As I was re- watching the part where Ram was pouring the mitti into her Aanchal , I felt that instead of saying that he couldn't share her fate, he was ,in fact, acknowledging her wish to go back to her birth mother and thus was freeing her to make her own choice irrespective of his own grief at the separation...it sort of justifies his tears and the poignancy of their convo...doesn't it?
I'll tell you how I reached my analysis savita.. You pointed it accurately it was very poignant...
And I'll admit one thing the cv's have played it very well...
The first time I watched the epi I was dumbstruck. I didn't knew from where to start and what to write.. I began updating scene wise.. As I wrote of "manoraj" shruthi had posted about the soil scene which I read and reached the conclusion of life and fate..
Till then all okay.. After reading and discussing a lot, I was constantly bothered by one thought... The name of the show... Siya ke Ram... Its not Ramayana.. Its siya ke ram.. Whereas I had spoke a lot about the pivot but wasn't convinced. I understood this when I saw the epi and I came to add up here.. The whole scene was not just sita or siya-ram. The scene was about Ram... Especially the soil scene.. And I concluded the same that u have written.. I'll tell u how.
Life= struggle
Fate= wish
Any brainstorm? No?
Life is a larger form of struggle and fate is a larger form of wish.
I spoke about the broader aspect initially. But when I added on pg.12 I shrinked towards the minute details. Their expressions... Ram was teary eyed but contended whereas sita smiled. And that's where the wish angle came into play... Ram will share her struggle but grant her wish...
On a wider plane, he would share her life and give back her fate...
Its a very deep and philosophical side u c... One can conquer life also with strong will and persistence but one cannot conquer fate...
And that's where the soil scene lies.. Ram will endure hardships just like sita.. With a strong will he'll conquer the struggles ( like he said, main aapko haarne nahi dunga) but he won't rather his love wouldn't be able to conquer her wish...
Now coming to this episode, you know I said that cv's were pretty clever with this... They have veiled a very important msg in the face of siya-ram scene... I noticed this the first tym I watched but purposefully dodged the scene in my analysis.. And I saw no body has even mentioned it later...
The real forecast lies in that scene. But again I won't spill the beans as I really want to see how they will deal with it and portray it...
And I actually request all if you notice that scene keep it in mind but don't even utter about it... 😉 😆
