OH MY FREAKING HELL.

I have goosebumps, Saf. No joke. I'm shaking while I type this - this is so freaking real, so believable, so CANON, that I can visualise this happening! I can't even.

Brilliant. Your best SHQ work till date. So so beautiful, so inspiring.

Chapter Three

Once they got to her house, she got off his bike and looked down at the ground, trying to control the erratic beating of her heart. After how long had she seen her husband? Glancing up at Randhir, she noticed him looking at her, almost as if he was thinking the same thing... could it be that he still looked at her as his wife?

"D - do you want to go in then?" she asked him softly.

"Yeah, let's go" he answered, as if she interrupted him from his thoughts.

In reality, Randhir was already feeling his heart go weak. This was why he wanted to spend his time working... if free time came in the way then his mind would drift to her. She would make him feel weak and perhaps he would have even run off to find her, unable to bear the pain of separation.

As he looked at her, he was finally beginning to realize how much he missed her... he finally allowed himself to feel the pain of being separated. It was ironic how she had to come in front of him for him to feel that.

Sanyukta lead him towards the door of her house. As she opened it, she saw her father sitting on the couch, reading a newspaper. Aryan was next to him.

"Aryan?" Sanyukta asked, shocked.

Aryan looked up to see Randhir had followed her in. He wasn't shocked though... he had expected this. Mr. Agarwal was shocked though. Kishore looked up at Randhir and a look of fury appeared on his face.

"What is he doing here?" Kishore asked angrily.

"Papa, he came to meet Parth," Sanyukta said softly. "You know Parth is his friend too."

Randhir looked down. The last time they met, Kishore Agarwal hated him. He believed that Randhir wasn't a good fit for his daughter... and Randhir tried to grow in his eyes, but all failed.

"He disappeared for two years, and now he's back? Where did you even find him?" Kishore asked, his eyes filled with anger.

"We - we work together," Sanyukta informed her father. "Aryan, Randhir and I."

"I guess I should come back another time to meet Parth then," Randhir muttered, and then turned around about to leave.

Sanyukta reached out and grabbed his arm to stop him. Her touch didn't only stop him, but it reminded him of all of the touches from the past... the way his heart used to hammer at her close proximity, the way goosebumps rose on his skin.

"Randhir, come upstairs," she said firmly.

Her father had supported her these last two years, and she was very grateful for that... but even today, if someone insulted her husband, she wasn't able to tolerate it. Even if it was her own father. And at this point, Randhir was not at fault. He just came to meet Parth, which he was fully entitled to do.

She let her hand fall from his arm to his hand, and held it gently. Randhir didn't know what she was doing... he didn't know why she was holding his hand, after all that they had gone through.

Sanyukta herself didn't know why she held his hand... all she knew was that she was scared. She was scared to leave his hand. She was scared that he would leave and she wouldn't see him again. After so much difficulty, so much struggle, she had finally found him... and now if he left, she didn't know how long it would take to heal her fresh wounds.

She lead him upstairs as Kishore and Aryan watched them go. Kishore Agarwal was smiling. It had been so long since Sanyukta had stood up for what she believed to be right... it had been so long since he saw his daughter with that kind of confidence.

Kishore had always thought of Randhir as Sanyukta's weakness... but today he was shown that Randhir was actually her biggest strength.

"I didn't know that they were so close," Aryan murmured to Kishore.

"They were very close," Kishore admitted. "I came in the way."

He turned around to face the younger boy and smiled softly. When Sanyukta introduced Aryan to him, Kishore had hope that Aryan would be able to help Sanyukta. Kishore took a liking for Aryan. Perhaps because he was Sanyukta's only new friend. Kishore thought that Aryan was the perfect fit for his daughter... but today, he was shown a perfection beyond what he saw perfect. Today, he was shown what perfection truly meant.

"You came in the way?" Aryan inquired.

"They loved each other," Kishore answered. "They wanted to get married... I said no."

Aryan felt his heart drop as Kishore said that, but he had already figured out that they had shared a very intimate relationship. After all, Sanyukta wouldn't have just waited like that for anybody... and if Randhir had been a friend of the past, she wouldn't have seemed so nervous. When Sanyukta ran to the washroom earlier, he knew she had run off to cry.

"You know Uncle, she touched a machine today. She... she almost repaired it. Thanks to Randhir," Aryan told Kishore with a smile. "What I couldn't do, Randhir managed to."

"That is how their relationship is," Kishore answered, still smiling. "No matter how much they argue, no matter how much they fight, or how many differences they have... they will always pull each other up. They build each other's strength. I am only beginning to realize this myself."

Aryan nodded, understanding what Kishore was trying to say. It did hurt him to see the girl he fell in love with be with someone else... and he still wanted her, but he knew that it was wrong for him to interfere.

Upstairs Sanyukta, still holding Randhir's hand, took him to the guest room where Parth was lying down.

She let go of his hand when they entered the room. Vidhushi was sitting on the chair next to the bed, and Parth looked relieved to see that Sanyukta had come in.

When he saw who was next to him though, his eyes widened with shcok.

"R - Randhir!" Parth exclaimed, and tears filled his eyes.

"Parth," Randhir whispered and walked up to the bed before sitting on it and engulfing his friend in a tight hug.

Randhir couldn't control the tears that escaped his own eyes.

"I missed you Randhir," Parth whispered. "I missed you so much... where did you go? There was even a misunderstanding that you were dead due to drug abuse."

Randhir smiled through his tears, glad that his friend was very much alive, and recovering.

"Where did you find him?" Vidhushi gasped, and walked to Sanyukta.

"We work together," Sanyukta answered, a smile on her lips as she watched the two best friends unite.

"Are you two - are you two back together?" she asked, her eyes wide with curiosity.

Sanyukta shook her head and dragged Vidhushi out of the room so they could give Randhir and Parth space.

Inside the room, Randhir sobbed, still clutching to Parth tightly. He had never cried in the two years he had been away... but today, seeing Parth like this made him vulnerable. It made him weak. It unleashed all the feelings that he had hidden within.

"Parth," Randhir sobbed. "I thought you died."

"Randhir, how could you just disappear off the face of the planet?" Parth asked him. "Do you know how Sanyukta lived without you?"

Randhir broke the hug and wiped the tears that had fallen from his eyes.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"She left engineering Randhir," Parth told him seriously. "Without you, she lost all faith in herself. You were always her pillar of hope... so when you left, she had no hope remaining. She worked at a small office job."

Randhir looked at Parth incredulously. Sanyukta left her dream of engineering to work at an office job? That was not the Sanyukta he knew. That was not the headstrong girl that he had fallen in love with.

"Really?" he asked Parth with shock.

Then suddenly, he remembered earlier in the office, how she had tried to fix the machine but had almost created a blast. He remembered her shaking hands and the fearful expression on her face.

"She thought it was her fault that I was in this position," Parth admitted. "It scared her... but in reality, I pressed the button. She didn't do anything Randhir. On top of that, you weren't there to support her. Her father was her only support, but he couldn't even do what you were able to do. She suffered a lot Randhir."

Randhir felt tears invade his eyes again as he thought of how Sanyukta must have felt all these years, with a lost hope, lost confidence, and a lost love.

"Parth, I never allowed myself to think about her," he admitted, sounding guilty. "I never allowed myself to think about her because I feared this. I feared that I wouldn't be able to control my emotions. I feared that I would run back to her when she was just going to hurt our relationship in the end. I was scared that we would never work out because she always put her career over everything else. Even... even her husband."

Parth sat up against his pillow and shook his head.

"Randhir, she hasn't put her career in front of you. If she had, then you leaving her wouldn't propel her to leave her career. She needs you Randhir... she needs you because she needs your support. Without your support, she isn't the Sanyukta I know. You're the one who brought out the best in her. You always were."

Randhir shook his head.

"I can't let myself drown in the past Parth. I've... I've moved on and I'm sure she has as well... Aryan is here now. He... he loves her. I can see it," Randhir answered.

Then he stood up.

"I should get going now," he told Parth. "I don't want to be late in going home."

As he left the room, Parth picked up his phone and called Vidhushi.

Vidhushi smiled widely upon seeing Parth's name on her phone. He decided to pursue her after all.

"Hi Parth, finally thinking about me?" she asked flirtatiously.

"Don't let Randhir leave," Parth said into the phone. "Lock both Sanyukta and Randhir in a room."

"What?" Vidhushi asked. "How can I do that? What if... what if... papa sees me or Ankit? I will be screwed!"

"You never worry about that when you sneakily drink Vidhushi. Hurry up and do it or I'll have to get up and do it myself," Parth replied, sounding irritated.

"Fine," she huffed and then hung up the phone.

Sanyukta was already in her room... she just had to grab Randhir.

Randhir was on his way to the stairs, about to head downstairs when she grabbed his arm to stop him.

"What?" he asked Vidhushi rudely.

He never had to try to be someone else in front of Vidhushi... for some reason, their relationship had always been like this. And he didn't think about it for a moment to pretend to be some cool, collected man in front of her.

"I like how you're talking to me Randhir. It feels like old times," she said with a smirk. "Anyways, I can't let you leave like this."

"What do you mean?" he asked, glaring at her.

"I missed you Randhir!" Vidhushi said with a pout and then started to pull him towards Sanyukta's room.

"What are you doing?" he asked, sounding irritated.

"Wait in here for me. I have to get something and give it to you. You didn't come to mine and Ankit's wedding, so I couldn't give this to you. Think of this as prasadam that has accumulated over the last two years," she said with a smirk and pushed him into the dark room.

Randhir was about to object, but she had already closed the door.

Kishore appeared just as she closed the door and her eyes widened.

"Papa - I - was," she gasped.

He took out a lock from his pocket and smiled.

"What you're doing isn't enough. He'll just come back out," Kishore said, and then held the lock out for her.

Vidhushi grinned and took the lock from her father-in-law before locking the room from the outside.

"Good luck getting out now," Vidhushi murmured with a smirk.

Kishore laughed and touched his daughter-in-law's head.

Aryan appeared behind them and said, "He'll probably try getting out of the window."

Vidhushi nodded. Aryan had a point.

"One second," Aryan said, and then took out his phone to text Sanyukta. "Don't let Randhir leave out the window. His life could be in danger, that's why we locked him in your room."

Vidhushi rolled her eyes when Aryan sent that.

"I thought you were smarter. Nobody will believe you," Vidhushi commented.

"Sanyukta will," Aryan said with a smile. "She won't take a risk with Randhir's life."

"How do you know?" Vidhushi snapped.

"Aryan's right," Kishore commented. "Sanyu's heart is very pure."

Then the three of them walked away from the room, knowing that now Sanyukta and Randhir had no choice but to confront their past and be with each other.

"Papa, aren't you worried?" Vidhushi asked Kishore curiously as she followed him downstairs. "I mean a boy is alone with your daughter in her room."

"She will marry him one day," Kishore said confidently. "I have no reason to be worried. Plus... I know my daughter won't do anything like that before marriage."

Kishore had no idea that Randhir and Sanyukta were already married.

Vidhushi looked at him with surprise - never expecting her father-in-law to change so drastically. Was he the same conservative, orthodox Kishore Agarwal who nearly forced Sanyukta to sacrifice her dreams?

Inside the room, Randhir tried to open the door and Sanyukta appeared behind him shaking her head.

"What is with these people?" she asked with frustration.

"I would like to know why your family is so weird," he grumbled. "How could they just lock me here like this? I want to know if it was just Vidhushi and Aryan or your father too?"

"It can't be my father!" Sanyukta gasped. "He would never do this!"

"I'm leaving from the window," Randhir said, and started to walk over to the window, but Sanyukta held his arm to stop him

"No! It's dangerous outside. I told you Aryan texted me," Sanyukta said sounding fearful.

"Don't be silly Sanyukta! You can't be so naive to believe that!" he responded, and pulled his arm away from her grip.

"N - no! I can't let you leave like this!" Sanyukta replied, and grabbed his arm again as he was passing the bed.

As he tried to pull his arm away from her grip this time, he fell backwards on top of the bed, and she grabbed on to his arm again, falling on top of him.

Time stood still as the two of them looked at each other with such intensity, that it was like they had momentarily forgotten about everything... except for each other and their love.

Awesome
Paran conversation was best!
The best thing parth did was to clear all the misunderstanding first. Hope same happens in the show

Randhir feeling guilty still he manages to overcome it soon just as not to show it.

Parth used vidushi's tricks and asked her only to imply😆
Kishore and aryaan too helped her.

I hope aryaan goes well with this fact😛
He should understand that he is no match to RSS😎

Ahaa...last thing to happen was sandhir falling on bed..
Can't wait for the upcoming sandhir confrontation.

Update soon
Love you

Vidu ki plan, mind blowing hai
Aryan ki idea bhi superb hai

now Sandhir had no other option
