I am with Ne...I could not like a lot of these characters based on what I read about them. But they have grown on me.

Dilshaad is still my favorite, but yesterday she totally made me unhappy.

Badi Bi - the less said the better. Honestly, she is just a waste of time and space. Despite knowing everything, she has not nothing, zilch, nada...😡

About men in hindi serials - would u believe that they get paid more than their female counterparts? This is to compensate them for their almost prop like usage. And it is partly coz of the viewership, most serial watchers are women, it must make them feel good to see the women glorified and the men moping around.😆 An alternative reality you see.

Handsome, powerful, rich men making mistakes and crying about them. and still loving their mahan female leads with all their hearts. This is what dreams and fantasies are made of for the abla naris of the 21st centuries.
Is this the recipe for all M&B, Danielle Steeles ?

About Zoya, i don get why she shut up then and is ranting now😆

i agree ranji i don't get why asad couldn't have just talked to her coz i think even he was not going to leave her there..neither he,ayaan nor zoya expected things will become so bad...and about why zoya didn't say anything earlier coz i think she was always under the impression that she would just show her face in SM an then return to KM but when ayaan told her that she has to stay there till nikhat gets married and asad has agreed to it she got pissed off and IMO righly so...i do sympathize with zoya here...she never thought asad was going to leave her in SM and about asad i just wish CVs show exactly waht he thought coz his stand still remains unclear to me😕

Ranji, Anu - if they do intend to make Asad not look absolutely horrible, they will insert a flashback of car conversation during the ride from KV to SM

Thats the disadvantage when female lead is maker's alter ego..😆
Who wants to point out their own mistakes??😕😆

Roger, I'm guessing most of the questions you've posed are rhetorical, since we all already know the answers😆

Flawed characters are part and parcel of daily shows but what irks is that the wrongs are dragged and magnified out of proportion but when it comes to redemption the track suddenly takes on the speed of an express train.
Im glad you brought up Gaffur because I've been thinking how sickeningly similar Asad seems to gaffur right now. You are right, to nullify a wrong you can't commit another wrong. That's probably what Gaffur did in his time and went on creating a bigger mess and Asad seems to have started on that track when he loaned out Zoya. It's already underway... he thought he'd only take her there to appease the Maulvis and family but ended up agreeing to her signing the nikaahnama. This is obviously not going to end with Nikhat's marriage. If Hassena bi made this fuss about this "accidental" marriage, how will she react with her bahus when a "divorced" Zoya gets back with Asad? Will Asad break some furniture then and say enough is enough or will he commit yet another wrong to protect his sisters? I'm guessing it'll be the latter (I smell Tannu's presence😆)
Victimizing and then glorifying the females is something that Kekta started. The trend caught on and worked well with the housewives who then made up most of the audience. But IMO times have changed, there has been a shift in the audience, desi tv/movies aren't as passe and lowly as they once were considered. There is a younger more hip crowd watching these shows now😎 but unfortunately though the PHs depend on this crowd for feedback and ideas, they still seem to be catering largely to the housewives of yore
As for Asad only moping around and crying, I have no real answer. Maybe it's because Gul's previous hero didn't shed enough tears?😆

I think by not watching right now you are doing a wise thing. Atleast, if the show turns around and this mess recedes, you can go back to the show without the baggage of ugly memories. I'm doing the same.

Word..Do these viewers get sadistic pleasure out of seeing a spineless female lead who gets tortured by all and sundry? Am waiting for the day we get a female lead who is selfish and has shades of grey..Thats so much more realistic than the self sacrificing bahus we have on Indian Telly😆
Dude, you really think there is a JaaNu track? I'l never get back to this show if that happens cos i just cant stand Amrapali🤢 That woman hams and gives me a headache😡😆

@ bold-Thats exactly why i stopped watching😆

TBH I am tired of seeing every show circulate around one woman, not that it is not a good thing, but its getting exhausting. Characters do go through highs and lows and behave inconsistent when a twist comes up 😆 But I'd like to say compared to other shows Gul does always have a build up that justifies their behavior or decisions ...I don't think any characters ruined in my view. The only two people I don't think that are redeemable are Gaffur and Rashid and I hope they're not let off so easily.

Ah i respect your POV and i agree about every show just revolving around the female lead😆
Trust me, Gul intends to redeem both these characters and dump all the blame on bechari Razia😆
