Aahil's love for Sanam? I don't think he is in love. His ego is hurt. If he had gone any deeper, he would be wondering what happened to her rather than why she did this to me?
I know this track for the Cv's unquenchable thirst for ..you know😉

I think his love IS deep. When she was in the graveyard and called him. he DID think about her. When she was in washing machine, he DID think about her.
After the graveyard fiasco, he STILL cared for her without even letting her know.

Was it relevant to the topic?

Convincing others, is a secondary thing. Thanks Prags. 🤗

I am offended by him too, in more than one ways, trust me 😆 I haven't denied the fact that he has been a jerk, an asshole, stupid and idiot. And. THAT is the EXACT reason why i defend him. My reason are somewhat stupid too I know.

See there could be following types of categories:
1. The ones who are against him for his spinelessness, and would blame him.
2. The ones who are sticking up for him and want to defend him, but are not/could not.
3. The ones who blame him, but still defending him.

Clearly, I belong to the 3rd category here, and might be in minority too 😆 Your love is so accpeting, mine for TV stars, even for my fav is very very conditional.😆

And when he would hurt his Sanam, clearly he would be hurting HIMSELF more, for hurting her.
And then he would be Stupid "Sexy" Beast 😆😆 How can he hurt the one he is supposed to love? I don't care whether he goes and bangs his head on a wall or cuts hurts hi shand afterwards.

The red part!! Grr!! I think you are getting my line of reason.😆
I SO SO DAMN MUCH want to see that, I would love to!! It would be just great if he would bang his fist and head, pull his hair out, cry and yell for all I care!😈 😆
Thats what I am talking about, if in love one gets hurt, the other one too gets hurt. If he hurts her, then he would be hurting himself too!

Just like the lyrics above say, that is your definition of love isn't it? That song is my favorite from Jab We Met! One of the BW movies I have watched and really enjoyed in the past few years. Imtiaz Ali...love him! :)

Love is not conquering or winning the person, but just loving them right? THAT is the kind of love that Saraswatichandra had for Kumud. In the original story, they never get married, but they fulfill their love for each other by always being there for each other. Each married someone else, but their love remained. Not in an "Adultery" sense, but in a "Pure" sense. Just like Devdas and Paro remained in love till the end, even when they were never able to be together. Like Chandramuki loved Devdas, even though HE loved someone else. He was the first man who made her feel like she was WORTH something. That made an impression on her that never left, and she sacrificed her life to his name! That is a pure form of love too! "Ek Thawaiaf, Jogaan ban gayi!"

So in order to achieve the purest form of love, you don't need to be married to someone! I agree. But the love must be unconditional, and it must be till the end. Ankeri Saans Thak! But it also does not abscond you from the commitments you have made in your life. Just like the above mentioned love stories illustrated. Especially the women, they loved these men without ANY expectations. Even Saras, loved Kumud without expecting to possess her in the end. He just loved her! Simple! When she was married to Pramad, he did everything he could to make her life easier, not expecting anything in return.

Of course ideally, your OWN life partner is the person that receives this unconditional love from you. That is what we had hoped for Sanam and Aahil and I still live in hope that that will become their own reality one day!

yes exactly that was the exact song that was in my mind and that was my reference point as well... i just absolutely loved the movie cz it was close to my perception of love...
about saras n kumud i watched initially but i somehow couldnot continue post her marriage with pramad so i could not be able to give an opinion on that but i read the synopsis of the novel it was based upon n i truly loved the concept... yes that was about the love the extreme form of love where "getting a person" or having "physical proximity" to a person doesnot matter ... i just love this idea of love... at one point of tme i actually beleived that the love we usually watch in movies is not actually love... a girl n guy wants to be together with each other n will fight the world for that ... is it love or is it just mere nfatuation/lust?? i remained confused over a period of time ... it was like my beleif totally clashed with what others presumed of love...

i hv had really detailed discussions on this matter... but then i quite realized rather was made to realize that this concept is for fiction only ... in reality there r other needs as well,,, n its practically not possible just to let go of love... somebody told me that having ur loved one as ur soul mate it the accomplshment of love not because of only physical proximity but also for the emotional connect as well... when 2 ppl complete each other that doesnt necessarily means its only about the "physical intimacy" soulmates comlete each other at all levels .. these levels are much beyond the body ... so i actually agree... thats how i have been able to combine both forms of love.. the one i beleived in n the one rest of the world beleived in...
i guess Simran was talking about that love which i beleived in...

so yeah for all practical purposes ,,, when 2 people become partners n fall in love whether before becoming partners or after ... they do deserve that unconditional love n yeah thats exactly what we wanted for SaHil... n when Aahil has been failed ot give it to Sanam we get pissed at him...

Prags, for some reason an image of a dog trying to catch it's tail comes to my mind.
We are going in circles love!🤣 About love.
Love was when his hand healed on itself own, after their life altering hug.
If he throws something at her and goes & hurts himself after that, it's just a vulgar display of emotions IMO.

Sim, it's getting too long to quote.
Yeah we ARE going in circles too, coz it's about love you see, somewhere there had to be some similarities?

But. I don't agree with what you said that would be a vulgar display of emotions? Nope.
People display and express emotions in many different ways. People who usuallycan't express themselves by just telling. They do like resort to being angry and crying. Sometimes anger goes to that level that results in crying.
What I meant is, expressing oneself can never be vulgar, that just how they express.

Mischy. Just read your awesome reply. You pretty much differentiated the love of the kinds.
A real love, could may be far far off what we see in fiction. Maybe that's why we like the love we see in fiction, coz that's like you won't get to see in real life, quite rare, very rare actually!

I think this kinda intense love we only get to see/read in fiction.

Prasg, yeah, let's quit talking abt love.
I get what you say abt expressing one self, people can't tell everything and they show. But i do think the outward expression can be vulgar or beautiful. Is there no difference between a smile a scowl?

Yes! I do agree on outward expression being beautiful or not. But I won't call it vulgar, I would call it rudeness or being rude.

Like the ones who are introvert? People do tend to think that they are rude. Not quite easily able to express what they feel. Take a good amount of time to open up. At the time of expressing themselves, specially being pushed by a more stronger force? They might come over with anger and say something stupid and harsh and rude, and might even regret afterwards.

I think Aahil was too "kinda" an introvert, he din't show his feelings. I mean, not much, he used to, but very less. When Sanam came, like opposites attract, he was attracted towards her extrovert nature.
Like it happens in every love story. From every I mean, again, "every fictional love story" 😆

So. He struggled a little bit earlier with his feelings, but in the end gave into them. His introvert feelings, which have been hidden in him from long on, they came out against the extrovert nature of her. He felt like even he can express what he feels!

And I feel when such persons fall in love, thye fall in love hopelessly, and there's no turning back for him. coz thats like their most inner horizons are being out in the open, and they would try everything to touch those horizons..

You definitely be knowing the saying that goes with "When a girl cries for a guy and when a guy cries for a girl?" I do believe in that okay! Yeah I am hopeless I know 😆

He might cry over her, crib over her, why she "left" her but he still loves her. Thats also one kind of love.
