Eight days passed , Arnav was too busy and Khushi too , was busy . They made a routine of having their lunch together , thus spending half an hour together each day . It was 30th evening and 31st finally there was a holiday and Khushi was planning of staying at home and taking some rest , while Arnav he had lots of work to do regarding Akash's marriage which was going to take place on 14th of the coming month.
She reached home around 8 and after having her dinner , she decided to go to bed when Buaji shouted from the hall
"Sanka Devi tumhre liye phone hai"
Khushi thought who will call her in the landline , when she had a cell , but still she got up and went to the hall where buaji handed her the phone and left.
"Hello !!!"
"Hello !! Khushi ji ???"
"Ji ??? aap kaun ???" [Yes .. whos this ?]
"Khushi ji !! Mai ' Nk !!! Nanav .. I mean aapke boss Arnav ka chota sa bhai'" [Me Nk !!! Nanav 's I mean ur boss Arnav's little brother]
Khushi smiled hearing his description and said
"Haan haan hum aapko jaante hai Nandkishore ji ." [ Ya ya I know you Nandkishoreji.]
"Nandkishore ji ?????? Khushiji u kidding me ??? I mean seriously kitne backdated hai' aap mujhe NK bula sakti hai'" [You can call me NK]
"Nk ji aacha nahi lagta sun ne mein." [Nk ji doesn't sound good.]
"Khushi ji , 'ji' bolna jaruri hai ??? I mean u can call me just NK"
"Nahi !!! ji bolna jaruri hai' ji se izzat di jaati hai'" [No 'ji' is necessary as with ji respect is given ]
"OHK , but u can call me Nanhe ' as its another short form of Nandkishore."
"Thik hai Nanhe ji "
"That's better Khushi ji ."
"Ji ' waise waise aapne phone kyun kiya aap ko jiji se baat karni hai.." [By the way why you called ' do you want to talk with jiji ?]
"Nahi nahi Khushiji I wanted to talk with you."
"Ji ???"
"Ya I mean , I have a request.."
"Request ??? kaisa request ?"
"Khushi ji actually kal hum sab Alisha ke ghar new year party mein jaane wale hai ' and aagar aap nahi aayi toh Payal bhabhi nahi aa payengi aur woh nahi aayegi toh Akash toh bilkul hi sad ho jayega so pls.. aapko aana hai" [Khushi ji actually tomrw we all are are going to Alisha's new year party , now if u don't come then Payal babhi will not come too and then Akash will be sulking throughout the say , so pls you have to come.]
"Ji thik hai hum challenge."
"Surukiya Khushi ji '."
"Kya ???"
"Suruiya' thnks.. thnk u ???"
"Nanheji surukiya nahi sukriya'"
"Ya sorry woh actually meri hindi bahut bachchi hai'"
"Bachchi hai ???"
"Ya u know' very bad'"
"Kachchi hai '."
"Wohi ' ok Khushi ji thank you , bye good night.."
"Ji Good Night.."
And with that they ended the call and as she was moving towards her bedroom her cell started ringing , she with an irritated expression looked at it and was about to disconnect , but then seeing the caller id , a small smile appeared on her face and she picked it up.
"Hello !!!"
And there came the answer
"I am sorry Khushi !! I am really sorry'"
"Arnav thik hai koi baat nahi !!!" [Arnav its ok !]
"Its not ok Khushi !! I am really sorry mai uss meeting mein itna busy hogaya that I forgot about lunch and even forgot to txt u and tell u that I will not be able to make it"
"Arnav maine kaha na thik hai.. ho jata hai.. I mean aakhir tum itne bare business man ho phir'" [Arnav I told you na its ok , and afterall you are such a big business man , so it happens]
"Khushi I am just Arnav for you , not any dam big businessman.. ok ?"
"Haan na thik hai'"
"Ok by the way mujhe tumse kuch important baat karni thi.."
"Kya ???"
"Kal 31st hai and office ka holiday hai '." [Tommorow is 31st and tomorrow its holiday in our office.]
"Haan toh ???"
"Toh tum kal free hogi isn't it ???"
"Mai free toh thi par'" [I was free , but]
"Par war kuch nahi '. Aagar tum free nahi ho then cancel all the works you have coz tomorrow night you are coming with me to Alisha's NEW YEAR PARTY." [If you are not free then cancel all your works as you are coming with me to Alisha's new year party.]
"Woh toh thik hai Arnav par hum saath mein jayenge toh wahaan itne saare log honge aur phir media bhi jo tumhara picha nahi choragi." [Ya Arnav but there will be so many peoples and then media also.]
"Khushi toh kya jata hai' let them see us officially tomorrow , aur waise bhi , kabhi na kabhi toh who log hume dekhenge hi , then be it tomorrow night's party"
"Ok thik hai'."
"So see ya tomorrow morning mere ghar pe'"
"Tumhaare ghar par ???? par kyun ??????" [In your house ?? but why ???]
"Hold on tumhe buaji ne bataya nahi'.. ki kal tum log lunch ke liye humare yaha aa rahe ho '" [Buaji had not told you that tomorrow you guys are coming for lunch in Shantivaan.]
"Nahi !!!"
"Ohk , don't worry bata degi , you guys are coming tomorrow for lunch as Nani ko kuch baat karni hai'"
"Thik hai' phir kal milte hai' Good night'"
"Good night Khushi !!!"
And before she could say 'I love you' as per her daily routine , he disconnected the call and Khushi looked at the phone and mumbled a Laad Governor and went to bed.
Next day morning Khushi woke up with a smile as it was the last day of 2012 and she was going to enjoy it to the full , and then she sat on the bed and remembered everything that happened this year. From coming to Delhi to meeting the great businessman and dream boy of every girl ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA , to getting the job of his P.A to their Mumbai trip . Now when she thinks about their Mumbai trip she feels too thankful to Lavanya and Aman for leaving at that time . From Mumbai trip to her coming back Delhi and realizing that instead of loving Arnav , she has fallen for ASR too. Then she remembered how she came to knew about ASR being Arnav , their small but effective fights , his continuous apologies , then his past and slowly everything becoming normal. Then there spending time together and his caring for her . Then her confession and then missing him while he was in New York , their airport hug and the article followed next day , then finally a day out with him and he showing her his paintings of her.
In the starting of 2012 She even didn't imagine that something like this can happen , this year , that she will find him back and that her life will become all this good. 2012 proved to be a lucky and awesome year for her , and so she will enjoy the last day of it to its full turn . And with that she got up to get ready as after breakfast they will leave for Shantivaan.
