Surbhi Jyoti CONFIRMS PREGNANCY with Sumit Suri after 1.5 years of marriage, calls it the ‘greatest adventure’

Television actress Surbhi Jyoti is set to embrace motherhood after almost 2 years of marriage. The actor, known for her roles in Qubool Hai, Naagin 3 and Ishqbaaaz, announced her pregnancy on Instagram, sharing pictures with husband Sumit Suri. Surbhi married Sumit in October 2024 in an intimate ceremony at a resort in Jim Corbett, Uttarakhand. The wedding was a private affair attended by close friends and family. The couple had been in a long term relationship before tying the knot.

While announcing the news, Surbhi kept the tone warm and simple. Her post confirmed that the couple is expecting their first child. She captioned it, “Our greatest adventure begins 🧿🙏🤍.”

Earlier, Surbhi had spoken about her married life in an interview with Pinkvilla. Giving a glimpse into their daily routine, she said, “He also works from home, and I’m also at home when I’m not shooting. We’re not desperate to go out or anything. We’re just very happy because in our house, we have our separate rooms. That’s also by choice because he has lived alone for most of his life. Same with me. So for us, it felt natural. Again, it’s a mutual decision. It’s rare, but it does happen. I’ve heard that.”

She further shared, “We also decided that we wanted our own rooms, my own cupboard, my own bathroom, my own wardrobe, and you know, my space. So yeah, that’s how it is sometimes. He’s in his room, I’m in mine, but still, we’re together.”

Sumit Suri has earlier appeared on Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 4 and has been part of projects like The Test Case. The couple’s shared understanding of space and work commitments has often been cited as a key aspect of their relationship. With this new chapter, Surbhi and Sumit now prepare to welcome their first child.
