hi maybe you have seen these pic,but i have question, what is the Golden Temple, i mean any history?

the golden temple also known to sikhs as Sri Harmandir Sahib is a gurdwara that our fourth guru, Guru Ram Das Ji had started building and it was completed by our fifth guru, Guru Arjan Dev Ji.

It is located in the City of Amritsar, Punjab, India. The gurdwara is surrounded by water a/k/a the pool of nectar.

the history is very deep and long my friend and unfortunately, so much blood shed has taken place at our holy place, but sadness aside to me it is the most peaceful places on this entire earth. The term "golden temple" was given to the gurdwara as it is painted with pure gold.

If you google you will find a wealth of information, but in short it is a holy shrine of the sikhs where hindus, muslims, christians and all the other religions and believers are welcome.
