She said a lie to the family about buaji being sick so she could be at the GH for the remaining time of the contract. But what did she expect? Did she really expect that after the days finished, her family would forget that she was married and she will continue to live with them? The way she behaved whenever Buaji or her mother asked her to return back to RM showed that she hadn't actually thought that through. She hadn't actually thought what could happen if the Raizada people called up to ask about Buaji's health, she hadn't thought what would happen if the Raizada parivaar met the Gupta parivaar and questioned about her health, she didn't think what would happen once time was up.

I am not defending what Arnav is doing. What he is doing is despicable and makes me so angry.

But I don't think Khushi is completely innocent and perfect. Yes, she has made some mistakes. Yes she hasn't learnt from her mistakes of lying and hiding truths.

But what Arnav is doing right now now is not right! No matter how much it goes with his character! He needs to realise what he is doing is not making Khushi blush and melt into a puddle of goo - rather it is making her cry and feel helpless. None of these emotions should be experienced by a wife and the cause should definitely not be the husband!

So yes, he is being selfish because he is manipulating Khushi to bring her back home so he can continue to control her actions via more blackmail and challenges. He is afraid to let go of this control. Which means he still has trust issues - clearly not a good start for a relationship, is it?

Arnav is a man of few words. A man who holds many fears.

First when he forced khushi marry her, he feared his sisters breakdown. He felt helpless. And so, he forced the marriage.

Now he fears losing khushi. He feels helpless. He forces her. Deals with it ASR way. This is the chracter, Arnav Singh Raizada. This is what the whole 'iss pyaar ko kia naam doin' is about.
