Shruti,

U R seeing Rashid through Asad's eyes...exactly like that. That is why you call him a manipulator...something Dilshad is not able t convince Asad against...liek I am not able to convince you after so many discussions...so it is futile for Dilshad to even try and tell Asad why she wants to pardon Rashid.

Try to see him through Dilshad's and Zoya's eyes...because one day Asad will do just that.😉

I think u still missed my point Soup...I have seen this situation from the POV of all three of them..as I said...I understand Dilshaad and her actions...but I, as a person, identify with Asad more in this case..so I am finding my POV coinciding with his...since it's a POV it cannot be wrong or right...since I am very extreme in my thoughts on love, infidelity and trust...Asad is who I understand more...so does that make me a lesser human being?

Of course not...I cannot identify with all characters at once...I will get an identity crisis..everyone might be right in their place..but i 'choose' to stand with Asad..and that opinion will not change😊..the same way u choose to stand with Rashid and Dilshad...simple...u are not wrong...we just don't agree on this...and never will

Asad will not do that unless he is absolutely convinced of his father's innocence in all the mess...so until Asad chooses to forgive him...I won't either...and if I don't find Asad's reasoning convincing enough for forgiveness...I will bash him too😊

But Shruti,
Tell me on ething. Infidelitry happened...there is no back storythere...it happened..and Dilshad forgives him.. Zoya does...Asad does not. How can Asad forgive Rashid KNOWING HIS INNOCENCE when he is not innocent!

Yet he will forgive..because he will understand the power of forgiveness that sets him free...or the power of hatred that consumes him and destroys him and his loved ones more and more...

What do you choose- hatred or forgiveness? What is a healthier trait, according to you?

So for me basically infidelity cannot be forgiven...since it's Indian telly and I know Rashid will either be redeemed or will die...his redemption has to be complete...I have a theory that Ayaan is not Rashid's biological son...and my doubts have been raised even more since...Shireen said to Rashid " Kya aap nahi jaante ki jis ladki ki sagai toot jaati hai, usko ya toh ek bade umra ke aadmi se nikah karna padta hai ya kisi ki dooseri biwi banna padta hai" when Farhaan's rishta came for Nikhat...so he was blackmailed into lying about an affair he never had and marry a woman he never loved...because may be that woman was left by another man, probably her fiance, who made her pregnant...

I would choose what I thought was right at the moment...if it's wrong, it will get corrected eventually...but I am no Mahatma...I am a human...and one who isn't scared of making mistakes and admitting them

"A LEOPARD CAN NEVER CHANGE HIS SPOTS" No matter how much he repents and tries to right the wrong he still remains the same and the urge to do what he has always been doing will emerge when the desire or need becomes too much.
Repentance and apologies do come with some kind of compensation. let be in the form of emotional support, physical support or mental support. It does not come with further pain and punishment.

Rashid's repentance may or may not be there but if it was repentance than he should not place that one woman he is repenting for into a house of VENOM.

Zoya has no reason to forgive or not to forgive as she was never the one who was wronged. When it comes to her time we will see how she will be able to forgive the wrong doers which snatched her whole childhood.

I am not gonna argue anymore, as i too believe it is easier to read a book and quote than to face the situation in reality.

I agree to forgive is Divine but that does not mean we should forget and start walking towards the next well blindly hoping not to fall in.

I rest my case as . We all have different life experiences and we all react differently. Some may be greater humans to be able to forgive and forget and some like me who are not . That too maybe out of experience of having forgiven and forgotten and subjected to the same hurt again by the same people.

Soup no hard feelings please as i considered it just as healthy debate which may have gone personal due to human nature of defence.

Too the rest enjoy reading this thread just as i shall do after this comment.

Love all and peace to all.😆
