If I were engaged to be married, that would be really very important for me. It is such a small thing, yet so solid. What was the writer trying to achieve by not making that his priority. Gifts are great, but there itself you can see an incompatible factor. Veer loves to spend. Mishti is the opposite. It is going to be a big problem in marriage if they cannot come to a consensus on that. These are subtle things, let us see where they lead to.

Tell me, how can Mishaan have an emotional connection without knowing anything about each other? They haven't talked normally, let alone being friends. I didn't know emotional connect happens out of thin air with people who we don't know at all. 😆

Emotional connect comes with talking to people and knowing them. Mishaan is pure physical attraction no matter what spin the writers try to put on it. The writers are trying hard to show this as "Ohh-its-not-just-attraction" when its just that. 😆

Same way writers were trying hard to show Kunan as divine love but failed. 😆

Also it's a fact that divorce rates are much higher than 20 years back.

A single partner CAN OPT out even if the other person is not willing or not at fault.

Umm no again a strong reason is asked for seeking a divorce and it is not ki bhai Aise hi sparks ude aur kisi aur se pyar ho Gaya althofuh my partner jaan chidkos on me !

It doesn't work like this ! Valid reason is needed be it abuse or compatibility issues etc.
Happy Relation mein rehkar no one goes for a divorce

He didn't wish coz he wanted to make her feel special ehrn he surprises her with the party

Also he came on Holi to wish her first didn't he

Here he was thiking about her and how he could make her feel special and keep the surprise intact

Also no where it was shown that he is materialistic..it is people who assumed

He made her do extra shopping and talked about buying a phone coz at both instances he was keeping her sway from the party preparations

Also surprise party was his idea...if he only gifted her expensive stuff and didn't bother to do anything to make her feel special then what u said would have made sense but not in this case where he make a efforts like organising a party for her with her family's help a part form buying stuff

Made no sense to me because anyway he would have to wish her in the morning . Might as well have wished her first !

The shopping is a character trait. He couldn't think of any other way to engage her when she clearly is not comfortable spending so much? That means he doesn't know her well enough.

Have you ever had a crush or fallen in love?
Ruhaan fell for her looks. I found it very shallow when both the guys were boasting about the looks of their girls who was actually the same person. I will take it as men are shallow. 😆

In Mishti's case, clearly she was taken aback and she thought about the guy who took her photo, it was so out of the blue. She didn't fantasise on him. She has never done that actually.

Love can happen at first sight. Especially if you feel the other person feels the connection too. And then you nurtutre it into something more special. If you havent ever had that feeling, you are never going to understand it.

Love is something that has always been debated.

And by the way, Nandni was Kunal's true love. It didn't look divine much, but atleast he stuck to her as he promised her.

Who is saying she has to break up ?! 😆

Why can't he break up too? May be he will find something he doesn't like about her. 😆

Later in marriage, one partner's spending habits can really take a toll on the other, trust me. It is a very important aspect in marriage. You probably have no idea.

Every single human being has had crushes or loves in their lives, so I don't see why you think I'm an exception. 😆 I'm not from Uranus ya know.

'Love at first sight' is an oxymoronic term. Love is something deep and develops with getting to know someone. Being attracted to someone is not love, no matter how 'special' it mighty feel. Love is when you love someone for their nature and the ways in which they appeal to you. How can that happen at first sight? Or a hundred sights for that matter? Love comes from knowing someone as a human being. Anything else is attraction. Infatuation or crush is also a form of lust only. Its lust+a little something more, but still its lust and not love. Crush feels like love, but its not love right?

You yourself said that Ruhaan fell for her looks. There's a name for that. It's 'lust'. Lust doesn't always have to be nasty and cringe worthy. Any physical attraction you feel towards someone you don't love is lust, no matter which form it might take. And Ruhaan did fantasize about her in THAT way. How else can you explain him caressing the tissue with her lipstick mark on it? Obviously in Indian TV they cannot show him thinking about her naked body. 😛

Mishti was irritated with him at first but now she's also feeling lust for him. That's why her heartbeat increases and she feels tense around him. That's a sign of physical attraction.
