She talked about this a few years ago and has been very open about it ever since. I think hers is the Absence Seizure (Petit Mal) seizure. The type where you just blank out for a few seconds but there’s no convulsion or anything.
Good for her for speaking more about it. Unfortunately south and central Asian, and middle eastern societies have always had such cultural stigmas towards someone with epilepsy due to lack of knowledge and education. She’s definitely helping people by talking about it.
