You're good with the denial part. Seriously though, had that one incident not happened, we wouldn't all be here. Think about how one small scene can do so much damage. 😉

Violence on woman has been made a joke in the show. Such ill treatment by the guy just gets a 5 sec sorry. The makers think such an abuse on woman can b 4gotten by just a sorry.

I understand your point ...I think they did a blunder with the excessive violence they have showed. I wanted to see a love-story in a muslim backdrop too...but cannot just disregard the fact that the abuse did happen and he is still verbally arrogant...the recent affairs have really disappointed me.

This was a perfect chance to educate the public - a brilliant opportunity to show redemption - it could have had offered to much to the public and I would have been writing at least a praise worthy post, but as a professional in this field, I can't. It is sorely disappointing.

Yep, an optimistic at heart. Since I'm watching the show why not enjoy the Asad Zoya scenes from now, since they seem to have forgotten the slap. I would say it was shortsightedness on the part of the makers and messy handling of the aftermath. I'm okay with subpar quality(body doubles, action sequences )when i know its beyong their means but such blatant disregard of sensibilities is a lil tough to let go.
