Ruchi Gujjar on physical brawl with So Long Valley director Man Singh; says, 'He abused my mom, threatened me'

The premiere of So Long Valley was a complete chaos as Ruchi Gujjar slapped director Man Singh, and even threw water on his face. She had come with some protestors who held blackened posters of the film. Ruchi Gujjar has alleged that she was duped of Rs 23 lakh by Karan Singh who said she would get co-producer credits and share in profits. The lady said that the Court had summoned the two for questioning, but they avoided the same. The video has gone viral on social media platforms and YouTube. We spoke to Ruchi Gujjar who slammed those saying this was a publicity stunt.

She said, “The case has been filed since a year and a half. The Court had summoned him but he did not respond. We know that courts take some time. In the meantime, they slyly decided to release the movie. Karan Singh Chauhan did this quietly in the past 10 to 15 days. I did not get time to respond legally.” Gujjar says the reason she went to the screening was to confront them as they avoid her. She said that she wanted to have a peaceful discussion but their attitude worsened matters.

In the viral video we can see that she slaps director Man Singh. Ruchi Gujjar said she did not know him personally but he came forward and started abusing her. “He abused me in filthy language. They even threatened me saying they know I live alone. I might be staying alone in Mumbai but I fear no one. I will not tolerate abuse. No woman should tolerate such abusive language from anyone,” she asserts. Ruchi Gujjar said she had asked for a permanent injunction till this investor issue was solved.

So Long Valley has Akanksha Puri, Tridha Choudhary and Vikram Kochhar in lead roles. The film has got decent reviews from those who watched it.
