Rise and Fall runner up Aarush Bhola reveals why he called Manisha Rani 'behen' on the show: 'Clear kar ne..'

Aarush Bhola, who recently emerged as the first runner up of the reality show Rise And Fall, has opened up about his bond with fellow contestant Manisha Rani. The two shared a visible connection on the show, but social media soon began speculating about a possible romantic angle between them. Now, Aarush has come forward to clarify what really went on between them during their time in the competition.

The digital content creator addressed the rumours in a media interaction after the grand finale of the show. One of the talking points had been his choice of words on air, when he referred to Manisha as his sister. That comment reportedly upset Manisha and left fans divided about his intentions. Aarush has now shared the reason behind it.

"Manisha sirf ek acchi dost hai. Meine behen isiliye bola tha, jaise school mein kuch hota tha, agar mein koi ladki set kar raha hota tha, toh uske Papa bolte the ki 'isko behen bolde,' toh mujhe yeh concept lagta tha ki, behen bol diya toh khatam, kuch nahi hai ab. Toh meine isiliye usko clear karne ke liye show par bol diya ki woh behen hai."

He further explained that the term was used simply to draw boundaries and avoid any confusion inside the house or among viewers.

"Meine kuch ulta nahi bola. Sabse selflessly jisne mujhe support kiya hai, woh Bali aur Manisha hai, inn dono ke liye dil se respect hai. Inko kabhi show ke bahar zarurat padegi toh humesha Aarush khada hai. Meine kabhi aise nahi bola ki unke image par affect aaye. Jitni image meri acchi hai, utni unki honi chahiye. Aarush, Manisha aur Bali—yeh teeno naam saath mein hi dekho: mein accha hu toh woh dono bhi acche hai."

The first season of Rise And Fall, hosted by entrepreneur Ashneer Grover, concluded with television actor Arjun Bijlani winning the show and walking away with a prize of 28 lakh rupees. Aarush Bhola and Arbaz Patel followed close behind as strong finalists.

Aarush’s clarification seems to settle the chatter for now, reminding everyone that not every connection on a reality show is meant to be romantic. Some are simply rooted in respect and genuine friendship.
