Oh yeah I forgot that Asin was not really a new actresses. In that case the awards were unfair to Anu. And Asin wasn't even that great in Ghajini...she was overracting too.

Hopefully they don't rob Ranveer from his awards either. He needs to win one.

^^true that...i loved asin in the original version of ghajini (she was purrfect there) but in the hindi version it was like cringe cringe cringe!!! the only scene i liked her acting in was the death scene....apart from that...she was going OTT for most of the time...

anywayz....but then i thought anu was too bland in RNBDJ....maybe tht was her character....but she didnt really need to perform much there...just stand there, luk pretty, cry a lil, dance a lot...dunno....i didnt think much of her during her RNBDJ days

IMO she deserved the Best Debut Award purely because Asin is NOT a newcomer! She's been in the industry for 6 years and obviously has MUCH MORE experience and KNOWLEDGE about this art.
And secondly,Anushka for a DEBUTANTE was very much natural and convincing.

Omg. .Tats not fair at al. . I jus cant take it. .Asin deserved d best actress award but eventually it went to priyanka and wat if she was acting fr more tan 6 yrs before ghajini. . Bollywood is something new fr her and she managed quite wel and ma goodness how could sum1 say tat she was over acting. . .U al might be fans of Anuska, but its really not fair to comment abt Asin like tis. . No one can excel tat wel as kalpana. .She was jus mind blowing. . .If she was excellent in tamil ghajini, she was actually out of d world in d hindi version. . Jus perfect. . She made us laugh, smile, admire and she even made few to be jellous like u guys and tat Anuska and finally towards d end of d movie she made us feel fr her and even made us cry. . .Asin rocks fr ever. . .

I like Asin but I do have to say Anushka should have won the award because she was new whereas Asin already did south films and it was unfair they gave all the awards to her and not Anushka, she was overacting a bit I agree 🤣

Ranveer should win as well he was too good
