Ok so i was free today and had to get this off my chest😆 And no, this has nothing to do with the current track cos i stopped watching almost a week back😆
Why is it that in most Indian shows, the male lead is butchered to make the female lead look good?😕 Am not a fan of any of the actors on this show but i always loved the characters of Asad & Zoya..Asad a little more cos this was one of better written characters on this show and he also showed tremendous growth.There was this emotional depth to his character which i absolutely loved..And i swear i was almost looking forward to watching a furniture breaking Asad after this whole fiasco😆 But unfortunately, its played out in such a way that the guy does nothing but feel guilty and mope around😆 Haven't we seen all this post the humbistar fiasco? Why is it that Gul just uses this character to shed tears?😕 Why is it that everytime Zoya makes a mistake, Asad is made to commit a bigger blunder and nullify the effect?😆 Its a different thing that i don sympathize with any character on this show but its a fact that Gul has successfully managed to victimize the female lead😆 I mean they'l rather make her dumb and meek than let her have an opinion which might probably not ensure that the viewer's sympathy is with her..That seems to be the strategy here😕 So much for people thinking this track is to make Zoya more responsible😆 Its a different thing that a lot of us here believe Zoya has flaws..But i don think Gul intends to show Zoya as a flawed character😆 Its not just this show..This is the trend in almost all the shows on Indian Telly..The female lead has to be perfection personified at all cost😕 Am not sure if am making sense here but i do think it was really unfair on Gul's part to ruin Asad and make him commit such a big mistake..I know a lot of people think he is not ruined and he is still all sorts of awesome & i totally respect your opinion..its just that i beg to differ😆
Now that am done ranting about this, am curious about something else too..Why is that people think Gaffur and Badi bi are supposed to be positive characters? Truth be told, i have never liked any of the father-daughter scenes between Gaffur and Zoya😆 Am probably hard hearted but i do think Gaffur is a hypocritical ass who can never be redeemed🥱 Gaffur was an accomplice in Zainab's murder and he willfully abandoned Zoya..If that were not enough, he also plotted with Razia to kill Dilshad..How is this character supposed to be redeemable? Just because he yearns for his daughter whom he willfully alienated from himself?😕 Why is Razia the vamp and Gaffur the wronged father?😆 The same applies to Rashid..Am pretty sure they are gonna dump all the blame on Razia and make it seem like these two were puppets in her hands which is so darn unfair🥱😆
Oh and about Badi bi, she has got to be the most annoying character on this show😡 Rashid was blackmailed..Chalo teek hai..What made her tag along with her son and abandon Dilshad & her kids?😆 I swear am yet to see a scene where she is concerned about the well being of her grandkids Asad & Najma😆 Some grandmom she is😆
I feel like am watching a totally different show when i see people justifying these characters..They are totally entitled to their opinion though..Its just that i can never get myself to see these characters in positive light ever again😆
P.S.Really sorry for the long post guys..My thoughts are scattered cos i wanted to rant about a lot of things but since i din watch the show, i din post much on the forum..So yeah, bear with me😳😆
P.S.S. I wish people learn to respect an opposing POV and respectfully present their opinion..Quit being judgmental and stop getting personal😊 Its just a stupid fictional show at the end of the day😆
