Well according to the Law, legitimacy is only when the parents of the baby were married at the time of the baby's BIRTH! Not at conception! Law doesnt care abt conception! But Birth!
When Ovi's baby was born, she and Arjun were already divorced and ArVi were married!
So u get my point?😉

Pallavi, sorry dear just had to correct you. I am neither talking of Purvi nor of Ovi. It's just a correction. Sorry once again :)

Here goes:

In common law, legitimacy is the status of a child born to parents who are legally married to each other; and of a child conceived before the parents receive a legal divorce.

Pia was of course conceived before the parents legal divorce hence Pia is not considered an illegitimate child.

Anyway I was thinking ARVI split was irrational (why the hell would you split over a silly thing like that when worse things have happened and been forgiven in the family! That's twenty years of stupidity). But I too am assuming that there will be lots of flashbacks mainly because Purvi would have packed her bags after her miscarriage (if there was any).

Incidentally, why the hell was arjun in the same room as Ovi, when he should be looking after Purvi after her miscarriage?

Maybe this is the reason why Purvi thinks Arjun chose Ovi over her?

Hope we get some answers soon :)

Onirfans, i am just responding to your comment above about writing, and not getting involved in all the previous discussion.

As a writer myself, i know when you write a story it is not true that you always have a plan for an ending although usually you do have a story track somewhat sketched out in your mind.. Good writers, after developing the characters listen to what the characters have to say for themselves and move the story along this way, even if if deviates some from the original plan. But it must maintain the integrity of the characters already created. You cannot completely alter personalities, which is what Ekta does.

Actually, even if Zee DID force the ARVI jodi over the Arjun/Ovi jodi it was not because of viewers demands, but because the CV's or Ekta themselves developed the jodi of ArVI as the right one, with all the right chemistry and story, and to remain true to what they had already written, Zee asked them to continue what they had developed rather than change it midstream. (knowing that they will lose viewers because Ekta was altering the story in abnormal ways)

A signature of a good writer is that when the characters develop personalities, no matter how you alter certain directions of the track, the character & personality of the people created must remain intact and consistent. Otherwise you have grotesque and disjointed, completely schizophrenic stories and characters and certainly terrible terrible writing. And THAT'S what has happened in PR.

Ekta may be a star at recognizing good talent, and seeing the chemistry between actors. But she is NOT a writer, NOR are her own writers anywhere close to being good writers. This is what makes watching this show so frustrating and the cause of many of the arguments and fights on the forum. It is so disjointed and confused, that the sensibilities of any normal person are driven to the limit and beyond.
