Adaa Khan made her Television debut as Akaashi on Star Plus's Behenein: Akashi is the third and most beautiful among all the siblings. She is proud of her beauty and feels that this can make people dance to her tunes. However she never looks down upon her sisters inspite of the attention she gets from everyone. Extremely fussy about her diet, she follows various techniques to enhance her beauty and the mirror is her best friend.

She is now playing the role of Amrit in Life Ok's Amrit Manthan where her character is of negative/grey shades. Adaa Khan has been receiving positive comments for her acting despite the negativity. As Amrit, she has taken her acting further by showing different personas: from the seductive Amrit (during Adhiraj's scenes), Evil Amrit (killing Nimrit), scared Amrit (Nimrit's bhooth) and now possessive Amrit (with Agam).
