Avika Gor hospitalised; husband Milind Chandwani shares health update

Actor Avika Gor has been admitted to hospital after being diagnosed with dengue, her husband Milind Chandwani revealed in a video shared on social media. He informed fans that the actress has been hospitalised since the previous night and requested everyone to pray for her speedy recovery.

In the video, Milind spoke about Avika's health over the past few days and shared that she had been running a fever of 103 to 104 degrees for nearly five days. He began by saying, "To Avika kal raat se hospital mein admit hai."

He then asked fans, "Aap guess karo pichle 5 din mein usne kya kiya hoga," before revealing that the actress continued shooting despite her condition. According to Milind, Avika completed the remaining two days of a project while suffering from a high fever.

He added, "Usmein itna acha perform kiya 104 degree bukaar ke sath ki wo ek din mein wrap up ho gaya." After wrapping up the project, Avika reportedly got a two day break, during which she remained in bed, took medication and struggled to eat or move because of her illness.

Despite feeling unwell, Avika later travelled to Delhi for an advertisement shoot. Before leaving, she underwent medical tests. By the time she returned to Mumbai, the reports confirmed that she had dengue.

Recalling the conversation, Milind said, "Maine ise (Avika) ko bhot baar bola ki producers will understand, postpone kar de, tell them you can not do it. But, bolti hai 'Are yaar, kisi ka loss hoga, kisi ka time jayega, kisi ka paisa jayega. I don't want to do it'."

He also expressed admiration for her commitment towards work, saying, "Main samajh nahi pata hoon kisi ke andar apne kaam ko le ke itna pyaar aata kaha se hai."

Milind concluded the video by requesting fans to remember Avika in their prayers. "Thodi se request hai, dua mein rakhiyega Avika ko," he said. He also noted that her new song Bukhaar released on the same day, calling it an ironic coincidence given her current condition. Ending his message on an emotional note, he told his wife, "I'm proud of you."
