Good to hear from you again.
As I had written earlier, their idea of tribute to an icon and ours DIFFER, hugely.😆 I had several points but I let it go, one bcz I did not want to rant anymore than I have already done . And secondly, we can now actually predict whats going to happen.
Yes, their choices of songs are always very cliched,.They choose the most popular and not their showcase work. But then if they do, who is going to sing them????😕 I would have preferred a "O basanti pawan pagal, or Rasika balama, or Tera Jaana" from SJ classical lot, but who was to sing them????
But the part they could have handled sanely was, whom to ask to speak. For God's sake, Anuu Mallik speaking abt SD??? Sunidhi, why was she asked abt SJ and their western influence????🐷 Salim asked to speak abt MM 🤣 What the hell did he contribute? Erm I mean musically abt MM. And then comes the silver lining, Asha ji asked to speak abt her mentor. And there!!!! Less said the better.😆
Lizzi, Jaidev??? Which songs can they chose? And who is to execute them? Same goes for Naushad. Hemantda (sigh), Salil ,CR a sigh for each one of them, from me too.😊
