Chapter 17 - When Happiness Surround!
Ayaan was looking for Humaira when he saw her sitting in garden, all lost to herself drowned in some unknown pain. In his carefree nature Ayaan came to her and lay in front of her with a bright smile. From few days they have came really close though Ayaan keep a safe distance keeping in view the memory loss of Humaira so she don't regret any moment they spent after she regained her memory.
"
what are you thinking Humaira begum? So deep and lost?" Ayan asked
Humaira looked at him with a look that told him something is surely amiss. He quickly sat straight and straightened his jacket.
"
what happen? Why are you making that face like your shahrukh died?" Ayaan inquired with a hint of joke
"
tmhe har bat par mazak sojta h na Ayaan" Humaira accused him
That were lines that brought a memory of past for Ayaan. He remembered the same sentence said by her when once he had joked off her feelings. Now these lines said by her again alarmed him.
"
what happened Humaira? did I said or did something hurtful? "Ayaan was worried
"when did not you hurt me Ayaan? You did it everytime! When will you stop playing with my feelings am a human who has heart, Ayaan"Humaira was deeply hurt with a reason known to her

When did I played with yoyr feelings? Why are you telling riddles why don't you tell me straightly what is bothering you" Ayaan was worried and annoyed
Humaira gave him a lone stare before replying "
I remembered everything Ayaan! I remembered everything, I have got my memory"Ayaan frozed. It was a shock for him that paralysed him. It was not that he was not happy but it was that sudden fright that gripped his heart. It was the feeling of losing her.

you remembered everything it was not a question neither an answer but a fear, fear of losing the love of his life
"
yes I did! And never ever in my life I thought that you will took advantage of my memory loss. I never thought that you will use me for your timepass, flirt with me just because I forgot everything. So disgusting! " Humaira felt pain in her heart thinking all this
Tanveer saw her evil dreams coming true when she saw Asad entering the hall with his head down. A bright victorious smile plastered on her face. Dilshad heaved a sigh of relief and go to Tanveer. She put a veil on her face and make her sit on wedding altar. Asad was made sit on other side of Tanveer behind a veil. The qazi asked for Asad and Tanveer consent on marriage which Tanveer gave gleefully but Asad sit lost in pain. Asad was asked for the last time and he just nod lightly in yes breaking hearts.
"what are you saying Humaira? How can you even think that I can ever do this disgusting work? Whatever I said or did for you was genuine because I had truly fallen for you because I love you. I am ready for any punishment for what I did before that accident but at least don't humilate those times we spent and my love for you"in his anguish Ayaan confessed his love
Humaira turned with jerk and looked at him startled and shocked.
"
you... you are saying the truth? You are serious?" she demanded reconfirmation
Ayaan realized what he said but now he had no fear because now Humaira remembered those bitter memory
"
yes! Am saying the truth I love you! And am ready for any type of punishment for all the pain I caused you" he surrender himself with his head down
Humaira felt the scalding tears rolling down her cheeks and a bright smile flashed on her face as she ran and hug him tight
"
I love you too! You don't know how many years I waited to hear that from you. I love you so much Ayaan I do so much" Humaira confessed
Tears of happiness welled up in Ayaan eyes as he hugged her back and enjoyed the heavenly feeling of having her in his arms
"
I am sorry for being late for being foolish, I am sorry. I love you"Tanveer was given a huge push, luckily she was saved from the fall as she hold the pillar for support she felt something stinging her eyes. She pressed her eyes harshly to give pleasure to her eyes. Her vision cleared little after sometime and she saw the blur face of Asad standing infront of her with his head held high.
"jammy" She called for his help but he stood their like frozen to ground
After pressing her eyes for quite sometime she felt better and her vision cleared. She stood straight and looked at Asad angrily.
"jammy someone pushed me while I was dancing and even threw something in my eyes... and why didn't you come to help me? " Tanveer was frustrated on the unpleasant events happening with her instead of the nikkah that would have been completed by now but that just happened in her dreams
In all this, Tanveer didn't realised the happening of her surroundings and stood clueless of no one coming to them.
"why would I come to help you Tanveer when all this is done by us only?"Asad smiled innocently
Tanveer looked at him shocked, she thought that it was another stupid dream of her's but she couldn't stop herself from questioning
"
what is all this jammy? shock was evident on her face
Asad turned his head sideways with a smirk, confusing Tanveer.
Extremely confident and gracefully she came infront of her with a mirror in her hand.
Her mind was paralysed, she couldn't understand what's happening all she was seeing was Zoya beside Asad with a mirror in her hand. She moved her gaze from Zoya to the mirror and everything fall into place.
Zoya left the mirror letting it fall on the ground with the smashing sound that Tanveer feel were her dreams cries. Tanveer looked at the broken pieces of mirror as her reflection cried in them she felt it the ashes of her dreams looking at her with that stone eyed.
"I told you na that you can never win and see now your true face is lying on the ground crying out your evil truth" Zoya pointed at the mirror where reflection of Tanveer's stone eye was clear
Tanveer looked at Zoya getting all her senses, realizing that her lens had gotten off when she was cleaning her eyes and her veil of innocence also with it!
"Zoya! you, here! How?"Tanveer was speechless
"
why? What did you think that I will left you without exposing? Letting you win in your poisonous goal? Come on Tanveer don't you know that enemy never back off not untill you threw them in a place from where they cannot return? Remember what you always try with me? Chandelier, knife and what not!" Zoya sighed dramatically and then looked at Tanveer smirking
"but don't worry sweetheart I will not do any such thing kyunke tmhry trah giri hoye nhy hun na mai! am not as rude and evil like you I cannot take law in my hands I just" Zoya looked at Tanveer innocently "
bring it where it is needed"Tanveer was breathless when she saw police entering and standing behind Asad and Zoya.
"
no this cannot happen! love cannot win! fate can't be cruel to me! how can it turn evil whenever it's my turn, my dreams to be fulfilled? " Tanveer shook her head breathlessly and stepped backward
"
fate is not evill Tanveer but your intentions are. How can you deceive your own childhood friend? You lied all those killing attempts and tried to kill Zoya instead just for money you even fake all that rape chiii... atleast you should have think about your own respect oh wait how did I forgot that a girl like you has no respect and is characterless who is pregnant without marriage! " Gasps and whispers were heared but Tanveer looked at Asad shocked and was going to explain herself when Asad called for Najma and taking the file from her, he gave to inspector
"
this is the proof that she is pregnant before coming that incident and I don't have any relation to her child or with her she fake all that drama" Asad cold gaze was fairly eating Tanveer who looked down embarrassed on her exposure
"
why did you do all this Tanveer? You was not cruel like this! who would have thought that an innocent girl will turn this poisonous snake in years and will try to bite the one who feed her. Why did you do all this and tried to ruin us? What harm did we caused you to fill such a poison in you?" Asad questioned Tanveer but she stood silent though a strange feeling ran through her being
"
why are you silent now? Speak and tell me why did you do all this? And this eye of yours, from when are you hiding this and why? I thought maybe you are not the same Tanveer, who lived with us back then as her eye was not of stone so I investigate but no you was that same girl who turned this snake! Why did you do all this Tanveer why?" Asad voice reverberated in the whole room that shook Tanveer and she decided to break the ice
"
it is easy for you to stand here and question me, to blame me for everything but where was you when I actually needed you Asad? When I lost my parents, when I lost my one eye and when I was humiliated? You was not there to help me out, you was not!" tears of pain of past ran down her cheeks
"
so what Tanveer? Even I lost my father, I was humiliated too but that didn't mean I will turn evil, there were many ways the doors of our house was opened for you but no you took another path and became evil tell me what was so much big thing that forced you to be like this was there any or not huh?"Tanveer looked at him directly in his eyes and a cold spine ran through his nerves as he looked at her
"
some stories are unsaid Asad. Some things are so much buried under the pressure of time that they cannot be told but felt" Tanveer stopped for some time as Asad looked away in disgust as he felt she was playing with words again to turn it into her benefit "
you will never understand someone pain until you went throught the same" Asad looked at her with jerk startled by her claim as he remember something but he shook it off soon after
Asad asked the inspector to take away Tanveer with every proof he gave her and give her the punishment she deserves. Inspector nodded, handcuffed her and was about to take her away when
"
ek minute inspector!" Dilshad came forward
Everyone looked at Dilshad confused. Dilshad came forward wiped her tears and went near Tanveer. She looked at her for moment before honouring her with a tight slap.
Tanveer placed her hand on her cheek as she felt burning sensation of slap and looked at Dilshad in horror.
"
this is for trapping my son, making me against him"Dilshad said
She slapped her again -
"this was for Zoya pain and.." and there goes another slap on Tanveer's face "
this for deceiving us"Dilshad turned towards and inspector - "
take her away inspector"As soon police went away with Tanveer, Dilshad turned towards Asad with apologetic look.
"
mujhe maaf kr do Asad. I didn't trusted you, didn't even ask what was wrong or not? I slapped you and... and called you like that so called father of your while you are way better than him I am sorry" Dilshad cried
Asad cast a quick glance at Zoya and then hold Dilshad.
"
there is no need of apologising ami I was really at fault I deserved that slap! I always scolded, blamed and break the heart of person whom I love most. I deserved that slap for my foolishness" Asad then looked at Zoya who was looking at him with silent tears in her eyes
Asad turned to her
"
am so sorry Zoya am extremely sorry for the pain I caused you. I know well that sorry is too short word in front of the pain you went through so am ready for any punishment you give me just forgive me once by heart" Asad went on his knee, took out a diamond ring with heart shape and extend it out
"
I really love you Zoya and I promise to trust you always just give me one chance. There is no pressure you can decide it yourself whether you want to give me punishment, other chance or even want to go away from me or you want time whatever you want, whatever you will decide I will accept it wholeheartedly I promise no one will force you for anything"Asad pour out his heart
Zoya looked at him with ever flowing fresh tears. She reminiscences all the time spent with him, his confessions and concerns for her. Previous few days they spent, all the pain he bear for her in the fire, the garden moment after that and the bruises she treated she even remember the pain she went through due to him. There was conflict in her heart, she loves him and forgave him from long time but was this the right time to accept him wholeheartedly.
Asad felt pain increasing in his chest and was going to close his palm when he felt her hands against his and looked up to see the love for him in her eyes which he recognised so late.
Zoya noded in yes with tears shining in her eyes. Lost in the love for each other Asad make her wear the ring.
With tears of happiness, Dilshad and Najma clapped on their victory.
Asad stood up, holding her hand and deeply lost in each other. Dilshad came near them and blesses them smilingly.
Dilshad apolgised to guests and bid them bye. After the guests were gone, Dilshad came to Zoya
"
Zoya when did you come?" Dilshad twist Zoya ears
Najma and Asad laughed as Zoya screamed
"
are phupi pehle ap mere kaan to choro" Zoya plead
Dilshad left her ears and demand to know the matter
"
phupi actually I didn't even went New York I was just living in hotel for some reasons where this janab, your son saw me" Zoya told
"
Asad? When did you saw her and why didn't tell us? Dilshad was shocked
"
sorry ami actually you know the circumstances... I was in search of proofs against Tanveer when I saw her so for being with her I asked her to help me out and whatever she told me I get to know she will be not safe if Tanveer know about this"Zoya looked at Asad with open mouth
"so you just wanted my company not my help?" Zoya huffed
"
not that I needed your help too" Asad clarified
"
and mine? Najma winked
"
oh yes your too! You really scared me by that rudeness of yours... and finally when you told me all that it was a relief. Thankfully you follow Tanveer and get to know about her pregnancy that was such a huge proof and this madam she was literally eating me for involving you, talking about your security" Asad rolled his eyes
Najma giggle as Zoya look at Asad angrily.
"
wait a minute! It means you three were together only I was unaware about all this"Dilshad folded her arms
Asad Zoya and Najma looked at each other tensedly.
"
arre phupi ap isse choriye and ye btaye have you seen how this stupid son of your's proposed me? How unromantic! " Zoya exclaimed sighing
Dilshad smiled at this.
"
now look this is what I am and you have accepted me like this now you have to bear me" Asad comfortably sit on sofa
Zoya looked at him like he has grown horns. Dilshad and Najma broke in a fit of laughter and Asad too joined them seeing Zoya reaction. Zoya shook her head and flashed a dimple smile of her's.
The cloud of sadness and hopelessness were gone. It was the spring of happiness in both houses with AsYa and AyRa reunion. The love has won and was blooming to fullest.
