@simran no the contract thing only his mom knew.. He was not aware of that fact that dhe had married him on what grounds.. He was waiting in the altar for nida while having thoughts about Sanam .. He was so surprisedwhen he heard "her" name being pronounced as his wife ...he could not beleive ... He saud "Qubool hai" not only because his mom said or brainwashed but he loved her.. It was after the nikash was complete he asked his mom n got to know that Sanam married him for money ... Even before his mom told he said to her " nikah mere liye aik waada hai jo umar bhar nibhana hai aur ab muje ye waada Sanam k sath nibhana hoga" and after knowing the reality( which was twisted by his mom) he in his confrontation said he dint marry her for money he said yes cz he (loved her) ... Yeah it may be a selfish move but at that time he dint have an option.. There was a whole lot of drama already going on with the deadline meeting n Wakil sahib watching ... He said yes because the girl in qs has already said yes... ( i have watched these episodes so many times that i remember each n every single scene n dialogue😛)

Their equation changed considerably fter marriage... But after that too he dint force himself upon her even after staying so close to her...

Whatever has happened in the past 1.5 month i cannot myself connect with this Aahil so i wudnt defend his recent actions... But his journey till the nikaah n afterwards too was of love ... Pure or not but it was love ...

So my basic point is when he agreed for the nikaah...it was a life long commitment for him.. Not just for any time period .. What i said in my previous reply too.. N he wanted it to be like it.. He did not consider the relationship for the keeps or fkr that matter said qubool hai cz "chalo kuch arse k liye hi Sanam to mil rahi hai," that wasnt his intention for nikash with nida too...

N when he heard it from Sanam that she is not interested in living with him he got furious n asked him out of his room cz if shes not interested in living with him y should she stay in his room...

Man i cant beleive i was quite pissed off with him till 2 days back n here now im defending him... Credit goes to prags handsdown... She has made me beleive in Aahil n his love again

P.s about the spoiler ur talking about i dont beleive in spoilers these days.. Most balke almost all r just speculations based on the predictions which we mostly discuss so i would frst wait n watch the future track n then i would form an opinion.. What i inferred frok the precap is he will try to forget her n in the process he will accept the new girl as the girl whi saved his khandaan ki izzat well in a way i found he was mocking himself ... N i personally think they wont meet this soon ... Their confrontation will be saved fr a later time ... But lets wait n see whats in store for us tomorrow

I was out in the evening, so had to leave the discussion in between. Frankly, this discussion has been awesome! Thank you for this post! :D

So I was talking about the time after that night when he felt something for the first time.

Okay. Selfish and selfless. Lets talk about both.

Selfless. He first step aside for Rehan, thats being selfless. Because he "knew" she loved Rehan NOT him, he conveniently stepped aside, din't even get jealous about that, coz he kinda "knew" she wasn't for her. He din't even try to get her.

Selfish. But after the marriage when he got what he "deserved" right in front of him, as a way to tell that "she is yours" he couldn't help but went for it.

Who wouldn't waste the chance any near possible when a person's love is in front of him, no matter she loves him or not. Coz the marriage kinda gave a right to him to try and express what he wants, to her. He still "knew" she loved Rehan, but now it gave him a sense of kinda possessiveness over her, that he started to think "I married her, I have rights to be possessive over her" His selflessness turned to selfishness here.

But even all this while, he still couldn't tell her what he felt. This directs to him being the weak from all along. He is actually a weaker person here. I always felt he needs someone to lead him, someone whom he can follow, and someone who would guide him.

Sanam guided him. He let her to lead him. He kinda gave himself in, when SHE was taking care of him, telling him what to do.

In this love, one is weak and another is strong. It doesn't mean it isn't love.

See, the journey can be pleasant right? And that's my whole point.As long as people are on the journey they better not call it love. All this struggle and trails are negative stimulants.You can still feel the rush when you get closer to the destination.

Yes! The journey is not love, its the journey of "falling in love" Its not love till love, its how you fall. That makes it more sweet.

But I disagree that struggle is a negative stimulant? No! Its a positive stimulant infact! I mean a person''s tests and how he would respond to the situations when its against it, its the only way to test a person';s strength right? Its that struggle that makes you what you are!

And yes you did make sense! Hell thats why I am still making arguments 😆😆

I totally get, what kind of love you are talking about AND comparing it with this love. Thats totally another kind of love from the love we are talking about here

About comparison, we need to go the basics first. The most important and basic difference here is, Geet and Adi were never on the terms of ego clashes and putting down each other type. Their love din't start on "hate" Whereas SaHil were all about egos and hate.

A love started from hate, can only give hurt at some point of their relation. A love started on ego clashes, can only invite an ego clash at some point of time. You can't expect a smooth ride, there can't be. Thats tough love.

If a love can be "Let it go, if tts yours, it would come back to you" Then a love can also be"I am scared of losing you, I don't want to let you go" This feeling creeps when you love the person whom you have hated once. You fear that what if it goes away from me? You become vulnerable and weak. And I guess that's what this love of SaHil is about.

Like you all agreed, there are different types of love.
