😕 I have a gym membership, but hardly use it. It is tough going to the gym and staying dedicated. If any of you go to the gym, is it fun or torture? Please share your thoughts. 😊

It depends on your thinking. Sometimes its too much hard work and you lose your dedication. But people that wanna stay healthy, be in shape, or wanna build up they wouldnt find Gym torture at all. They know what they want and they will accomplish no matter what and never give up!

You need the motivation to stay healthy and be on fit form. Some people starts very heavy and loose their motivation. and its not good to postpone as you will end up postpone it from day to day. Start with activities you like to do and try out other methods later on and maybe it will be fun to go with a friend or relative.

Um, maybe because there are no Elixirs of Life around. 😳

Gym's not fun for all those who don't like moving too much. But it is essentially the spirit to turn healthy or remain healthy, whatever your state is which will propel you to go to the gym. It really takes time getting used, having to get yourself out of comfy couches takes years, but then it comes around. Try going to the gym, at least once a week, there.

so this is what people refer to as "hot bod" (i mean the picture on right). 175 lbs is ideal weight for person around 6 feet.
@ topic. i can't asnwer since i don't go to gym. lol
however i strongly recommend people to do exercise at home or in gym. If you exercise regularly you can be flexible with what you eat. Important thing is to burn what you eat with exercise.
bottom line: exercise > dieting

I prefer light exercises rather than heavy ones.
ONe of the best is of course swimming and walking briskly.
Carrying some light weights is good, but in lifting anything heavy one has to take precautions not to hurt the back. Slip disks are way too common.
