... 😊

frankly speaking so i hav no words for todays episode. first of all i really guv a lot of appreciations to DT& KP again. ya its tru that evrytime they didnt left any stone unnurtured nd alwaysgiv their best. divz acted wondrfully she beautifully showed the state of helpless mom nd kp wondrfully showed the plight of helpless dad who hav evrything of luxury but still he is unable to giv anything to his children.
it is vry difficult for a parent to chose his anyonee child and in such state whn he knew that their othr child future is in dark
bt i agreed with shagun today. we know that she is a heartless nd a selfish woman bt ths step of shagun was to save her son. bhallas cant denied ths fact that she pampered nd cared aadi upto 12 yrs so somehow she was rite as they hav no rite to snatch her son. according to me she acted as a protected mothr more then a selfish woman
now back to ishra... many ppls r saying that ruhi is more imp for ishu then raman bt i dont think so.. for evry mothr her child comes frst nd same with her so i dont think so thhat the post or commment makrs r rite if really raman nvr mattrs in hr lyf so she wll nvr stopped him from going to singapur. for evry woman hr husband nd hr kids r always imp for her so plz guys stop blaming ishu.
ovrall i liked yestrday episode nd looking forward for today epi. emotional ru nd papa nd ya the bedroom scene. let c how raman handled the madraasi bomb. i hope cvs didnt ruin ths scene bcz i seriously wanted an emotional hug of ishra nd ishra consolling talk. let c wat we hav for today...

Word Becky! Couldn't have agreed more with you. So I am not sure what the bone of contention is in the Ishita Vs Raman threads(I read maybe I post, rolled my eyes and promptly closed the thread & came back here:)-but if ppl are claiming anything other than what you just said, then like I was saying-they have lost the plot completely.

Maaloo - that's a smart decision! I'm an idiot who ventured into the larger forum after an already ehh day, and let's just say...I've had a Hershey's bar, a small bag of chips (which I haven't eaten for about 2 years now), and a glass of wine...🤢

This couple make mistakes & say things in anger they may not mean. They will have serious fights and challenges to get over, but isn't that marriage? I'm not married, but I've seen my parents grow as a couple who had an arranged married. They had fights, but they also learned when and how to move on.

Ishita vs. Raman is silly because this show is also largely their love story, and life is not black vs. white. These two err, only to come back to each other.

Also about Ishita loving Ruhi more...how can we fault her for that? We can fault Raman for hiding facts from his wife, but we can't fault him for trying to get his son back in a manner that would keep the child from having to experience the nasty court system again. Both Raman and Ishita love their children deeply, and if this scenario had Ishita at fault, we could not blame Raman for reacting similarly.

You can't ask someone to choose between their duty of being a parent and a spouse. All the roles we hold in life require a balancing act because life is many shades of grey and not clear cut black & white/right & wrong.

Gan, as ALWAYS beautiful collages and write-up. I haven't watched the episode (in fact haven't been for the last 2 weeks) but have been reading up on ur threads. Ur collages and all the views over here show what an impactful episode it must have been. I just wanted to share my opinion, based on the reviews here, even before watching the episode.

The above quote is to put in perspective Ishita Vs Shagun.

Catch up later, after watching the episode.

So I have a kostin: more like a random thought I guess.

So many think Shagun did what she did for Adi and his custody-so Raman and fam don't take him away from her.

So is she fighting for him coz she loves him or she doesn't want to lose her leverage for future or for plain old revenge. Has she ever shown her love for him(except during accident track)? I always got the feeling that she tolerated him and Raman saw through this. Hence he wanted Adi's custody.

So what should a parent in Raman's place do? Fight your ex for Adi's custody so he could get the love and security he deserves. But how do you deal with the situation in hand if your ex is like Shagun. How do you ensure your child's future?

I don't know if there a right or easy solution here-except maybe don't have children with spouses who are plain evil-& don't be blindsided by them in custody battles!!

So 1st, Raman was blindsided, stupid, and made to look like a fool all thanks to his desire to keep the custody battle out of the court & his belief she valued money more than anything (b/c that is why she left him). #short-sightedness

But bc today's episode & conversations have been sooo serious & senti. The solution to the Shagun problem (and to secure Adi's future), Raman needs to find her a new bank account & body to boss around so she can go back to 24x7 spas & kitty parties!

Because...

...but she clearly needs some money and man to keep herself preoccupied from schemin' like a villian!
