Shamsher's actions are justified

I am surprised at the hatred towards Shamsher on this forum! RK ruined Madhu and her family's life but people are still against Shamsher taking revenge. It seems like people want to see the same recycled shit they see in every serial where the heroine is tortured and her family just watches quietly. I am happy Shamsher is doing everything in he can to rescue his daughter. Whenever Shamsher has seen Madhu with RK she is always been tortured and humiliated by RK, so he doesn't know that RK is changing and Madhu is starting to develop feelings for him. Sometimes I feel that just because girls on the forum have a crush on RK, they become blind to his actions (sorry little rude). If anyone goes against him, he is automatically the villain. I understand RK had a trouble past but that doesn't give him a permit to ruin other people's lives. RK ran over a civilian and when Madhu stood up to him he destroyed her life. He created a rift between Madhu her sister and Padma. Then her had his goons beat up Shamsher and forced Madhu to marry him. He made a joke out of the marriage ceremony and after the marriage he did everything in his power to make madhu's life hell. What kind of father would shamsher be if he just sat there and watched? Do we want him to be another spineless character like Mukund. I understand his method of revenge is not the most moral, but his intention of freeing his daughter is pure. RK has done lots of horrible thing, just because he has spoken pleasantly to madhu a few times doesn't right all his wrongs.

woah! well said. He should face the situation, make the money needed. A license to kill isn't really what he has. Not at all legit :P

its more the shock we all understand how malik is feeling but two wrongs dont make a right, rk did wrong everything he did is wrong but you dont kill a person over it, ok he took revenge by shooting him fair enough rk survived but then to try n kill a person not once but three times that is wrong. no matter how bad a person is you dont kill them you hurt them where it hurts most, you find out their weaknesses.

I agree that Shamsher method of getting revenge on RK is not right. He has already tried to kill him twice and now he will try a third time with the ice knife😆. I guess Shamsher could try to arrange the money and save his daughter. But he is just a background artist and he could work his whole life and still not have enough money to pay rk back. I am totally against him killing RK but my point was that when RK was doing all the evil stuff to Madhu most of the people on this forum still supported him, but know since shamsher character has gotten a shades of grey everyone has just started to bash him. If somebody tried to attack SRK he would probably have his security guards detain that person and hand him over to the police not merciless have been beaten up so every bone in that person body is broken

I agree with you in that , I cant bring myself to 'hate' Mallick.. I have always liked his character immensely.. and yeh, I understand where his hatred for RK is coming from. I mean, its very natural to feel so strongly about a man who has ruined their lives by exploiting the weakest point in a man, his daughter.

Up until now, it has all been from a woman's perspective. Madhubala, her mother.. Madhu has been living with the guy 24/7 so yes, as she finds the nuances of some goodness in him, the kind of love hes capable of(his father) its only natural for her to , in a way, to appreciate him..

and as for madhu's mother, she too came around, though a bit later than Madhu of course, when she saw the changes apparent in the man, and the way her daughter was taken care of.. you know, when RK went looking for a missing Madhu, and brought her around to her mother's first.. later, how could she not feel grateful when RK indeed kept his promise and took care of Mallik's recovery..

The disparate reactions delineate the essential difference between a male and a female. Females have a tendency to consider multiple aspects, can 'process' complexity.. not males. at least , not easily.

Besides, Mallik has no clue of how RK has changed. Even today when they show him remembering stuff, he was only reminded of the darkest side of RK, the meanest.. the one that brought shame and dishonor, to the family, and more so, to his innocent daughter. ruined her marriage! that IS a big blow to an average lower middle class man.

So yes, I understand when hes sarcastic about RK's 'generosity', and intolerant towards the idea of being in any way relenting in his opinion of him.

I didn't particularly want him to be shown this way though, a murderer.. and hell bent on it. Its hard to watch , and even tougher to imagine what Madhu will go through, and I in no way stand with the path he's chosen to avenge his daughter, to rid her off her misfortune, but I think hes in a disturbed frame of mind... as evident from his monologue...

I hope though that he doesn't actually go ahead with the third attempt. that Madhu intercepts and lets him know what she now thinks of RK.. but well..

so, his 'frame of mind' is justifiable, not his actions/decisions that result from it.
