Our serial makers dont know to find common ground and show two protagonists in the same light...to show one lead as goody good they'll end up portraying the other lead as evil. Ruqayya is Jalal's chief consort and will always be and the bond they share is unbreakable.

I don't have a problem if she is shown in grey shades But I don't get the point why CV's are more interested to show her insecure with Jodha. Ironically they don't show much about Salima Begum, who is million times nice, dignified, mature, understanding and placid than Jodha

You're right.. She could have been depicted in a more dignified manner..
But i think with time after they show the love of Jodha and Jalal maybe they might trace back to re-define Ruqaiya's character.. She does have a pretty important role..

Why only later he gave khusrao to rukaiya.. why not other child.. poor woman remained childless for so many years..
