Dil ki dhadkan suni...

Rangrasiya rang ja re
rang rang teri sapno mein
...
rangrasiya tu mil je re
kabse teri rah take...
This is sure to set the audience screaming Rangrasiya tu mil ja re kab 9:30 baje... đđ
Let me begin with telling that no other show has impressed me so much apart from 24 in the last few years as RangRasiya has...!!
What first draws us to the show is its excellent cinematography! Well is excellent an understatement? Well ,maybe. Because the kind of finesse displayed in capturing the scenes is unparallel and can well give some filmy ventures a tough competition..!!
Now, to the hype built around the show. Call it Sanaya Irani effect or Nautanki Telefilms promotion or the way the channel had handled the issue Rangrasiya was very much "talk of the town" despite not being overpromoted like some shows..!!
To the story, well I have been associated with some production houses prior to now and I am kinda well informed about the research they go through..!! As far as I know RangRasiya was suppossed to be a "cross-border" love story just as Shikhar was supposed to be. Back then I was tremendously disappointed to know that Shikhar was changed to Kathputli and later Madhubala..The reason I heard was to execute the theme of cross-borders will be a risky venture...Well again with Rangrasiya I hoped the disappointment will waver away but it didnt!!! As much as the hype went, Rangrasiya is not a cross-border love story, it just exploits the theme of illegal arms trade against the backdrop of Indo-Pak Border.
As far as the background goes, I liked the way Paro and Rudras stories were shaped but I would have liked some meaningful insight into both the stories which were almost perfect!
The pathos of a young girl who sees her parents being burnt and the fear of BSD being ingrained in her mind serves well. Rudras pain too was artistically depicted with the characterisitic finesse.
The narration was superb. The narrator does a fine job with the geopolitical designs of Birpur as well as its history, both of which serve a very important role in the story via the illegal arms trade theme and ThakurSa. The other aspects of narration covering Rudra and Paro were finely done. The power which the narration has over the mind of the audience is commendable and praiseworthy.
Direction was beautiful as shown by the various cinematic aspects knit together beautifully.
Now coming to the most important factor-performance. The first thing which I would like to draw your attention to is the fact that Ms. Irani was constantly being portrayed as someone with very less fluency in Hindi. Well with RR she proves people wrong! For someone like her, the fluency of Rajasthani dialect is something to notice and praise!
Another facet of her image is that she played the overtly chirpy and bubbly self in her last superhit show and she is limited to that style of acting only! Well to them my advice is, watch RR.
In Rasiya, Sanaya looks cheerful yet with a restrained demeanour. She strikes a very positive balance between both the sides and to our pleasant surprise the latter facet dominates giving us a fresh new Sanaya to entertain ourselves with!!
Nevertheless RR shows the versatility of Sanaya as an actress and I see no reason in her being not tagged as "The Best Tellywood Actress" after this show..!!
With Ashish I remember, some fans said "a must no to the Ashish dude, no offence"..I differed back then..I can confidently differ with them now! Having seen Ashish in LSD GKD and CGM where he partnered with my favourite Yashashri â¤ď¸ (check out my username ...LOL) I knew that he MEANS to perform!
The biggest aspect of him is his eyes which look dreamy and deep! To top it up, his macho look which he had successfully worn on many occasions coupled with his moustache
is just perfect! As an actor, we know he will perform as shown by his entry clip...!!
With RangRasiya, I have one fear, that the channel is trying to repeat its Balika Vadhu and NAIDL success and is trying to give the show a BV look which is evident in the costume, getup and other aspects of the Rajasthani backdrop, which is not bad until and unless the makers try to ditto the show...Having said this, some might agree and say I have a finer eye while some might say I m just doing Much Ado About Nothing (Tributes Shakespeare ) in any case, this is what I felt...
Now up to you to rate the dual episodes I give it a 9/10(actually 8.7)
TRP prediction:2.0+ Max:2.7đ
