It seems to be just a small short to make a point about Alia's international recognition... I won't take a too serious.

Days before a fashion week,Met Gala.. Korean,Chinese,even Thai fans start trends on SM.They get so excited and have huge fanbases. Cannes is not on their list. Apart from senior superstars,and competors,Cannes pay a few big names to walk the carpet.

This year,the war has taken its toll,there is less money too.The opening day was lackluster. Festival should have started with a bang. HW presence and premieres is at the lowest.

But why would AB be internationally recognized? She did 1 HW movie heart of stone which got a disastrous response..RRR happens to be her only Indian movie which gained global recognition where she was barely for 5min. She has a solid body of work in India but i doubt people globally know her other than Indians, Pakistanis and South asians living in their countries/abroad..i doubt an average American not linked to the sub-continent ever having heard of AB..which is fine..coz not everyone can be a global star..

Yes, I saw that... I suppose other stars at the right and left where more known

however, it's just her second appearance for l'Oréal at Cannes... such things take time...

It's not like with Aish who made a grand entry with ShahRukh a n d the movie a n d her gorgeous sari (without already being there for L'Oréal).

She's not pretty enough to stand out, very average looking. Not famous enough to stand out. She has no X factor so it is what it is.
