Ishita has had it tough and while everyone realized her pain as that of not being able to conceive, none actually realized the depth of her pain of losing the one person she loved ... the person she had built her dreams with. While her sister tries to protect her by trying to avoid any occasion that these two meet (in the show), it still does not reflect that anyone heard the extent of Ishita's pain.
Ishita's recollection of her time with the one she loved the most in her life, the one person whom she trusted and believed in ... his betrayal, his cowardliness, and his selfishness left her scarred for life. She seems to have a whiff of disbelief in the words that she says ... as if part of a long nightmare which one believes might end if one could just wake up. She hides this well but no one understands that a part of her is frozen which still hurts her with its numbness. I loved how she spoke to Raman as if in a trance and spoke about the part of her life that everyone else thinks is healed or forgotten ... this part was written beautifully Bhanu 👏. Each word showed her raw pain and her lost dreams of a life that had been perfect.
Raman's introspection ... well he needs to understand his feelings. I am glad you showed him realizing that while she has gone beyond "Ruhi ke liye" many times during their marriage, he is still to do the same.
It irks me to no end that in the show its the same. Ishita has more than fulfilled her part of being a wife, an equal partner in a marriage but I have rarely seen Raman do the same except for the Parmeet track where he brought out the truth. Usmein bhi ussnay hero banna tha. Nowhere did we see Ishita's trauma or his trying to understand that she is fine after such an ordeal.
Subbu is so needed back in this show. Ishita is shown almost unaffected or mahaan (not sure which one it is anymore) with her past. Why can't they show a track where Raman tries to understand her past and her pains. Why is it always his ex wife, his children, his sister, his business nemesis, his tears *ugghh*. CV's need to balance things -- Ishita's character is equally important as Raman's ... she is not a supporting character here.
Loved the update Bhanu ... hope everything is well at home now. Looking forward to the next update soon.
