Javeria3991: Yeah, I can twist Raman's character. Somehow, I feel that given the situation, Raman will act like this. Whether he accepts it or not, he is well beyond "Ruhi ke liye phase. I guess Mihir's character like Ishita has also not been explored. I have a feeling there is much more to Mihir's loyalty than it looks. Hopefully, they will also explore this at one point of time in YHM."

I agree that Subbu is needed to explore Ishita's character. The incidences and the respective circumstances in our life define us and Subbu had a huge presence in Ishita's past. Like you said, he is the other half of Ishita's story. And while, Raman's past has been acceptably explored in this show, Subbu screen time was probably not more than one episode or may be even less.
I was playing with this idea for a while now, but the miserable accident track acted as a catalyst for me to actually put the thoughts into writing.
I hope I am able to do some justice to what Ishita has gone through. Sometimes, people deal with emotional pain through denial. It does not mean its not there, they just learn it to keep it at bay. So I wanted to depict something on that terms for Ishita. Hopefully, I am able to do some justice to what I want to say. This part does not completely deal with what I want to say but I felt it was best for me break it into two parts and provide some much needed time and space to Ishita's past also.
Hmm, Subbu. I think a separate post can be written on Subbu and Ishita. May be I will consider it once I am through with this one. It is true that Subbu is the other side of the coin. And it intrigues me that since childhood BOTH of them were close. So, did Subbu feel nothing when he just dumped her? Ok, females are more emotional, but men are no less. He was going to marry this woman and marriage is a big step for anyone irrespective of gender. And she was his childhood sweetheart. And he did not feel anything.
While Shagun is shown to be pure evil, gold digger, my interpretation of Subbu's character is more of a coward than evil. He was never evil. He was just not brave enough to accept and deal with a difficult situation. Typical bad husband material 😛.
However, I will stick to exploring Ishita's side in this fic and may be consider something about it later on 😳.
😆, you made me dream about Raman acting the jealous types. Reminds me of Sid and Ishu interaction during Ek Villain promotion. Poor man, was so obviously jealous when she gave attention to Sid and asked for that photo. What will happen when her past comes knocking on their doors. It will be an interesting watch for sure.

About Ishita's past, the reluctance of CV's to explore her past made me pen down my thoughts. I really hope that I am able to some justice to what she has gone through.
I really liked this part personally. I have experienced something like this personally at one point of time and I know very well that sometimes mere presence of loved ones makes a lot of difference. I am glad you liked this part too as it is something close to my heart too 😳😳.
