hi soup,

Read your take on "Your abbu came for you" but couldn't reply earlier since was out on weekend. Loved your post and your handling of replies.😊.

I guess the extreme reactions on this forum is bcoz prima facie it appears that Dilshad is leaving her son for a man who wronged her. This bashing will continue till the backstory of Rashid is not shown.

The simple matter of the fact is Dilshad has forgiven, while Asad has not and the forum too has not.

I would like to reserve my judgement of Rashid till they show the backstory.

He can be innocent till proven guilty or guilty till proven innocent.

I go with the former.

Asad is justified to himself, because he refuses to let go of what he believes...does not mean Zoya has to think he si right...if she finds it an unhealthy thing for him, she will voice her opinion...let us see how grey Asad becomes in his hatred...

Yes Asad will get one more reason to hate Rashid ...because another son refused to forgive his father who is caught between two worlds.

QH- may be mediocre- it is an attempt by Gul to put forth her beliefs...that have been formed through her experiences...may be right or wrong...but supported by scriptures- Islamic and Christian and probably other religions too...😳

Shje does not say she is right or wrong, only asks you to see things in a different light and see which way of life is better- Asad's or Zoya's? And of course neither are right all the time...they complete each other.😳

Exactly. ..so I side with what I feel coincides with my thinking more. ..I have sided with all characters at least once..Gul can say whatever she wants to...only I choose what to imbibe...that's that

So, Dilshad should go and get properly hurt and come back for the story to move ahead.

So you end up siding an Asad who will accept change...who will learn that extremism cannot be a way of life..that he needs to learn a lesson or two in forgiveness and acceptance..basically learn to say QUBOOL HAI...

QUBOOL HAI: At the end of the day none of us can change what has happened...and we learn this...

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
