Festive, colorful, lighthearted episode today; brought back some of the magic of the family bonding in a nicely decorated RM. Loved everyone's new clothes and Arnav, Khushi, Anjali, Nani, NK, Payal, Akash all looked lovely😃. 2 awesome outfits for Khushi in one day; her return to RM looks promising already 😉 I loved the salwar suit; really wish they use it again.

Liked the small realistic touches; with Nani inquiring about Babuji's health, Arnav hugging Akash after his return from Mumbai, Khushi-NK hitting it off right away, Khushi's face lighting up when she sees Arnav walking down the steps in the kurta, Khushi-Payal slightly on the outside while Anjali-Arnav/Akash/NK celebrate rakhi and even HP made his presence felt. Loved his "bhiya kapde kyun nahi badal lete" to an uncomfortable looking Arnav and his response was ofcourse classic ASR😆😆.

Few pointers: Rakhi is the day a brother pledges to protect his sister but today we saw Khushi giving the raksha dhaga to Anjali to protect her and the baby and Anjali accepts it, albeit slightly unwillingly. Big symbolism here today; Khushi is going to be a big part of the fight against Shyam to protect Anjali and the baby from his evil intentions. Di ke liye, is going to be her mantra whether we like it or not; hopefully ARHI join hands and work together this time in Mission Anjali. I have been waiting for a united ARHI to deal with problems together since forever; can the CV's please oblige😡

For everyone criticizing ASR and his ways to win Khushi with materialistic gifts; well even for his Di he buys expensive jewellery; he uses his wealth; this is his core character and people do not change overnight. He does not think of small gestures to make it personal, he does what he has been doing for years spending money and buying gifts; but with Khushi atleast he is slowly learning and making an attempt👍🏼. He totally understood that it was Khushi's plan to get him to wear the kurta. The expression said it all, he knows in his Khushi well enough to understand her sweet plan and that she is gracious enough to not take credit for it; I can bet we have a cute scene coming up tomorrow where he teases her about it and then gets into ASR style playful mode😉

I liked the whole rakhi tying sequence; loved the lyrics of the BG song esp the lines about him seeing his mother in Anjali. I really liked the small scene where Anjali thrilled that Arnav has worn the kurta, wishes their mom was there to see him; he stiffens and his whole demeanor changes and he says Anjali being present is enough for him. There is a strong bond between the siblings; they have been each other's support system for years, just because we build new relationships however important we do not forget the old ones and Arnav is doing his part beautifully to try and balance both. I loved his almost shy declaration "sab mujhe kyun dekh rahe hai, inhone bhi pehna hai" how sweet😳.

Hopefully the focus over the next few days in on Arnav showing Khushi her place as his wife in RM and making her feel the haq he keeps talking abou; so I think the precap will not lead to much. Anjali will just make some excuse and maybe a small seed of doubt in Khushi's mind but can someone please tell Khushi to stay away from Anjali and investigations; I really hope her good intentions again don't spill disaster for her.

PS: The Rakhi episode definitely was an afterthought for the CV's. First off the abrupt end to the Arnav-Khushi conversation and the beginning of a new day. Plus the whole celebration kind of wrapped up in one episode. I am really glad they are using Arnav's BD in his scenes with Anjali; looks like the CV's have learnt from the uproar on the forum😆😆.

The Return of Aap Bhi Na...

First thing first: It was NOT a Sherwani! It was a Kurta!!! The Punjabi in me is quite miffed at this.

Aadatain agar waqt per na badli jayen to zarooratain ban jaati hain...
I guess we got used to having ArHi packed episodes that it was bit of a let down to not have just the two of them on the screen, but I guess it was to be expected. Happy Rakhi Day after all...But aik chota sa moment to banta tha boss! I am sure it is kosher to sneak a moment with your wife on Rakhi, after all plenty of babies are conceived on this day...

1. Seemingly filler but cute episode with not much but some nuances to keep the focus on the story. I wish they had kept the continuity a bit from yesterday and had shown them in the car or something, a silent ride home. Just so the audience could still connect the two days. I guess the pressure from channel and a potentially low TRP day called for a strictly 'festive' episode.

2. The episode belonged to...wait for it...the costume department! yay! for the most part everyone looked pretty decent. Loved Anjali and Payal's saris.

3. Ramanchi! we sometimes have to suffer through two episodes with one outfit for Khushi and today she got two! I for one loved the suit, I wish it makes a come back soon. I might be the only one here but I like Khushi better in suits than saris, goes well with her character. Saris make her character age.

4. Arnav - Khushi: Not a word between the two but the tension was apparent. The look that Arnav gave to Khushi when Mami inquired about Bua ji - was it a look of 'I can't believe she is still lying?' or was it 'the extent she can go to protect her loved ones?' which one is it? yet to be determined.

5. Anjali - Khushi: Ouch! that kinda hurt. 'Hum kya kuch ziyada mang rahay hain?' Way to stake your claim lady! Not the reassurance Khushi wanted but perhaps the one needed for her to stick to her guns. 10 more days and Di wouldn't have to ask what is ziyada and what is kam. She can spend all the time in the world with her chotey. But in the mean time, let's do something special for Di! Yeah for the same Di who just insinuated that you are the barrier between her and her chotey. So Biwi is planning a surprise for her saut all the while thinking - Di kay liye. Chalo rakhi hai... will let this one slide for now.

6. Khushi - NK: I just love these two. Bechari nari and her sakha! Is it me or did Khushi really need NK to convince the family? Nani and Payal were game but what about Aakash and Mami? Would they have paid any heed to her plans? Pata nahi.. maybe I am thinking too much.

7.Arnav - Anjali: Some really sweet moments, reminded me of happy times in IPK. Di - for you he might be your chotey but for him, you are his mother. If this doesn't clear all doubts in your head than I don't know what will. The guy has just put you way up on the pedestal. In one of my posts last week, I wrote that selfless love does not exist. Even the most sacred love comes with conditions in the form of expectations. So Anjali - kostin to you is, will you ask your chotey to obey his farz? or ask for what you think is your haq? In other words, will you be Anjali Singh Raizada or Anjali Jha?

8. Aakash - Payal: The darn suitcase got more love and attention than Payal. Mumbai ki hawa didn't do much good for Aakash bitwa.

9. All in all it was the cast's day out on the sets. I saw more of actors' personalities than the characters especially Khushi. There was more of Sanaya than Khushi.

10. Not going to dissect the precap. It will be tomorrow's frustration.

Points to ponder:

1. Arnav knows kurta is Khushi's doing. Kostin is: did he catch on to Khushi's immediate redirect that it was NK's idea? Will he put 2+2 together? Harvard main basic math to must hai.

2. ASR: "Gift aap ne diya, surprise main nay" - hmm...

3. Di: "Humain to yaqeen hi nahi ho raha kay yeh tum hi ho"
ASR: "Pata nahi Di - Not sure" - Oh bhai saab to pata karao! If you don't know than audience will be maha confujed! The only time audience likes the word 'Maha' is if it's in front of the word 'Episode' and comes with a rain romance.

4. Di: "tum nay yeh kurta pehna kaisay?"
ASR: "Bas pehan liya di". Was it 'I am still your chotey and I don't answer stupid questions?' or 'it is better not to bring Khushi right now. Let Di have her day?'

My Ramanchi of the day: SKD moment/ fleeting thought: I want Khushi to tell Arnav-ji "Waisay yeh kurta aap per... utna bhi bura nahi lagta".
*smacks herself on the head* SKD say bahir niklo Joey, warna Di aa jai gi.

Ok am back...

First watch I thought what is this, it is so yawn-worthy.Second watch it got better and then on the 3^rd watch I realised I was too quick to judge it, it was a beautiful episode.

I wouldn't call it a filler. It was a great epi in tune with the festival if not completely with the story. But I doubt many people would watch TV on a festival so smart trick for keeping the story for another day.

So well done Cvs for giving us a lighthearted happy episode.⭐️

We start of with Khushi and Akash returning home. Mami as usual taunting Khushi. And the family silently looking on. By the annoyed look on Arnie's face every time Mami speaks, I don't think the day is far when she is going to get told off for her rudeness. Till then, let the pressure build. Because when ASR blows, the world shuts up.

Next switch to Khushi and Anjali. Where Khushi attempts to make small talk with Di and gives her a raksha dhaaga, which Di doesn't let her tie.

But our Khushi doesn't let that bother her and still attempts to cheer up Di and talks about her presents for Rakhi.

But selfish Di, only wants Chotte. "Hum kuch Zyaada maang rahe hai?"

Lady! Yes you ARE! You are asking the wifey if she can give up the little time she does spend with her husband for you??

No No and NO.

This guy left his wife at her maternity home to feed you kheer and you want more "pal?"

You do not bully the wife like this. Period!😡

And our selfless Kushi, still cares for stuck up Di, and sets to give her a perfect RB, plans to dress up said hubby in Di's pyaar bhara kurta pyjama.

I personally like apna ASR in his suits and do not like the skinny legs on him. No thank you Puhleez. Give me those shiny suits. Dhanyavaad.

Although he did look cute though. 😳But this was ok for a blue moon. Di ke liye.

So perfect Rakhi with Di and her 3 bro's. And still Di wants more.

Add in the perfect song and we have a beautiful celebration.

The Gupta girls looked absolutely stunning today. Especially Khushi in the saree. Yes the blouse was recycled but maaf kiya Cvs, at least we got 2 new outfits today.👏

Later Arnav calls Khushi, who is out being the mahaanta she is and doing Di seva.

I don't think there is much to the precap though, just a suspicious Khushi, who will forget she even saw Di because when she gets home we have an ASR lying in wait to give us another Rabba Ve.

Yes I firmly believe we have a Rabba Ve tomorrow. And yes SKD is intact.😍

So I called the Bhai up and told him "tum maine diya hua kurta pehno". 😃He said that might be difficult considering his wife's love has increased his gravitational pull. I said "hamere Bade ab hamare nahi rahe" 😭 . He said I should lay off the Vallium. 😡

Sari, LG will prove to be a great husband of course with an attitude... He has started it already by telling HP to call Khushi. May be he wants her help to remove that sherwani 😳
