Mamaji's house was the first part.

Ordinary people will flee with the money ... Sadhna wanted to satisfy all the terms and clauses...

Breach of contract is a loath-worthy crime...
its not human to do it. Our civilization and history doesnt allow it.

@blue : No...she didn't have to..she told clearly to Vasu that she wont go against her Mamaji's wishes and Vasu has to make sure that Mamaji doesn't find out that Alekh is mad. So the deal was already broken.
The fact remains that she married Alekh only for Ragini's happiness and she gave him divorce only for Ragini's happiness.

SADHNA IS THE JAAAAAAAAN of Bidaai 😊 ... my GOOGLY WOOGLY WOOSH 😳 (why dont they have a kissing emoticon?)

@Anu: So if Vasu hides that Alekh is mad ... and eventually Sadhna is marrying him (even though Mamaji gets to know somehow) ... still the deal is not broken because its not Vasu who informed Mamaji!

The money was not for free...

She married Alekh ALSO for Ragini's happiness, but she gave him divorce for Mamaji's sake ... infact she had no other option. ITS CLEAR ... this is what the CT wants TO TELL US... no matter what we do ... this is all what the CT wanna tell us by hook or crook ... thats why they are making so many PAPAD.

@blue : I have watched the episodes. lol Didn't I say Sadhana wont go against Mamaji's wishes ? That was the main thing...it doesn't matter how Mamaji finds out.

I totally agree - Don't get me wrong, I like Sadhna and feel sorry for her, but I find her exasperating!
Thank god she is fictional! If I knew someone like her in real life, I would be going crazy!

What I find exasperating about this character is all the secrecy. the hiding and selective truth telling....I know I know - she's supposed to be trying to protect the people she loves, but all the secrecy ends up creating more and more trouble. She digs herself into a deeper hole with every lie of omission and commission and also makes it difficult for other characters to make sense of situations.

I think that the truth, however unpalatable, needs to be told. Surely all problems can be sorted out if people who care about each other just sit down and talk honestly.

But thats real life. This is a soap.
If they did that here there would be no Bidaai! There wouldn't be any hindi soaps!

In Bidaai, Sadhna is the unfortunate fulcrum that keeps all the suspense going in this show. Sadhna, I am sorry to say, is a plot device.

Having said that, it is also true that this character has captured the imagination of so many people out in the real world - people who take great issue at what happens to her and defend her and fight with the producers for her! Its amazing! The creators of the show and actress who plays her deserve credit for that!

You are so right. Mr. Shahi also mentioned the same thing in his interview...Sadhana is the driving force ...i.e the protagonist. Sadhana is sweet, caring, selfless, modest and so innocent. She is an amazing character but only this time I am not on her side...I stand by Alekh but its even better as Alekh is her "jaan". 😆

@Anu: I agree with you there ... but not standing on Sadhna's side --- perhaps you have your points ... perhaps you are touched... perhaps sad!... So am I ... but i just feel that Alekh had much more obligations...
Sadhna's signing of divorce papers had no other way was there?... And it was for Mamaji more than Ragini.

Ofcourse, if you say about Sadna's intentional slip 😔 .... if it was intentional ... what can I say ... my poor googly woogly wash needs someone to love her out of the Inertia towards RAGINI 😒 ... damn... but cannot outright blame her for this ... have to listen to those heart-beats sincerely ... and the sounds will be that of deep confusion about ones own role --- on ones place in the whole picture.

Think about how I feel... specially with all the tears that Sadhna is getting. Our SAALEKH has become SADHNA & ALEKH... yeh kitna annyai hai... bahut zyada anyai hai... Saalekh infact was always a hypothesis.... Saalekh never occured yet.

Noone is getting what I am trying to say... I have no objection in Alekh getting upset with Sadhna, when he saw the divorce papers...what I want to say is "his decision to agreeing to marry Mallika" is not right...everyone is consistent with one point, that marriage is a sacred bond, so how come Alekhji just decide on a second marriage instantly...one needs sometime to come out of a relationship and settle on another, but for Alekhji, it seems Sadhna or Mallika is not important, what is important is a girl, whom he wants to marry...

You are right...Sadhna's character if you have watched from Day 1, you'ld fall in love more and more ...I still remember how Sadhna intentionally dropped a big pot on her feet, so that she cannot walk (it was needed for Vasu's and Nani's concern that the people who came for Ragini's marriage do not see Sadhna)...there are lots of small examples like this in the initial episodes, just to establish the altruistic nature of Sadhna and provide a contrast to Rgaini's superficial character except one or two examples when Rgaini's love for Sadhna was shown in depth)... Ragini's character was not bad, but it was very superficial....

Sadhna's character is like that of a mother, who can feel that a child is hungry from the child's face...people like Sdahna, can feel the pain of others, by looking at their face whereas for other people, even if things are spelled out, they cant understand...

Very few people could understand what foundation was being built in Bidaai from the beginning, all these small examples of Sdahna's altruism led to bigger and bigger sacrifices, just proving the age-old proverb...Morning shows the day...

as RS said this rift was planned from before, may be the cirsumstance of how it will occur was not planned, it was written afterwards...

We get what you're saying 😊
This has been discussed before and I've said this before:
To agree to marry Mallika is a very unhealthy and immature decision. I think Aalekh is basically very immature. He knows he loves Sadhna - even if he believes (wrongly, of course) that she is indifferent, it's silly to marry someone else - a person needs time to get over a relationship before he/she can commit to a new one! I would say its unfair to Mallika except that she knows and has agreed to be this rebound marriage! I don't know who is more misguided here!

Exactly, Alekh is still immature and took a rash decision in anger and hurt.

@bold : Actually they all are misguided by Vasu.....Sadhana, Alekh and Mallika.
