CHAPTER 4
Its almost evening now , to be exact perhaps this is the time that gets called dusk . Sun has set down a little before , dark night is still a little far to arrive . The setting sun has left a dreamy patch of red or deep orange in the sky . Sun set in Dehradun looks so beautiful ? Piya was thinking while seating in a chair in terrace . She smiles a little , she did not know it . Perhaps she did not notice it till now . But today , today everything seems to be different to her . Today she is getting amazed on everything she is witnessing , though she herself does not know the reason . Piya was actually recalling the moments she spent with Abhay in college . A sweet smile gets painted on her face . She stands up & starts to roam around . Abhay Raichand ! When she heard about Raichands she thought he would be quiet arrogant , attitude holder type guy , but she was wrong . Abhay proved her wrong . He was so nice , so soft spoken to her , Piya could not spot a single mark of arrogance in him . Actually...if Piya's assumption is right , then he is quiet shy . Piya was really surprised when he simply denied the fact that he saved Ayush that day . At first Piya was surprised if she did any mistake , if "the saviour" was really some other person . But how it can be possible ? Those eyes...those piercing blue eyes... Piya was damn sure that she did not do any mistake . But why is he denying ? Piya had a strange feeling that time , but now ? Now she can understand the reason quiet clearly , perhaps now she has started to understand him a little bit . Perhaps he is reluctant to take the credit for what he has done , perhaps he does not like publicity or hero type image . Piya's smile gets broaden , he is really such a nice person . The more she is thinking about him , the more she is admirining him . She is really very much lucky to become friend with such person . Piya was lost deep in thought suddenly she notices a hand , waving in front of her . Piya turns to spot the owner of that waving hand and stops staring at Misha .
"I knew it , it must be you ! Who else will get such crazy ideas?" Piya says in light tone .
"Crazy idea ? What are you calling crazy huh ? I called you so many time , but you didn't replied , infact you didn't even turn back to me ! So I was just checking if you really exist in this world !" Misha says at one go .
What ?? Misha called her ? But she did not hear her voice , is Misha again trying to tease her or she was really immersed in Abhay's thought so deep that she did not listen ? Piya looks up to Misha , tries to find out is there any mischievious idea making its mark on her face , but no , it seems like Misha is not joking . Asking her now means inviting danger by own . Piya avoids the matter smartly and asks back Misha " My eyes are saying you are very happy due to some reason , may I know why ?"
Misha broadens up her eyes as suddenly she remembered something " See ! I just forgot why did I come here ! I came to give you the news that Kabir is coming back tomorrow & you can now assume why am I so happy ?"
"Oh sure ! I am just thinking how much happy Ayush will be hearing this . Finally God listened to his prayer . Now he will get a releife from your non stop torture !" Piya starts to laugh .
" Ya ya I know " Misha says in fake anger " his Kabir uncle will save him from me . "
"Hmm...don't get sad . Kabir will compensate that too " Piya says in playful tone .
"Yes ! He has to !" Misha & Piya both break down into laughter .
Mid night in Raichand Mansion
The room is almost dark , the fire in fireplace on its way to extinguish , after that the room will become totally dark , but the man inside the room was not giving attension to it , seating on the arm chair he is thinking something very deeply . He is totally lost in his thoughts . He is remembering the girl he met at college . Piya , Piya Dobriyal . She is Piya Dobriyal , came from Delhi to do a research work under Mount College . Strange ! Its really very much strange ! She preffered this small town Dehradun over Delhi for her research work ? Its really strange . And the stranger thing is her subject . She is researching on vampires ? Why ? From where she got the idea to research on this topic ? She does not have any idea how much dangerous it is . She is really needed to stop , but what to do in order to stop her ? Today at afternoon he went to talk to her , to make her understand that she should not persue with this topic anymore , though he did not have any answer if she asks back why . But...he was so much absorped in his thoughts that he did not notice someone is waiting in front of him to talk to him .
Haseena breaks the silence , she calls him in a low tone " Abhay ! "
Abhay looks up to her , again ! Again she has come here ! Why don't they leave him alone ?
Abhay replies in a stern voice " What happened ?"
"What happened ?? You are asking what happened ?" Haseena answers in an annoyed voice " what you have started Abhay ? Do you have any idea how Chand will react when he will get to know about it ?"
Abhay's annoyance too was increasing . Why these people always deliver their speech indirectly ? He asks in a cold voice" I am not in mood to solve your puzzle . Better you say clearly what you want to mean " saying this he stands up and moves towards the window .
Haseena too follows him and stops behind him " Today I got a call from your college . They are saying you have started to research on Vampires ?" Haseena's voice was giving a clear witness how much puzzled , shocked , annoyed she is .
But that does not make any change in Abhay . He calmly asks "So what ?"
"So what ?? Abhay are u crazy ? Why are you doing all these ? I mean how could you choose your research topic Vampires ? You yourself is a vampire ! Isn't it enough to know them ? Didn't you get much knowledge about them in this long 200 years that you now need to research on them ? What type of joke it is Abhay ! Do you ever think what effect it can have on other students ? What if someone else now start to research on this ? We will be exposed Abhay ! You yourself want that we get exposed ?? Why did you invite the danger by your own Abhay ? Why ?" at the end her voice reached almost shouting volume .
Abhay was listening to the long speech silently . Now he speaks up " You finished ? Now my turn . Well my answer is I am not bound to answer you , still listen this time I was feeling too lazy to make a report so chosed this subject so that I can finish off the report easily , ok ? Now please don't drag Dad between all these . I am pretty sure he too will not feel much happier by this, but the fact is my decision is not going to change . Ok ? Now am feeling a little bit tired , so going to jungle for dinner . Please don't follow me there !" Abhay completes his speech at one go and comes down to hall in his vampiric speed . Before Haseena could say anything more he leaves for jungle in same speed .
Abhay heaves a sigh of relief coming out from haveli . Everytime , everytime they want to controll him , everytime they want to make him understand that he is bound to listen to them . Why ? Why should he listen to them ? He knows very well though he forbed Haseena to tell it to Chand , still Haseena will pass this news to Chand as if its her sincere duty ! Abhay stops...yes he is very much sure Haseena will not forget to convey this news to Chand and after returning he have to face another long speech . What will he answer to Chand ? The report type excuse is just sounding too much stupid ! He is quiet sure even Haseena too did not beleive it . But what excuse he could give her ? His brain is just not working ! In order to become friendly to Piya he had to tell that he too researching on vampires , so that Piya can freely tell him how much she discovered about them , why she want to know about them and all . But he did not think what will he say when his parents will ask him regarding this . Abhay shakes his head , its really such a stupid thing he did . He would have thought about a good excuse before specially when he knows very well that they have fixed their eyes on his every move . Abhay was walking towards the jungle slowly while thinking all these . He remembers Haseena said what if anyone else now starts a research on this . He smiles a little in his mind . They do not know search already has begun , Abhay is just trying to stop that search . When Abhay asked her about her subject she was clearly annoyed by his curiosity , infact she indirectly said that what subject she will choose thats totally her matter , no one should interfare . Thats the main reason Abhay had to tell he too researching on same topic and now he is offering her to work as his partner . She asked for 1 day to make her mind . Today she will reply him , lets see what does she reply . Abhay is really praying to get a positive response from her , if she refuses it would be really tough for him to stop her . Somewhere deep in heart Abhay knows she is not researching in this topic just for curiosity , Abhay knows she has some serious motive behind this . But what ? He has to find out & for this its too much necessary to be in her company . Suddenly a bird's chirping brings him back to sense , Abhay looks up and discovers the darkness has started to fade out , soon dawn will set in . Before the sun rises he has to finish his hunt and has to go back before anyone notices him . Abhay keeps all his thinkings aside and enters the jungle .
Its now almost 5am of morning . Piya comes out from the cottage wearing her jogging suit . Wao ! At such a beautiful time she stepped out ! Night is bidding good bye , morning is still a little away to say hello . In this half dark , half lighted atmosphere everything seems to be so beautiful ! Piya inhales a deep breath , feels the freshness of air and starts her jogging . While jogging she starts to think about her coming day in college . The first task she has is to answer Abhay . Yesterday Abhay offered her to be his research partner . Piya is still confused what to answer him . 2days passed away , still Piya could not make any impressive move in her research , may be Abhay's help can speed up her work ? But...if she agrees to be Abhay's partner its quiet possible he will want to know why is she researching on this , what will she answer ? Infact on yesterday too he asked indirectly about it , she avoided that question smartly . But if they start to work together how long it would be possible to avoid ? Piya was so much engrossed in her though she did not notice she has come near the jungle while jogging . A sweet whistle brings her back to sense . She looks around , it must be some bird's voice . But from where the sound is coming ? Piys observes the nearby trees well , though she could not notice the higher branches minutely in this darkness , but still she got sure the bird is chirping inside the jungle . Suddenly she starts to feel a deep pull towards the jungle , she has become too much curious to spot that bird . But...is it safe to go there now ? Piya hesitates for sometime , the sweet whistle is still coming to her ears , finally she entered the jungle . She was looking to and fro for the bird , suddenly her eyes get stopped on a dark figure . No , thats surely not the bird , but that figure seems to be very familier to her . The feeble light of early morning was enough for her to recognise him . "Abhay !" she whispers in surprise . What is he doing here ? Thats too at this time ? She wanted to call him , but before she could utter a single word suddenly the figure got disappear from there leaving her shocked , stunned , surprised !
Hey friends a biiig sorry for delaying the update so much . I know I kept you all waiting for so many days and then gave a short update , thats also not good in quality . I am extremely sorry for this . Actually nowadays am too much busy due to studies . My day starts with tution , then colg , then evening ko my own study & labfile likhna . I get totally exhausted and feel so much tired just don't feel to write after that . Still tried to write everynight a little bit and I myself can feel it didn't turn good . I am really sorry for that & promise in next update I will try to improve it 😊 leave your precious comments after reading friends & if u liked it plz don forget to hit like button 😊.
