AWWW IT A REALLY NICE UPDATE!!

nice update...waiting for their new year party...

OK, then. All I will say is I can't wait for the New year's party! What is Nani gong to talk about? And what will Arnav do? And why has he not said those three big words, yet? And why has he not asked her to get married to him yet?? What's wrong with Arnav? He expects her to drop everything at a hat but does nothing for her! I hope he surprises her and blows her mind away! It's about time.

Part 33

Khushi , Payal and Bauji reached Shantivaan . They entered and found Nani , Mami and Anjali sitting in the hall and chatting among themselves. Seeing them Nani , Anjali and even Mami after doing a Hello Hi stood up and came to them and hugged them and took them to the sofa. They sat down and Khushi started looking here and there for Arnav , which was noticed by Anjali and so Anjali suppressed her smile and said

"Khushi ji aapke aakru boss upar aapne laptop ke saath busy hai." [Khushi ji your rude arrogant boss is upstairs busy with his laptop.]

Khushi nodded and texted him

Aabhi bhi laptop ke saath' phir ek kaam karna aaj raat laptop ko hi aapne saath party mein le jana.

[Still with lappy , then do one thing take ur lappy with you in tonight's party]

And in an instant came a reply

Who told m busy doing my work , m busy with something else or rathr with someone else ;)

Khushi read the reply again and thought someone else ??? Yeh kaun hai and replied

Akash ji ya phir Nanhe ji honge

And her cell beeped

No wrong guess, its someone else , ok let me give a clue , she is beautiful , she is gorgeous and she is going to be the centre of attraction in tonight's party.

Now she started getting confused and said

Kaun hai ??? batao na..

No ' m coming downstairs

And soon Arnav was seen coming downstairs with a small smile visible on his face. He came and greeted everybody and then soon it was time for lunch so everybody gathered there. Everybody sat don , and Payal sat beside Akash , while buaji went and sat beside her Nandkishore and so th e only chair left for Khushi was beside Arnav so she went and sat beside him . Hp was serving the food when Khushi whishpered

"Arnav batao na kaun hai woh" [Arnav tell na who is she?]

"Kyu jealousy feel ho rahi hai ???" [Why ? you feeling jealous]

"Nahi bilkul nahi !!!"

"Ok ok fine !!! here see her" and with that he showed her a pic of her only from their Mumbai visit and then she looked at him in shocked and asked

"Yeh tumhare pass kaise ???" [How is it with you ?]

"Khushi maine hi kheechi thi.." [Khushi I only clicked it.]

"Haan !!! haan !!" and they started eating.

They were eating when Nani told ,

"Madhumatiji humne aap sab ko yaha isliye bulaya tha kyunki humko aap se kuch jaruri baat karni thi" [Madhumatiji I called all of you here because I wanted to talk with you about something important.]

"Ji Nani ji !!! kya baat hai'"

"Aare ghabraane ki koi baat nahi hai'" [There is no need to take tension.]

"Ji !!!"

"Woh hum chahte the ki shaadi se pehle hum sab humare kul devi ke darshan kar aaye .. toh aap , Payal bitiya aur Khushi bitiya humare saath chalengi toh aacha rahe ga." [Actually I wanted that before marriage we should visit our kul devi once and so if u , payal and khushi come with us it will be great.]

"Haan haan kyu nahi !!!"

"Toh thik hai , aaj aap sab saman pack kar lijiyega hum kal sham ko nanital ke liye challenge." [Then today you pack your things , tomorrow evening we will start for Nanital.]

"Ji thik hai .."

And Nani smiled while Anjali looked at Nani and asked her to tell something more , and Nan I continued

"Haan Hume ek aur baat kehni thi aapse' Madhumati ji aaj saal ka aakhri din hai , toh bachche koi party mein jaana chahte the .. toh aagar aapki anumati ho toh Payal bitiya aur Khushi bitiya bhi jae'" [Actually being the last day of the year , they wanted to go to a party and enjoy so if u give ur permission then Payal and Khushi can also go.]

"Par Naniji.."

"Aap be fikar rahiye' hume humare poto par pura bharosa hai , aur zyada der hone se pehle hi woh log Khushi aur Payal bitiya ko ghar pahuncha denge aur phir Anjali aur Damadji bhi toh ja rahe hai." [You don't worry , I have full faith on my grandsons , they will make them reach home safely and then Anjali bitiya and damadji are going too.]

"Thik hai '" and Buaji smiled as well as everybody smiled.

They finished their lunch and Akash told that he will drop them and everybody agreed . They were going out when Arnav went near Khushi and told

"Khushi raat ka theme hai Red ' white ' Black."

Khushi nodded and as she was about to go , he hold her hand and pulled her a bit towards him and whishphered in her ear

"I will pick u up at 9 sharp , be ready." And with that he quickly kissed her on her left cheek and left her hand.

Khushi 's eyes almost popped out of her sockets as she was not expecting this and she blushed hard and ran from there , while Arnav kept on smirking.

It was 8:45 and Khushi was pacing in her room . She was ready but was nervous as to what Arnav will say. Payal too was ready but she was not this much anxious . Pa yal was weaing a black saree , while Khushi was wearing a Red and white combo anarkali with designs of golden . Her hair was left open but was not straight as normal , it was curled in the ends and was left half in frontside while half in backside.

As the clock struck 9 , the bell rang and she knew it that her Mr. Punctual was right at time. Buaji was going to open the door , but then she rushed and opened the door and opened it to see a sooo handsome drool worthy Arnav standing in front of her in a white crisp shirt , black pant and black coat , but his style shockingly was informal , as the shirt was not tugged in and neither was he wearing a waist coat.

She was busy checking him out and didn't noticed that he too was doing the same. He loved her dress and specially loved it because , the dress made her look more beautiful , more gorgeous and now he was totally confident that she will be the centre of attraction tonight. He smiled and said

"Chalein !!!"

And she was about to go when she stopped and asked

"Jiji ???"

"Don't worry Akash will come to pick her up."

"Hum pehle jayenge???" [We will go first ?]

"Ya ' aakhir mai bara bhai hoon '" [Ya afterall I am their big ] and with that both started laughing and Khushi called Payal and as she came out Arnav told

"Hmm Payal mai Khushi ko lekar ja raha hoon'. Akash thodi der mein aakar tumhe pick kar lega' I hope you don't have any problem with that." [Payal I am taking Khushi with me.. and within a while Akash will come and pick u up ok ?]

"Ji thik hai'."

And after telling Buaji , Arnav and Khushi left for the venue which was at a distance of 20 min or so from her place. In the car Khushi asked how everybody is coming and Arnav explained that

Akash will bring his car , and he and Payal will come together , while Nk will come with Anjali and Jija ji in their car and she nodded. They soon reached the venue and Khushi started feeling nervous seeing soo many media people. The entrance of the big bungalow was full with media , press people having big big cameras. Arnav was about to drive their , but before that he looked at Khushi and saw her nervous.

He kept his other hand on her folded hands and as she looked at him , he smiled a bit and said

"Khushi m there na , no need to worry ' just relax'."

And Khushi hearing his assuring voice nodded and they pulled in front of the big door. Arnav stopped the car and a keeper ran towards his door to open it. He got down and then handed him the key and went towards Khushi's side and slowly opened her side of the door. Khushi was still nervous , whereas the media present there , they too were waiting to see the girl seated inside.

It looked like everything was happening in slow motion , Arnav offered her his hand and she slowly took his hand and slowly stepped her one foot outside the car , the media wanted to capture each and every moment and so they started clicking photos. And slowly Khushi holding Arnav's hand came outside of the car. Arnav smiled a bit looking at her and then slowly putting her hand on his arm just like a couple turned around towards the Media .

He pulled her a bit close to her and posed for the media to click some pics of them TOGETHER. Both were looking simply stunning and people from the media were only saying that perfect couple , absolutely made for eachother and all . After posing he hold her hand and they started moving towards the door when the press started asking but he avoided their questions by just saying

"Later on" and they went inside.

Now after entering the house , Khushi felt a bit relieved and turned towards Arnav and asked

"Yeh sab kyat ha.. mera matlab yeh photo pose dena'" [What was all this'.. I mean all this posing for pics and all]

Arnav smiled and said

"Maine kaha tha na' we will make it official.. now lets go and meet the guests." And with that they went inside and started meeting the guest.

Though Arnav was not holding her anymore , but kept her right beside him . they went to Alisha and Alisha smiled and hugged Arnav and then hugged Khushi too and said

"Mujhe toh usi din samajh aagaya tha' that something is wrong with our Arnie and that also regarding you and dekho aaj tum dono ek saath , I just cant explain how happy I am to see Arnie with somebody like you . So it looks like finally Arnav has found someone isn't it?"

"Ya Alisha !!! I have found the one I was searching for so long." This sentence of his had two meanings , one which was understood by Alisha and the other by Khushi.

They were enjoying the party when rest of them , i.e Akash Payal , Anjali Shyam and Nk arrived . They all sat together and started chatting when Khushi said

"Pata hai maine kahin suna tha ki aap 31^st raat 12 baje jiska chehra dekhte ho na.. aap saari umar usi ke saath bitate ho.. aur isliye har saal hum 12 baje jiji ka chehra dekhte hai par iss saal toh jiji Akashji ka chehra dekhengi.. kyu jiji ???" [I have read somewhere that on 31^st night at 12 , the person's face you see , you spend your whole life with that person , and that's so I used to see jiji's face , but this year jiji will see Akash ji 's face isn't it ???] Khushi said teasing Payal , and Anjali taking the advantage of the situation said

"Haan toh kya hua Khushiji aap kisi aur ka chehra dekhlena'." [So what Khushiji you see somebody else's face] and started laughing.

Soon they had their dinner and Khushi went to take some juice and by mistake picked up wine. And as she was about to drink it , Arnav came from nowhere and snatched the glass from her hand and she looked at him confused and asked

"Kya hua ??? "

"Kya hua??? Khushi cmon dekh kar piya karo' its wine'."

"Kyu ???"

"Khushi its wine'"

"Sharab ??"

" ha toh kya hua.. hum yehi piyenge.. 1 glass peene se kuch nahi hoga.." [Ya so what I will drink this only' ]

"Shut up Khushi you will not drink this , and tum 1 glass piyogi na toh yehi talli ho kar gir jaogi waise bhi bahut raat ho rahi hai'. 11:30 baj raha hai lets go home." [You are not going to drink and moreover its late , lets go home.. its already 11:30]

"Kya ??? aabhi abhi toh 12 bhi nahi baje hai'" [What now only ?? Its not even 12.]

"Ya now only , I am feeling too sleepy and mujhe tumhe ghar bhi toh drop karna hai as Akash and Payal are gonna come late at night , and NK he is already drunk and is busy with some girl , and Di and jija have already left."

"But mujhe itni jaldi ghar nahi jaana hai aur phir mujhe 12 baje tumhara' I mean mujhe bas abhi ghar nahi jana hai." [But don't want to go home now , and then I want to see you at 12 , I just don't wanna go home now.]

"Khushi you don't have any other option' you are coming with me and I am leaving right now" and with that after bidding bye to Alisha and Akash Payal they left. Khushi was all the time pouting and was in a bad mood. They reached her home around 11:45 as the road was all clear and Arnav made her go inside and bid her bye and said

"See you tomorrow.. Good night" and with that he left a sad Khushi.

Khushi closed the door and went back to her room and shutted the door of her room and sat down on the bed with a sad as well as angry face. She so wanted to see him at 12 but he being the most unromantic person of this world , left even before 12 and so she angrily mumbled to herself

"Maine thik hi kaha tha Arnav duniya ka sabse unromantic insaan hai'. 12 bajne se pehle hi chala gaya aur who bhi kyu , kyunki uss ko neend aa rahi thi' kaam karte samaye toh kabhi neend nahi aati.. Laad Governor kahin ka.. mai use 12 baje dekhna chahti thi' aur who hai ki'.." [I was right , he is the most unromantic person of the world , he left before 12 and that also because he is feeling sleepy , when he does his work he never feels sleepy , Laad Governor ' I so wanted to see him at 12 and he]

"Aur woh hai ki'." She heard his husky voice from her backside , and instantly she turned around and lost her balance , while he was about to fall , Arnav smiled and hold her from her waist and bending his face a bit towards her asked

"Aur kya Khushi ???"

"Aarnaav' tu.. tum.."

"Haan Khushi.. ma..main.."

"Tumne toh kaha ki tum ghar ja rahe ho' kyunki tumhe neend aarahi hai.." [You told that you are going to home , coz you are feeling sleepy]

"Har baat par biswas nahi karna chahiye, business man hoon kabhi kabar jhoot toh bolna hi padhta hai." [You should not trust everything , afterall I am a businessman ' sometimes its necessary to lie.]

Khushi looked at him and said

"Aacha ??"

"Haan !!!"

"Toh tum wapas kyu aaye'" [So why you came back ?]

"Kuch kehna tha aur kuch karna tha isliye."

"Kya?" she looked at him confused and he smiled and said

"1 min"

And went towards the window and from outside brought a guitar. She looked at him in confusion and he smiled and took out that plectrum , which she had gifted him once on his birthday. He adjusted the guitar and looked at a confused Khushi and slowly started playing the guitar and started singing without breaking their eyelock
