The ride back was quiet. Akash and Payal looked at NK and Priya and then at each other, unsure of what had happened between NK and Priya. Priya was looking out the window and NK kept stealing glances at her, whenever he had a chance. Akash touched Payal's hand and blinked, as if assuring her that everything will be fine.

Arnav was quiet too; he was worried about Anjali. Khushi watched him and touched his hand, which was on the gear stick. "Arnavji, Di will be fine. Nani and Mami are there with her, right." Arnav shook his head. "I should never have left her alone. It's all my fault." Khushi squeezed his hand. "I am sorry. This is all because of me. I should have just.. " The car screeched to a halt. "Khushi", Arnav grabbed Khushi's hand and screamed. "How many times should I tell you not to say that. It is not your fault and whatever happens I am not letting you leave me alone, do you understand?" Khushi raised her eyebrows in shock. She gulped and nodded. Arnav released her hand and put his head on the steering wheel. Khushi leaned closer, ran her hand through his hair. She put her head on his shoulder and put an arm around his neck and placed a kiss on his cheek. "Everything will be fine. Di will be fine. Please don't worry". Arnav looked at Khushi, his eyes filled with tears. He put his arms around her. She smiled and put her arms around him. "And I promise", she continued, "whatever happens I will never ever leave you. I love you." Arnav smiled.

"I am sorry. I am so stupid. It was just indigestion and I thought something happened to the baby." Anjali said, as Arnav and Akash sat down on the bed next to her. "I am sorry you had to cut down your trip because of me." Arnav shook his head and touched her face. She smiled. NK was leaning against the door, his arms folded. He looked at Priya. She was standing next to Nani on the other side of the bed, staring at Anjali, expressionless. "Now, all of you. Let Anjali sleep. She needs her rest. You can all talk to her tomorrow. And you all need to rest too. You had a long drive", Nani said to everyone. Everyone nodded and moved towards the door. Arnav, Khushi, Akash and Payal walked to their rooms. Priya came out of the room and saw NK was waiting for her at the door. She looked away and walked to her room. NK watched as she walked away; he was unsure of what to do. He walked to his room. Is she saying the truth? Is Di trying to break up Nanav and Khushiji? He tried to remember what all had happened since Priya had come. He remembered Anjali trying to get Arnav to take Priya out to see the city, and then making her feed him and then finally asking her to sit by him in the car to Nainital. He shook his head; no Di would never.. But now the trip got canceled because Di thought she had pains. Did she purposely fake a stomach pain? NK shook his head. NK, what are you thinking? Di would never ever do that. She loves Nanav. Why would she try to? Priya must be mistaken. Yes, that must be it. NK closed the door and nodded. I should try and talk to Priya again tomorrow.

Priya sat on the bed, her head in her hands, sobbing, when she heard a knock on the door. She walked to the door, opened it and turned around. "NK, please leave. I don't have anything else to say. Please leave me alone. I beg you.." She heard no response, so she turned around; her eyes widened. Anjali was standing at the door, with an evil smile on her face. "I see, so you did reject his proposal. Good job!" She walked in and closed the door behind her. Priya turned around and walked away. "I don't have any option do I? What do you want now?" Anjali walked towards her and grabbed her shoulder. "Did you think that you can try to trick me? Did you think I won't find out what you were doing? Why did you think I faked that stomach ache to get you back here", Anjali said through clenched teeth. "Because I don't trust you. But that's all going to change. I just want you to do one last thing and that's it. You can have all your money and leave. I will pay you half the money as advance and I will pay you all of it once you are done. But you need to leave as soon as the job is done. Do you understand?" Priya looked at her, her eyebrows raised.

"Di, please be careful". Khushi said as she helped Anjali get into the car. "Nani, it is okay. I will take Di back home." "Did you call Chotte?" Nani asked, as the door closed behind Khushi. "Nani, he said he had a meeting. I can't find my phone and Di left her phone at home. It is okay, Naniji. I will take care of Di. Why don't you get back to the satsang?" It was the evening after Khushi had gotten back from Nainital. Khushi, Nani and Anjali had gone for satsang at the temple. Just when they had reached the satsang, Anjali started feeling dizzy. Khushi offered to take her back home. When they reached home, there was no one there. It was Hari Prakash's day off. Akash, Payal and Mami had gone for Akash's friend's marriage reception. NK had gone to visit a friend. "Priya?" Khushi called aloud. She thought Priya would be home, but maybe she went out too, she thought as she helped Anjali walk to her room. She helped Anjali lie down, when she noticed that her phone was lying on the side table. Khushi picked up her phone and wondered how her phone had ended up in Di's room. Just then Anjali said, "Khushiji, can you give me a glass of water?" Khushi nodded and poured out a glass of water and handed it to her. Khushi looked at her phone and noticed that there were two missed calls and a text message from Arnav. "Arnavji?" Khushi opened the text message and read aloud. "Meeting canceled. Heading home. See you soon." The last missed call was after the text had been sent, so she guessed he must have called her after he reached home. Khushi smiled but her thoughts were interrupted, as Anjali said, "Khushiji? What happened? Chotte is home?" Khushi looked at Anjali and nodded.

Anjali smiled, "Why don't you go to him, Khushiji? I will try to get some rest. I don't need your help anymore. I will be fine." Khushi sat down on the bed and touched her arm. "Are you sure, Di?" Anjali smiled and nodded. Khushi smiled and switched off the light. Anjali lay down and turned to the side and closed her eyes. Khushi put the blanket on Anjali, then walked to the door and closed the door behind her. As Khushi closed the door, Anjali opened her eyes and looked at the door. She had an evil smile on her face.

Khushi ran to her room. She had missed Arnav. They hadn't been able to spend much time together all day. Arnav had been sitting with Anjali since morning and Khushi had been busy too, cooking and cleaning. When Anjali and Nani had said that they would go for the satsang, Arnav and Khushi had looked at each other and smiled. Khushi had said she would stay at home, but then Arnav had gotten a call saying he had a meeting in Agra. So finally Khushi agreed to go for the satsang, rather than sit at home alone.

"Arnavji", she screamed, with a smile on her face as she opened the door wide and barged in. Khushi froze, her eyes opened wide. Arnav and Priya were lying on the bed, hugging each other.
