Razia is better cos she ain't pretentious..Rashid particularly grates on my nerves cos he always plays the victim card🥱 Trust me, there is defo gonna be a scene where Asad is gonna grovel for this wimp's apology for misunderstanding him all along😆

no i get that not just in QH but in happens in other indian shows too that is why i don't watch any other show😆i am concentrating on my english shows now😆man i am watching mahabharat right now and honestly the characters there are so realistic everyone has a grey side even the woman...people are not perfect but i guess doesn't understand that...i do expect that in end things will be better but i hope asad rashid ko sunaye ki whatever i can forgive you for everything else and for misunderstanding you in many situations but not for cheating nd abandoning

hahaha...nice rant again!!
When I see the situation created by Cv's to make Asad force Zoya for marriage , it definitely looks like his character is ruined but here I want to look at from other POV..

Because of illogical reasoning it looks like that.. If you consider a situation where its like either Zoya-Ayaan marriage or Nikhat's dead body, then it does not seem that bad.. We logical ppl will argue that Asad could have done something else, taken Nikhat to doctor, given a slap to Haseena but makers showed that particular situation as helpless and according to them there were only two choices, Nikhat's life or Zoyaan marriage..Asad-Zoya would have never been happy, if Nikhat had died that day.. Its creative liberty that writers took and we are supposed to see this situation as either Nikhat's death or Zoya-ayaan marriage.. No brother want to see his sister dying in front of his eyes..

Why Zoya did not speak?- The girl who said Qubool Nahi hai in front of 100 ppl , then why not now.. I think, deep down she knows she made mistake and she too cant let Nikhat die like this.. So I would say, Zoya knew the situation was helpless and she could not speak..

Badi Bi-NO NEVER, I would never like her..From day 1 I had problem with this lady.. And if she play cupid for Ayaan-Zoya, I am gonna help Razia to kil her..

Gafoor- I dnt think he can redeem.. I want to see him suffering and yearning for both dauthers.. But sometimes when I see him longing for Zoya, I do feel bad , you know I am weak at heart😆

This show is getting on my nerves day by day with the characters going dumber and dumber.

Gul keeps on showing Asad as the bad guy and always at the receiving end.🤢The guy who values women so much esp after he has experienced his mom's pain , just trades his lady love to his selfish jackass bro??

Zoya blasting off at the two bros was great but the Cvs need to make a scene where she also feels guilty for not telling anything to Asad and leaving without informing. Shes is partially at fault too. The CVs made her act OTT in the Najran track and made her seem like one annoying and immature child. 😡

Last but not the least im fed up of the cat and mouse games b/w GAffur, Zoya and Siddique. Its highly annoying how they show the two r near and then RAziya barging in 🤬. We have been seeing this shit since Feb for crying out loud

Exactly..These people don seem to understand that grey characters are far more interesting and realistic than just having black and white characters..I know a lot of them think Asad and even Zoya are grey characters but am pretty sure Gul intends to show them as fully white characters at this point😆 The point is lost in translation though😆

Ranji...awesome post.
I am with Ne...I could not like a lot of these characters based on what I read about them. But they have grown on me.

Dilshaad is still my favorite, but yesterday she totally made me unhappy.

Badi Bi - the less said the better. Honestly, she is just a waste of time and space. Despite knowing everything, she has not nothing, zilch, nada...😡

About men in hindi serials - would u believe that they get paid more than their female counterparts? This is to compensate them for their almost prop like usage. And it is partly coz of the viewership, most serial watchers are women, it must make them feel good to see the women glorified and the men moping around.😆 An alternative reality you see.

Handsome, powerful, rich men making mistakes and crying about them. and still loving their mahan female leads with all their hearts. This is what dreams and fantasies are made of for the abla naris of the 21st centuries.

good points kanka...honestly i am still watching QH coz i see this situation from their perspective too...asad was in a situation where he had to save his sister's life and yes i agree i think zoya didn't say no earlier coz she was indeed feeeling guilty but the point remains asad was shown as a jackass to portray zoya as a bechari...i can understand why people did what they did but i just feel that all the learning is being done by asad coz i honestly don't think zoya will learn anything from this track

You know what my problem is? I totally understand why Asad succumbed to Ayaan's blackmail..Thats just Asad being himself cos he is emotionally vulnerable..But he had no right to force Zoya into this when he himself was not sure about the situation😆 If he had requested Zoya, explained his point of view and tried to understand her side of the story, that would have atleast helped in not ruining his character..But dragging her to SM, not bothering to consult her, just dumping her in that house when he himself is totally confused about the situation is totally not done😆

About Zoya, i don get why she shut up then and is ranting now😆

Lol..So true man..Alternate reality indeed..So KSG gets 80K to act like a jerk and mope around? Not a bad deal i say😆In every Indian show, the male lead is outrageously lucky to be blessed with a partner like the female lead..Same old story😆 But am sorry, i'd rather dig a Harvey Spector than a mopey and spineless character 😆

Roger, I'm guessing most of the questions you've posed are rhetorical, since we all already know the answers😆

Flawed characters are part and parcel of daily shows but what irks is that the wrongs are dragged and magnified out of proportion but when it comes to redemption the track suddenly takes on the speed of an express train.
Im glad you brought up Gaffur because I've been thinking how sickeningly similar Asad seems to gaffur right now. You are right, to nullify a wrong you can't commit another wrong. That's probably what Gaffur did in his time and went on creating a bigger mess and Asad seems to have started on that track when he loaned out Zoya. It's already underway... he thought he'd only take her there to appease the Maulvis and family but ended up agreeing to her signing the nikaahnama. This is obviously not going to end with Nikhat's marriage. If Hassena bi made this fuss about this "accidental" marriage, how will she react with her bahus when a "divorced" Zoya gets back with Asad? Will Asad break some furniture then and say enough is enough or will he commit yet another wrong to protect his sisters? I'm guessing it'll be the latter (I smell Tannu's presence😆)
Victimizing and then glorifying the females is something that Kekta started. The trend caught on and worked well with the housewives who then made up most of the audience. But IMO times have changed, there has been a shift in the audience, desi tv/movies aren't as passe and lowly as they once were considered. There is a younger more hip crowd watching these shows now😎 but unfortunately though the PHs depend on this crowd for feedback and ideas, they still seem to be catering largely to the housewives of yore
As for Asad only moping around and crying, I have no real answer. Maybe it's because Gul's previous hero didn't shed enough tears?😆

I think by not watching right now you are doing a wise thing. Atleast, if the show turns around and this mess recedes, you can go back to the show without the baggage of ugly memories. I'm doing the same.
