Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan repeats old mistakes, jeopardising reunion with Abhira

In tonight's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the festive atmosphere of Karwa Chauth takes over as Abhira, Armaan, Aliya, Lavanya, Priyanshu, and Riyan sit together to enjoy their sargi meal. However, beneath the cheerful surface, tensions and misunderstandings quietly begin to build. Aliya spots a bill on Priyanshu's phone and immediately grows suspicious.

When she questions him about it, Priyanshu dodges her inquiries, leaving her even more doubtful. Meanwhile, Abhira, convinced that Armaan will continue his tradition of keeping the fast for her, lovingly insists that he eat some kheer. She tells him not to fast this time since she isn't observing the ritual herself, but Armaan refuses to believe that Abhira would skip the fast for real.

Aliya’s Proposal Prediction

The following day, Aliya excitedly shares with Abhira and Lavanya that she believes Priyanshu is planning to propose to her. She reveals that she saw a bill showing he purchased a gold ring and a saree, making her confident that a romantic surprise is on the way.

Dating Apps Spark Jealousy

When Riyan requests Abhira's help to get food, Armaan misinterprets the situation and starts to believe that Abhira hasn't kept the fast for him, which makes him uneasy. Riyan announces that he's done chasing love and plans to try his luck on a dating app. Abhira criticises the idea, calling it impractical, but Armaan steps in to defend Riyan's decision, saying that love can happen anywhere. Their banter quickly turns playful, until Abhira, exasperated, snaps in frustration, saying it feels like a relief she’s single, otherwise, she’d have to keep a fast for someone as “great” as this.

Aliya later asks Priyanshu about his post-puja plans. He explains that he'll break her fast and then rush to give a presentation. However, Aliya's doubts deepen, she suspects he's hiding something and might be involved with another woman.

The Phone Mix-Up

Determined to confirm her doubts, Aliya decides to join a dating app to check on Priyanshu. Abhira warns her that it might backfire, but Aliya ignores her advice and grabs Abhira’s phone to create the account on it. In an attempt to tease Abhira, Armaan jokingly claims that he, too, has made a dating profile and already found good matches. His statement unsettles Abhira, and she starts feeling uneasy. Amid the chaos, Abhira and Armaan accidentally exchange their phones.

Kaveri and Vidya’s Festive Remarks

Elsewhere, Kaveri compliments Vidya, Kajal, Tanya, and Manisha, praising how stunning they look for the occasion. Sanjay compliments Kajal, earning applause and teasing from the family. Just then, Abhir arrives, saying he came to return Maira's sports shoes. Tanya asks Kiara to guide Abhir to Maira's room.

Meanwhile, Abhira and Armaan realise their phones have been swapped. Riyan urges Armaan to check Abhira's phone, but Priyanshu advises against it, saying it's wrong to invade someone's privacy. Both Armaan and Abhira wrestle with curiosity and doubt, unsure of what to do next.

At the same time, Vidya notices that Tanya forgot to bring vermillion for the puja and uses the moment to taunt her. Kajal jumps to Tanya's defence, saying mistakes are part of learning.

Vidya, however, doesn't stop there, she remarks that Tanya doesn't belong to the Poddar family and that Sanjay, too, has no right over the house since it's Kaveri's. She reminds everyone that Sanjay once threw Kaveri out. Kaveri tries to stop Vidya, but Vidya continues to justify her statements, leaving Kajal, Sanjay, Krish, and Tanya stunned and humiliated. In the end, Abhira and Armaan agree to meet and exchange their phones.

In the precap, Abhira confronts Armaan angrily, asking how he could dare check her phone. As Armaan tries to apologise and calm her, Abhira calls him unbelievable, saying that despite his assurances that things would be different now, and not to repeat his past mistakes, he is doing exactly the same things again.

Despite everything that has happened between them, he still doubted her, and that’s the reason she was unsure about their relationship. To prove her point, she bites into an apple, ends her fast, and wishes him a Happy Karwa Chauth, leaving Armaan shocked by her revelation.
