Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone step out together for Eka Lakhani and Ravi Bhagchandka’s wedding

Actor Ranveer Singh recently made a rare public appearance as he attended the wedding celebration of stylist Eka Lakhani and producer Ravi Bhagchandka in Mumbai. The actor was accompanied by his wife Deepika Padukone. The couple, who have mostly stayed away from public events in recent months, were seen together at the ceremony held on March 14.

Ranveer and Deepika remain among the most recognised couples in the Hindi film industry. After the birth of their daughter Dua, both actors have kept a relatively low public profile. Ranveer, despite delivering the successful film Dhurandhar in 2025, has rarely been spotted at media gatherings or industry functions in the city. Their appearance at the wedding therefore drew attention online.

Images from the event began circulating on social media soon after the ceremony. One of the guests shared a picture on Instagram Stories, giving fans a glimpse of the couple together. In the photo, Ranveer appeared with a beard and was dressed in a white embroidered kurta paired with sunglasses. Deepika was seen wearing a pink printed outfit along with traditional kundan jewellery.

Several well known personalities attended the wedding. Actors Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth arrived together for the event. Other guests included Sachin Tendulkar’s children Arjun Tendulkar and Sara Tendulkar. Television host Saaniya Chandhok and filmmaker Karan Johar were also seen at the gathering. The ceremony brought together several personalities from cinema, sports and fashion.

On the professional front, Ranveer Singh is preparing for the release of his upcoming film Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film also features Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi and Sara Arjun in important roles. The trailer for the film was recently released and received significant attention across social media platforms. The sequel is scheduled to arrive in theatres on March 19.

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is expected to appear in the action thriller King. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand and also stars Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Saurabh Shukla, Raghav Juyal and Abhay Verma. The project is currently expected to release in December 2026.
