thank u so much for understanding my problem and staying with me and sorry for the delay... tomorrow is my mid of calculus and while listening to the songs while practicing. and they words came following and sitting there i typed them on fb and now posting here if u found any flaw i couldnt correct it please ignore for those who are waitng for the update of my other story lovelies you have to wait for some more time so here is the update

CHAPTER 17

She looked from window at Arnav who was sitting on a bench with his head n shoulders down. Grief an utter feeling of pity n grief La felt for the man who was her 1st and only love. First love can never be forgetable and same was the case with Lavanaya. She could never forget him. The man with whom she fell in love and who was the only love. No one entered her hear after him. He again look towards

his direction. She could see the cold outside and saw tht Arnav wasnt wearing anything warm. She found herself in a trapped situation where on one side she wanted to go to Arnav to give him something warm while on other side she was feeling guilty for feeling like this for the man who was the reason for Khushi's sufferings. She let a sigh n saw towards Khushi who was sleeping under effect of anti-anxity injection.

Never ever in his life he had felt helpless. He who never gave his shoulder to anyone except his di to cry on wanted to have one. He who never give a second thought before calling the men who need support coward wanted one now. Oh God! There he goes,he smiled mockingly at himself...''Mr.ASR is remembering God now'': He remembered when he came back inside n rushed towards his room he saw khushi's payal on floor n he felt something pricked his heart but he ignored. Reaching his room he threw every posetion of her outside barking orders to op to threw them away. Only one thing he couldnt remove was her presense her smell which never gone but lessened.He was sitting with his face buried in his hands when he felt a gentle hand on his shoulder. When he saw backwards there was Lavanya standing with a shawl n two cups of coffee. Without uttering a word he made some space for her beside him. She sat down quietly holding out both the coffee n shawl towards him. He silently hold one while she began to sip slowly. None of them said anything just sitting by each others side. La finished off her coffee and was abt to stand up when Arnav held his hand. She was startled and was remained off guard when Arnav just hugged her.

'dont go I need someone' he requested
la felt the pain n helplessness. She gently pulled back from the hug.
'wht have u done ASR? Why did u hurt her so much? She asked
he plainly looked at her with so much remorse n pain in his eyes.
' I dont know.I proved myself just like my father. You know he blamed my mother to having an extra marital affairs and she was so dishearten tht she committed suicide later on finding the truth he also committed suicide.I was a jerk. U know i had trust issues but i did the graviest mistake by not trusting her. I dont know anything now" saying so he buried his face in his hands n sobbed. La was surprised. ASR just told her about his parents was strange but the strangest thing was seeing him cry. She looked at the heavens praying n asking for help for the two people one whom she loved n could never forget n one whom she loved but could never hurt.
She placed a hand on his shoulder and said in a painful voice '' I wished u had trusted her. U were the only man she ever loved. The only man she ever let to touch her."

They sat quietly for some time when Arnav turned towards La n held her hand.
'' I am sorry Lavanaya m really sorry for hurting u for rejecting u. Please forgive me. I wish I could go back to each and every person whom I ever hurt. Please Lavnya can u forgive me. I dont want to lose her. La please''
Lavanya looked at him with pain in her eyes, ''I wish my forgiveness could grant u Khushi but m afraid u lost her way back ASR. Yes she never replaced u but not because of ur love for something else. U have no idea from which hell she has gone through ASR. No one can imagine. I still feel shivers when i remember those days those nights.''
she stopped talking too busy in her memories.
'' what had happened?'' his voice was no more than a whisper.
''I cant tell u its Khushi's choice to share or not to share with others. We had promised her we won't tell anything to anyone.''
She got up to leave when he spoke.
'' when she.. When I... That night... She was pregnant... Ma'.my baby' I even don't know Is it a girl or boy? Can u tell me please."

La stood rooted where she was standing and after several minutes she turned back and looked at ASR and there was something on her face which frightened Arnav.

"ASR this is the reason why I said I wished you had believed her because that night u not only

"Are u here to patch up with ur long lost love or for the girl whom u called ur friend as i dont see any reason for u being here and not near the bed of Khushi who really NEEDS u at the moment"

she was cut in mid when the angered voice of NK came from behind and she turned back to see the fuming NK who was spitting fire both on La and Arnav.

"I just came to give him shawl and coffee. Its..

again before she could complete her sentence NK strode off towards the entrance leaving an ashamed La who ran beside him

"What was she going to tell"

Lavanya came back inside the room and saw Khushi awake. She rushed towards her and hugged her while sobbing.

"Oh Lord Khushi u scared the hell out of us. I thought i thought m gonna lose my friend."

She said while Khushi hold back her tears and patted her shoulder. NK came towards them and held Lavanaya from her shoulders.

"La control yourself"

he told her. she got up from bed and sat on chair beside Khushi's bed.

"How are u feeling right now?" NK asked

"Much better" Khushi told him

" What happened to you when u fainted. Why u suffered from nervous breakdown and that too this serious" La couldnt hold herself from saying it aloud.

Hearing this question changed the expression on Khushi's face from smile to pain.

Nk shot an angry look towards Lavanya and spoke to Khushi,"Khushi you dont need to tell us anything right now. First take care of your health and once you are fine in telling only then you share it."

Khushi smiled at NK for him being so caring but then replied,"You guys have all the rights to know what happend that day and the she started recalling the events of the day.

She woke up early still too depressed with all that issue created by Arnav. The mere thought of him brought a painful smile on her face and a tingling pain in her heart. She got up from bed when her phone rang. She looked at the number it was from Publishing company.

The books might be ready thats why they have called she thought but they had called her for a meeting that very instance. She dressed up and reached at the headoffice of RC Publications. She strode towards the receptionist and was astonished to see the behavior of receptionist towards her. How the ever so friendly Sush was acting all dry and to the point to her. She told Khushi to go to Mr. Chandana's office. She reached there and knocked at the door before entering.

"Ahh Miss KK welcome please have a seat."

Mr.Chnadana asked her

"Hello Mr.Chandana. how r u?" she asked

"Oh m great Khushi but there is a slight problem." He said coming back to professional tone.

Khushi's heart signaled her of some problem but she never let her face show her inner anxiety.

"You know the all media affair from past few days. The way they are showing your past flings and accusing you for being you know what."he started "So the problem is all the bookstores which had previously booked their orders for your book have cancelled their orders saying that the customers have taken back the orders so they don't want the books. So the board has decided to inform you that though we have spent money on publishing the books but we cant afford spending more money to deliver them without any hope of getting something back plus the board is feeling that it might affect our reputation as well."

"So?" even knowing what will be the answer she asked while holding her breath.

"So the point is the board has decided to hand over the books which have been published to you."

"But this cant be possible. How can people cancel their orders." She asked

"you know everything Khushi the way u r being portrayed. People are saying they don't want their daughters to be a sl*t like u. I am sorry for using this language but that's what people are saying" he told her

"so there is no way out" she asked as the only source she had for earning her livelihood was coming to an end

Mr.Chandana remain quiet for some time and then he looked at her and spoke in a whisper

" there is a way out if u like" and when khushi kept looking at her confusingly he just looked at her body and again her face and spoke

"Spent a night with me and the board will change the decision Khushi"

It was as if someone had slapped her square on the face and she couldn't react at all. The man who always treated her as his daughter who was of the age of his father was asking her to spent a lusty night with him.

"How dare u?" she shouted and Mr.Chandana thanked his lords that his cabin was sound proff.

Khushi stood up from the chair and was going to leave the room when she was pulled back by Mr.chandana who start kissing her on her neck.

"Oh Khushi I always dreamt to be with u in bed since the time I saw you. You are a beauty with such a body. Please spend a night and you will cherish it. Everything will be sorted out."

He was becoming mad with each passing second and khushi tried to escape him but couldn't do so and lastly she did what she could she slapped him.

"How dare u I always thought u to be a fatherly figure and u were' chii' don't ever in ur dream think abt it. I never allowed anyone to touch me"

"Ha I have seen that how many boys you haven't let to touch you" he mocked her "a s**t like you and I was just giving you a chance but you now you will see. You slapped me you wh**e I should have known a sl*t u are' get your dirt feets out of my office."

Khushi couldn't believe anything she just dragged herself out of his office. She felt like every face was mocking on her' calling her names'. Every one was laughing on her.

"you r a sl*t"

"a wh**e"

She came out of the building. Still all were laughing on her. The boys,the men,the girls, the women and children all of them. Suddenly she heard a laughter of a girl behind her back when she turned the girl was looking at her laughing and saying something in her boyfriends ear'

"She is a sl*t" words echoed in her mind and she shouted her lungs out

"Shut up shut up I am not a sl*t. I am not a wh**e. I m not" and she fell down on road with a thud.
