My father still visits Jay, they sit together and have tea, and Jay also comes and spends time with all of us. We share a very good relationship, and I am glad there is no bitterness between anyone. We are still connected like a family and are there for each other. When all this was happening, you know what you feel? You just want people not to ask questions. You want them to sit quietly beside you, and that's exactly what my father did. He would sit quietly and never ask why I was doing something, whether something would happen, or whether it was right or wrong.”

I am not saying my situation was bad, but girls are often told to keep making relationships work. And when a woman returns to her parents' home, there is always a fear of society and relatives. Since many people still have old-fashioned thinking, they feel it will affect the family's reputation. In fact, relatives are often the ones who make the most hurtful comments. Looking at all this, I feel grateful because my father never questioned me even once. He simply showed me that he was there for me. He told me not to worry and assured me that whether I stayed or left, my father would always stand by my side.”
