Round 2: Shaan

The music of 3 idiots is decent-that which pleases all and offends none, and same goes for this track. Shaan is his usual self, and he sings with elan, because this song is tailormade for him.

But the competition is tough and the song has everything-good melody, good vocals, good tempo, nice variations but just falls short in conveying that feel to the end listener. Simply because the composition does not sound difficult.

The song starts in a decent note, with shaan's superb smiley singing being instantly recognizable at his high notes, perfect. the soothing background music being another plus. The middle portions do tend to become boring because of the singing being too slow paced, but more than make up for immense hard work put in by shaan in terns of voice clarity and tonal quality. the end, however isnt exactly not too convincing and some feel plus modulation could have been added to look like the track is engine, especially if this a romantic genre.

But somehow this track does not connect with the listener and requires some more listening for it, but it just comes, and goes and fails to get noticed.

Leaving that aside, its another great all round neat performance by shaan, decent song that should please all with his sweet and melodious voice.

Shaaaaaaaan - I love his voice 😍

Great job done by shaan, but i dont know how good it is for a competition. Actually one thing I dislike about the song is the way the word "Bheti" is stretched, it sounds a bit unplesant to ears. Otherwise the song is really nice & hummable.

I am confused between an 8 & 9. I loved all songs from 3 idiots, wonderful compositions by Shantanu moitra. Now coming back to Shaan, one thing about his voice is that its really sweet & boyish. There are a few portions in between which do sound boring but Shaan has put in all efforts to make the song work :)

7/10, I really like Shaan as a singer but I dont quite like this song, its not his best for sure.
