Marriage is not a game. But its been made to look like a game when poor helpless people are blackmailed for it. Marriage shouldnt be a game, but often the cornered person is oppressed by some brute by making him/her into a toy and play the marriage-marriage game.

Sadhna married a MAD MAN. Alekh was a looney. He used to hit anyone who came infront of him.

Sadhna married him in return of the salvation of the Sharma house. It was not that she cheated on Alekh or Vasu. It was a method to USE Sadhna. An abuse of her helplessness. It falls very nicely under the most vulgar and sick form of unethical ABUSE.

Like many orphans, innocent people ... she had no other option but to walk into the trap. SADHNA IS NOT LIKE others who would just plain think of themselves and forget personalities like Mamaji and the souls of her departed parents (lest I unravel the same old history of Mamaji and his mercies, the respect of her parents ... all over again. I feel I have explained those earlier).

However once Sadhna got married, she remained faith to the marriage - even though it was a sick life with a retarded human being ... who didnt know how to eat his own meal.

This retarded man called her friend. It was a relationship of friendship.

One fine day this retarded person (who got married to Sadhna without knowing that is marriage) overhears his mother and Sadhna's conversation - he realises that this was an ABUSE case. Vasu mentally, socially and sexually abusing or creating the atmosphere of abuse for Sadhna.

It could well have happened that Alekh killed Sadhna ... Raped Sadhna ... or did something equivalent. However, Sadhna's bhakti and patience got Alekh softer and increasingly better. What I mean to say is that there was all opportunity for anything to happen.... but still Sadhna did stick to Alekh and not go to the Police after Mamaji's problems got solved. She remained loyal to the marriage.

However, when Mr. Alekh Rajvansh Sahab recovers ... knowing all of Sadhna's sacrifice - bullet wound - unquestioned service - teaching of values - education ... he becomes obsessive about his career and totally ignores her.

Sadhna tries desperately to give this marriage a meaning. But Alekh Rajvansh ... doesnt pay heed.

Anyways, the point that can be brought is that he is recovering ... moving out of a shock of CM ... FINE WITH ME!.. But that doesnt mean that he will treat Sadhna like this in no dictionary. Never. Its utter ignorance and selfish. He might take some time ... but not like that.

Sadhna signed the divorce papers out of JOY? ... Was it MASTI? ... No. She signed the divorce papers out of another ABUSE attempt by Vasu. And she signed out of a marriage she was trying to make work - THE MARRIAGE INFACT NEVER EXISTED.

And ... as a matter of fact ... I am happy that one way or the other ... Sadhna signed off. Now if Alekh needs him, he must BEG. If he cant beg ... let him marry Mallika. Mallika will surely teach him what a wife is...😆

Sadhna had no other opportunity but to Sign the Papers. She respects the marriage, but she cannot sacrifice real relationships for a PAPER's WORTH.

Its a paper marriage. Its like getting married to a Pine Tree. Many people do that in rural India ... so should we advice those women to respect those marriages and remain attached to those PINE TREES? ... I Dont Think So. India Must WAKE UP!

Sadhna did the right thing to sign the papers in my POV, because she had no other option. And Alekh is doing an IMMENSELY SHAMEFUL ACT by agreeing to marry Mallika ... Something ME AND RANVIR are both in agreement 😉...

Yea know what ... Ragini's attitude towards Sadhna is very painful and unjust! ... BUT ALEKH's attitude towards Sadhna is WORSE. It is as though ALEKH IS PARTICIPATING in the ABUSE on Sadhna (which Vasu started). No matter what went on in Rajvansh house ... Alekh's obligation to Sadhna was MUCH MUCH higher. Just because Sadhna is his wife does not make Sadhna LESS HUMAN so that Alekh can take all of Sadhna's contributions towards him as granted. Wife is not a jooti or a murgi ... She is also a human and her devoted service cannot be washed away.

No one forced Sadhana to marry Alekh. This was her own decision. I wont go into the details just to prove a point. Sadhana's intentions are good but they are often misguided. She needs to set her priorities straight and live her own life. That does not mean she stop caring for others but there has to be a limit. There was no logic behind Sadhana's actions this time as there were other options available. She has put others before Alekh which is so wrong for a married woman. OK her marriage was bad but she didn't give him divorce him for that reason. So lets agree to disagree on this one.

Situation FORCED Sadhna to marry. Situation is often the biggest ONE at certain times.

Good intentions are often tough to follow ... because its laden with thorns. Thus, one can say that its foolish and misguided to tread on thorns ... and the other can say that its JUNOON of righeousness... belief...sacrifice.

Other Options..,such as? ... asking money from Ranvir? ... Ragini? ... where would Ragini get the money from (if she even would bother to hear and tolerate) ... from the Rajvansh Khazana? ... And then we all know that this would completely and comprehensively break Mamaji (quoting the episode where he almost had a heart failure and lost his sleep ... when Ranvir payed his son's credit).

Sadhna did this all for everyone ... but exclusively for Mamaji ... as from Mamaji came the Sharma. Mamaji comes first.

Sadhna knows her situation best ... she was the one who explained this to Ranvir ... as she knows Mamaji even better than Ragini (as admitted by Ragini herself).

Saving Mami with that money would ultimately crush and finish Mamaji's whole life's earning (his swabhimaan) ... and that would not be the best option.

Mamaji tried so hard to stop Saalekh wedding when he found out that Alekh is mad just before the marriage rituals started. But Sadhana went ahead only because she wanted RagVir marriage.... was there any guarantee ?
The only good point is that her sacrifices never go in vain. Even this time something good will come out of it. Saalekh relationship will become strong.

Alekh's act is not shameful. From his POV, Sadhana wants to end this relationship.

Alekh cannot react like any other man when the wife is asking to end the marriage in normal circumstances. Neither is Alekh's obligations towards Sadhna normal ... neither are Sadhna's situation normal ... nor are the overall circumstances normal. Sadhna's explanation was very important ... before that forming a POV is wierd to say the least!

Mamaji would not be dancing in JOY. He would be sad and angry ... but he would still be MAMAJI ... and this MAMAJI MAY HAVE HIS HEAD CUT ... BUT NOT HANGING. (Famous Indian Phrase : Sar Kata Sakteinhain Lekin SIR JHUKA SAKTE NAHIN...la la la laaa 😳)

Infact thats the Blessing That Sadhna Brings. Ordinary people in Bidaai are shown concerned about the person's physical self ... while Sadhna thinks about the soul. In Ranvir's case too, she gave SOUL the higher priority, and Ranvir was ever so thankful (he mentioned his great relaxation due to this step by Sadhna...even though he lost some worldly favors). She is SAME with Mamaji too ... and Mamaji will also be thankful - forever!... Can Bet Allll Me Money on that 😉

I totally agree - Don't get me wrong, I like Sadhna and feel sorry for her, but I find her exasperating!
Thank god she is fictional! If I knew someone like her in real life, I would be going crazy!

What I find exasperating about this character is all the secrecy. the hiding and selective truth telling....I know I know - she's supposed to be trying to protect the people she loves, but all the secrecy ends up creating more and more trouble. She digs herself into a deeper hole with every lie of omission and commission and also makes it difficult for other characters to make sense of situations.

I think that the truth, however unpalatable, needs to be told. Surely all problems can be sorted out if people who care about each other just sit down and talk honestly.

But thats real life. This is a soap.
If they did that here there would be no Bidaai! There wouldn't be any hindi soaps!

In Bidaai, Sadhna is the unfortunate fulcrum that keeps all the suspense going in this show. Sadhna, I am sorry to say, is a plot device.

Having said that, it is also true that this character has captured the imagination of so many people out in the real world - people who take great issue at what happens to her and defend her and fight with the producers for her! Its amazing! The creators of the show and actress who plays her deserve credit for that!

They got the house back ... so Sadhna had to carry through with the rest of the deal...
