I don't hate Shweta, I don't even know Shweta Tiwari! Why would I hate her? I don't have a problem with Shweta on the show either, but what I do have a problem with is her fans who put her up on this high pedestal and expect everyone to bow down in worship. That is something I, personally, cannot stand no matter who the celebrity is - I've seen the same kind of worship for many celebrities on this forum, including Shweta Tiwari, Karan Singh Grover among many others.
I supported Shweta Tiwari when Dolly started her character assassination on her and I still do. I don't think its fair for anyone to question anyone's character like that on national television. That said, I also criticized Shweta when she allowed Sameer to take a stand for her and then even be punished for it without properly supporting him like she said she would. She made all those claims about her zameer and this and that and then she just let Sameer take her zameer with him as he exited the house. Friends don't do that. Its so obvious that Shweta is in the competition to win, but so is everyone else. Why do Shweta Tiwari fans think she's better than everyone? She's not. She's a normal human being with strengths and weaknesses just like everyone else.
As far as why a lot of us don't praise Shweta ... well the answer is pretty simple. Her fans do that enough on the forum for the rest of us. I honestly get tired of how people sing her praises in this section, and I'd much rather not hear any more of that.
To clarify, when I say Shweta Tiwari fans, I do not mean all her fans are the same way. I'm sure there are some sane ones out there, problem is that most that I've come across are not. They also have this ambition to support Shweta Tiwari "no matter what" ... which is personally something I don't understand. How can you like or revere someone so much that you are willing to support them even when they're clearly wrong? This blind worship falls nothing short of idiotic in my eyes.
I do see problems with Shweta Tiwari. Although I cannot stand either, Manoj Tiwari and Veena Malik's speculations about ST have been pretty accurate. Tiwari said that Shweta uses other people's shoulders to fire her gun and Veena Malik, in today's episode, says that Shweta feels that everyone should suddenly intervene in her fights and support her and she makes her arguments a lot more bigger than they really need to be. Other people have also gotten into fights in the BB house, but Shweta's fights are always a source of more hoopla than any other. Despite that, she carries this holier than thou attitude that really bothers me.
Having said that, despite it all, Shweta Tiwari is a decent, well mannered and cultured woman. She is pretty and her fan base makes sense. I don't know anything about her as an actress, but I'm sure she's good at what she does. Giving her the benefit of doubt here.
My request to some of her more ardent fans on the forum is to stop being so obnoxious and please realize that most of us come here to discuss the show and its many contestants and not just Shweta Tiwari alone. Blindly supporting and marketing her everywhere doesn't do anyone any good. Being a fan is fine, just be a tad bit more logical and have a more open mind towards other people's opinions and refrain from calling people names and engaging in personal attacks - be it in their signatures or openly in their posts on the forum.
Editing to add that labeling people who criticize Shweta Tiwari as Dolly fans is another extremely idiotic behavior that some members on the forum have been engaging in.
