He completed the song and kept the guitar down and looked at her , Khushi who was too overwhelmed to say anything was just simply standing there lookin at him. She was looking at him with tears in her eyes and he smiled and went in front of her and slowly cupped her face and said
"Khushi !!!! I LOVE YOU '.. "
"Kya kaha tumhe Arnav ??? " she asked almost motionless and Arnav smiling a big smile said
"I said I LOVE YOU KHUSHI '.. I love you'"
A number of emotions could be seen on her face , from shock to happiness , to love , to delightment. But Arnav got confused seeing her eyes , they were brimming up with tears, seeing those tears he moved a bit forward to her and said
"Khushi kya hua.. tum theek toh ho na' I am sorry.. aagar'"
But she cutted him and said
"Thik ??? mai mai bahut Khush hoon , itni khush hoon ki mai tumhe samjha nahi sakti'. Aaj 15 saal baad maine tumhaare muh se phir se who 3 sabd sune' mujhe toh laga tha ki sayad tum mujhse aab aur pyaar hi nahi karte aur mujhe woh sabd sunne ko nahi'." [Ok ?? I am too happy today... i am soo happy that i cant explain it to you , finally after all this 15 years , i finally got to hear those 3 words again from you , i thought probably i will never hear it from you anymore...]
But before she could complete , he pulled her into a hug and said
"Ssshhh' Khushi' mai tumse pyaar na karu aisa kabhi ho sakta hai.. aur phir ' mai tumse pyaar nahi karunga toh aur kaun karega' kyunki iss pagal ko toh sirf mai hi samajh aur sambhal sakta hoon' hai na'" [Ssshhh... Khushi i will not love you , can this happen ever ??? and moreover if i will not love you , who will love and care for this mad girl...]
And khushi smiled and playfully hit on his chest and he reacted
"Aaauuu Khushi lagta hai dheere'." [Aaauuu Khushi it hurts...]
And both burst into laughter and looked into eachothers eyes and got lost'.. They kept on staring into eachothers eyes when Arnav slowly but steadily moved forward towards her. She stood there and kept on looking at him .
He bent and came near her , seeing him so close , she closed her eyes and Arnav slowly pressed his lips on her . She was closing her eyes and felt his cold lips on hers and before even she could realize anything and what was happening , she found somebody shaking her holding her arms and she opened her eyes to see Arnav standing in front of her looking all confused and calling her
"Khushi ??? Khushi ??? "
"Huh ???"
"Oh God !! Khushi kaha kho gayi thi tum ???" [Where were you lost ???]
"Huh ?? mai woh.. " and she remembered how she thought of him kissing her and she stammered and said
"Nahi ' mai.. kaha.. nahi mai kahin nahi.."
"Ok whatever !!! but jaldi batao aab kya kare ???" [Ok whatever , now just tel me fast what to do?] he asked in a hurry looking towards the door while she all of a sudden said
"Kiss"
"What ???" he looked at her with confusion raising his eyebrow and she correcting herself said
"Mera matlab kiss bare mein kya kare ???"
"Khushi !!! obviously buaji ke bare mein.." [Khushi obviously i am talking about buaji !!!]
"Buaji ke bare mein ????" [About buaji ??] honestly her brain was not working , and ya how will it work , when it was going into all La La , and gutter land..
And before Arnav could say anything more she heard buaji shouting
"Aare O Sanka Devi darwaja kholo '" [Sanka Devi open the door.]
Khushi turned and looked at Arnav and said
"Buaji !!!!"
Arnav smiled and said
"Haan Buaji !!!"
"Aab hum kya kare' tum kaha jaoge' haan tum tum khirki se bahar chale jao.." [Now what we will do ?? where will you go... you go out through the window...] she said this while panicking and biting her nails.
Arnav looked at her , couldn't stop himself from smiling and came in front of her make her stand in one place and said
"Khushi mai khirki se bahar nahi ja sakta , coz mai bahar gaya toh awaz hoga and buaji dusre waale khirki se mujhe dekh legi.." [Khushi i cant go out through the window.. coz if i go out buaji will hear the sound and she will see me through the other window.]
"Toh phir kya kare??" she said biting her nails.
"Lets do one thing , tum darwaza kholo hum bahar jaate hai and Buaji ko humare bare mein bata dete hai.." [You open the door and we will go out and tell buaji about us.]
Khushi looked at him with big eyes and said
"Arnav tum pagal ho , Buaji mujhe maar dalegi' hmmm kuch aur sochna padega" [Arnav are you mad ?? Buaji will kill me .. hmmm we have to thik about something else.] and she started looking here and there and her eyes fell on her wooden cloth almirah and she smiled.
Arnav followed her glance and looked at the almirah and understood what she was thinking and started telling
"No no no.. mai waha'"
Khushi smiled the sweetest smile and said
"Please Arnav humare pass aur koi chara nahi hai'"
"No no Khushi listen mai waha fit'"
"Arnav tum chinta mat karo' tum utne bhi mote nahi ho.. tum waha fit ho jaoge." [Arnav dont worry , you are not that fat , you will get fit.]
And Arnav looked at her and said
"Xcuse me ???"
"Ok tum excuse me , what the ? dammt ?? aur jo bhi kehna waha aandar jakar kehna please'"
"Khushi mai aandar'"
"Please'.."
And she hold his hand and started pulling him towards the almirah while buaji again shouted
"Sanka devi kya kar rahi ho darwaja kholo'"
"Haan aayi buaji !!!" and she pushed Arnav inside the almirah and before he could say anything , she shutted its door and made her hair ok and rushed and opened the door.
As soon she opened the door , buaji pushed her aside and came inside and started looking here and there while she asked
"Buaji kya hua ?? AAp kuch dhoondh rahi ho ???" [Buaji what happened ??? you are searching for anything?]
"Sanka Devi tum kar kya rehi thi , kit um ko darzaja kholne mein itna waqat lagg gaya ??" [Sanka devi what were you doing that it took you so long to open the door.]
"Woh buaji hum soh rahe the'" [Buaji i was sleeping.]
"Soh rahi thi ??? phir who guitar ka awaj kaha se aaraha tha'" [Was sleeping ??? then from where that guitar sound was coming.]and buaji's eyes fell on Arnav's guitar and she looked at Khushi and she said
"Haan humne who guitar Arnav se udhar liya hai.. hum seekh rahe hai bajana .. aur hum hi baja rahe the thodi der pehle." [Yaa actually i have taken Arnav;s guitar for learning and i was playing it.]
Arnav was looking at them and was hearing their conversation and was suppressing his laughter , ya ya it was an old wooden almirah , so it was obvious that it will have enough cracks for Arnav to watch this drama.
"Hai re nandkishore tumne toh abhi kaha kit um soh rahi thi???" [Hai re nandkishore you just told that you were sleeping ?]
"Buaji aap kitne sawal karti ho' humara matlab hum pehle guitar baja rahe the par uske baad humko neend aagayi aur hum sone chale gaye'" [Buaji you ask so many questions... i mean i was playing guitar and after that felt sleep so went to bed.]
Buaji was not satisfied with her but still she nodded and said
"Thik hai.. phir hum chalet hai '" [Ok fine then i am going]
"Haan buaji aap jayiye aur jakar soh jayiye.. phir kal Nanital bhi toh jana hai na'" [Ya buaji you go and sleep tommorow we have to go to Nanital also na.]
"Haan thik hai hum jakar soh jaate hai.. tum bhi soh jao'" [Ok i will go and sleep , you too sleep]
Khushi smiled and said
"Ji buaji !!!"
And buaji started moving towards the door and Khushi started following her close to shut the door and Arnav he started opening the almirah door to come out , when all of a sudden buaji turned making Khushi loose her balance and Arnav shutting the almirah door back again and looked at Khushi and said
"Sanka devi sambhal kar'."
"Ji buaji !!"
"Haan suno tanik paheliya ko phone kar ke puch lo ki who kab aayegi' itne raat tak ghar ke bahar rehna aachi baat nahi hoti'." [Just call payal and ask her when will she come back , its not good to stay out so late.]
"Ji buaji hum puch lenge.. aap chinta mat karo.. waise bhi who Akash ji ke saath hi hai'" [Ok buaji i will ask you dont worry, and moreover she is with Akash ji na..]
"Haan thik hai phir bhi' aur haan jab tak paheliya na aaye sona mat ' jage rehna warna uhh ko darwaja kaun khol dega " [Ya ok but still and till Paheliya comes dont go to sleep otherwise who will open the door for her.]
"Haan buaji thik hai hum nahi soyenge.. aab aap jayiye'"
"Thik hai'" and with that buaji went and Khushi instantly closed the door and heaved a sigh of relief while Arnav came out of the almirah and started laughing.
Khushi looked at him and went to him and asked
"Kya hua tum hans kyu rahe ho???" [Why are you laughing ?]
Arnav trying to control his laughter said
"Khushi seriously tumhe aur buaji ko na comedy circus mein jana chahiye' I mean' the way you two were doing.." ['Seriously you guys should participate in comedy circus.]
Khushi looked at him angrily and said
"Ha ha ha !!! bahut hansi aarhi hai.. tum meri jagah hote na toh tumhe samajh aata'" [ya ya you are feeling too happy , if you would have been in my place then you would have understood.]
"Thik hai tum mere saath abhi Shantivaan chalo aur dekhte hai kya hota hai'" [Ok then lets go to Shantivaan and lets see what happens]
"Haan haan bolna toh bahut aasan hai'" [Ya ya telling is very easy.]
"Aare Khushi kaha tha buaji ko jaake bata dete hai' phir tumhe itna drama nahi karna padhta aur na jhoot moot ka guitar bajana padhta'"[Khushi i told you that lets tell buaji , then you would have not had to do so much of drama and then playing guitar..]
"Arnav mujhe sach mein guitar bajana sikhna hai'." [Arnav i really want to learn how to play a guitar.]
"Haan toh maine kab mana kiya hai' mai tumhaare boss ke saath saath guitar teacher bhi ban jayunga'" [Ya so when have i refused , i will be your boss as well as you guitar teacher ]
"Tum sach mein sikhaoge mujhe ????" [You will really teach me ?]
"Haan why not but.. meri ek shart hai'" [Ya why not but i have one condition]
"Kaisi shart ????"
"Yehi ki jab mai tumhe guitar sikhaunga.. toh mai tumhe jo karne bolunga tumhe wohi karna hoga'" [That when i will teach you , whatever i will ask you to do , you have to do it.]
Khushi in her excitement said
"Haan haan thik hai manzur hai.."
"Ok good phir jald hi tumhaare guitar lessons chalu honge'. Now call Payal and ask her ki who log kahan hai????"
She was about to call her when her phone started ringing and she saw that it was from Payal and so she picked it up and said
"Haan jiji bolo ???"
"Aacha aap log aagaye ho.. thik hai hum aakar darwaza khol dete hai." And she kept the phone down and said
"Jiji bas aahi gayi hai.."
"Ok fine toh mai chalta hoon , atleast Akash se pehle ghar pahunch na hoga'."
"Thik hai bye'"
He bend a bit kissed her on her left cheek and said
"Bye Good night !!!"
Khushi blushed a bit and said
"Good night !!!"
Arnav started to go towards the window , when he stopped all of a sudden and turned and said
"I love you nahi bologi ???"
Khushi smiled and said
"I love you'."
Arnav smiled too and said
"I Love you too Khushi' " and jumped out of the window and as she went to close the window , he hold her hand and pulled her a bit towards him and whishpered huskily
"Tumhara KISS due raha hai'." And left , leaving a blushing Khushi as she understood that Arnav had understood what she had said at that time.
She looked at his SUV and saw him drive away and then went to open the door for her jiji .
