NEW YORK, largest city in US. Home of 8 Million people n almost 1,600,000 INDIANS.


The sun rose in 'Indian New York' colony. Thats what the people living here call it. Well all are not Indians but most families living in this locality are Indians.

Meera entered the room fully dressed up.



Meera- Get up Geet. Its alread 8. I don't want to be late on my 1st day of MBA.
Meera quited on becoming a scientist as her father wanted her to join him in business. Meera agreed n never mind she was business minded since her birth.

Geet was in her dreamland. Meera drew the curtains and fresh sunlight adorned Geet's face.



Geet Cheekly smiles in her sleep.
Oh no Mr. Cruz i am not that beautifull

Meera shook her hard n Geet snapped opened her eyes.
Aah Meera kya kiya? I was having such a nice dream. Tom Cruz was saying that I am the most beautifull girl in this whole world. Hayeee!!
Meera- Ask your Mr. Cruz to wait as today is an important day. Get ready. You also have concert today right.
Saying this Meera left for breakfast.

She quickly ran towards bathroom , she came out in bathrob. Geet wore a cool short skirt, pink top n a furry sleveless jacket over it. She did her make up.
Aaj 5-6 ladke toh gaye
she said winking at her reflection.


Geet n Meera completed their schooling in London. After that Meera wanted to continue her studies in New York n Geet followed her as she did'nt knew what she wanted. Meera's n Geet's dads allowed them only on condition that they had live with Geet's beeji. Geet n Meera completed their undergraduate in New York and now they are going to do their MBA from same college.

Geet came out, Meera was having her breakfast while Beeji was serving.

She said to beeji.
Beeji held Geet's ear.
Beeji- Babes ki bacchi. Koi pehle din late karta hai kya.
Then her eyes went to Geet's cloths.
Beeji- Hey babaji inne chote kapde.

Geet retorted- Its Faaashion beeji. Btw I wore this jacket only for you. Kaho toh utaar du.
Beeji- Nai Nai. Chal ab jaldi kha le.

Geet saw Meera had finished her breakfast. She got a chance to escape.
nai beeji I wont eat.
Meera started leaving n Geet ran behind her.
Beeji- Juice pe le
Geet quickly came, gulped her juice in one go n ran out.

Beeji- Beta toast.
Geet- Ooffoo dieting beeji.
Beeji- yeh ladkiyan... Tu Mahi se kuch sikh
Geet shouted- Mahi se sikhugi toh uski tarah hi ho jaogi
with this Meera n Geet sat in car. Geet on passenger seat n Meera on driver.

Mahi se yaad aaya. Usse nai lena?
Meera- she has already gone
Geet scratching her head
aaj wo jaldi chali gai
Meera- wo jaldi nai gai we are late

Mahi lives in their nabourhood. She works in her Mom's restaurant. Her restaurant comes in the way of college so mostly Meera n Geet drops her there.

Meera started the car.
Wo dekho pammi aunty. She must be going to beeji with her gossip ka pitaara

Geet peeked her head out of window.
kali teri choti di paranda tera lal ni roop di aa raaniyan parande nu sambhalni
She sang on top of her voice mocking Pammi Aunty.

Pammi Aunty is Mahi's mom. You will always find her in full make up n heavy jewellery total daily soap style.

Pammi aunty- Hai hai yeh aaj kal k bacche.
She said twisting her lips.
The car zoomed pass her n Geet thumped on her seat laughing loud.
Meera- You seriously need mental check up.
