Dear friends, I have things to say and I start with a sigh.
Maybe it the right time to tell you all that I was all along clear about the "roop" sequence. That is why I have no complain about it. The song itself justifies whatever they wanted to portray. They never intended to show anything intense, sweet, romantic or passionate. Rather wanted to show "common mistakes/incidents" and that's what they pictured and that's why this song. The team knows how to picture all kinds of emotions very well. All the song adopted in this show so far reflected the feelings of the performers and so did this one. This "roop" sequence is just another situation like the "hum tum" episode. But this time things got a little intimate only because their relationship status has been upgraded since then. So doodle don't worry, your parineeta methaphor is not completed yet. And when it takes place you'll get the most romantic song. You'll know when its coming by the song itself! Or if they decide to complete it in Monday then you'll get your "ooo" wala mahi tune for sure!
Now about geet, she is just a representative of the mistake of the whole team. I feel like going back to my confession story. Maan-geet on the river of confession on a boat of faith where silly geet kept making holes on the boat and now its drowning; and with her the whole team. After they drown, there will be all confessions but no life. Some people's learning starts in the grave! Poor souls!
I always comprehend what the team is showing but I never understand why? I asked Mr. nissar "why"? I know there will be no answer but I so wanted to ask that! Starting from the truth revelation scene, if the team had every intension to unite them the next moment in the station then why not at the real moment in the conference room? Why couldn't maan console her then and say that she has got one "friend" (not lover) and that is maan? If they did that, then today geet's doubt would have been logical. They ruined maan's character then by a pathetic statement then made up forcefully and now ruined geet's character with another pathetic sentence and I really wonder what's in store for us on Monday.
Doodle says that Mr. Nissar is an expert in drawing circles, its his favourite shape that makes him different from the other directors. Where other directors keep drawing triangles our G-Team draws circles. I think this is the reason why geet and maan always end up in square 1, because they are actually running in circles. So to make something "a whole" Mr Nissar needs to draw the shape of yin-yang and not just circles. He needs to draw inside the circle too.
Ironically the day doodle started having complete faith in mr. nissar, things started to get messy. All of a sudden the editors were on an editing spree, story started to lose consistency. Before her total faith in him and when she used to say "disgusting nissar", there never lacked consistency. Some bloopers were there but not ambiguity.
Finally once again, I have no complain about the roop sequence neither do I have any complains about the other parts of the episode. I only wonder who's writing the story nowadays! All of a sudden they fly to manali, all of a sudden a client gets geet engaged in a marketplace, all of a sudden maan gets over geet…………Why? Who really asked for a pre make out scene for no good reasons? Why rush? What's going on? Something very wrong is going on out there and the show may be losing a huge number of viewers soon if it keeps going on this way. Geet team, plz note that we love this show for the storyline and the performance of the whole team. We love it because of all the hindi serials, this one makes sense. If you're trying to take the "sense" away then you are no different than the others. I am utterly shocked. Whoever interfering in the story and in the execution is doing a bad job and making a huge mistake. I wish I could save the show.
Prayers, prayers and prayers……

MAAN SINGH KHURANA'S FINACEE MISSING
Geet Handa- Fiancee of Maan Singh Khurana, MD of Khurana Construction has been reported as missing since last Friday night. She was last seen at 9:40PM. 24, September, 2010 roaming around the Manali market buying bangles. She is described as fair female, 5'4", 110lbs, slim build, brown eyes and long brown hair. She was wearing a yellow salwar kameez and chappal.
She is diagnosed to be suffering from amnesia and she needs to be reminded of her status of life everyday. Without it she is always in doubt and at times completely lost. Anyone who may have had contact with geet are requested to check the following things once they meet her.
1. Ask her anything, if she denies, then maybe you're close.
2. Make a statement and ask her to say it back after 10 mins. If she forgets, then positive.
3. Show her something genuine and ask for her opinion. If she replies "fake" then its definitely her.
4. Ask her to walk anywhere indoor; if her dupatta gets stuck then your good luck brought you to the right person.
5. Ask her where she wanna be? If the reply is "square 1" then immediately contact the following address.
Maan Singh Khurana
Outhouse (tabela)
Delhi.
Avoid contacting:
1. Khurana Construction (Dev is there) and
2. Hoshiarpur
Anybody with any information about her whereabouts will be highly compensated.
Caution: Do not by mistake touch her dupatta, it turns her on and only Mr. Maan knows where the switch off button is.
Here's my take....its also on pg. 1
Hello darlings!!! I was in a very bad mood about today's episode today. But after careful consideration I have come to a verdict. The episode was okay. It could have been much better, but it was not all bad.
Things I liked.....
1. The bench scene. Do I even need to explain why? This was much better than the song sequence.
2. "Roop tera mastana" , yes I said I liked it, but you messed up here CV's. I did not love it as much as I did with all the other romantic sequences you created. It was not good enough and you did not live up to the expectations. Very poor execution and yes I noticed that there was scenes chopped off by the editor. There was something missing. This could have been executed in a much better fashion. And its obvious the channel is giving in to the demands of those political/social groups. How pathetic! These people don't watch your show, we do! Please explain why your trying to satisfy them, instead of us.
Things I did not like at all....
1. Maan and Geet bickering the in the beginning. I did not like it especially because Maan had finally told her she was "his". Geet was actually happy and smiling, then today's epi begins and we get a 360 turn on her part.
2. Geet still thinking their engagement was fake. Ermmm'.what more does Maan need to say to convince her? Yes I understand she wants clarification, but how about asking him "where exactly is our relationship standing?", instead of acting like a 5 year old. I also get that she's annoyed with his over protectiveness and controlling nature, but that was the wrong time to bring that up. She needs to do things in a mature manner. Stop ruining her character with all this juvenile non sense.
3. Maan being mean to her and telling her to go to Bunty. He provoked her to answer back with immaturity. Once again this was not the time. Maan needs to stop talking to her so rudely. She's his fiance now and he needs to respect her more and stop being so controlling. At that moment he needed to tell her that he really considers her his fiance not argue back. Its called damage control!
Now Cv's and Star One needs to do some serious damage control next week.
What we should have seen.....
1. Geet giving Maan a hug or kiss for finally saying "sirf mere"
2. Maan and Geet have a heart to heart conversation on their relationship status.
3. Both of them declaring that they love each other.
4. Both of them declaring that their engagement was in fact real.
5. Then go to the cottage and get on with their romance without holding back.
Now that would have been perfect and all the viewers would have been satisfied.
Here is my advice on what should be done....
1. Maan directly tells Geet that the engagement is real, so she no longer has doubts.
2. Geet tells Maan how she feels about him without hesitation and in clear terms.
3. A passionate sequence between Maaneet after they give their direct declarations of love.
4. Maan must make it clear that HE needs Geet in his life. That is what she wants to hear.
Cv's and Star One do you see what you editing did to today's epi? Star One was so determined to get the romance track started that they forgot that they were leaving behind all logic and angry viewers who are confused. Not once did you guys clarify in any epi that Geet thought the engagement was still fake. Well, Geet team had shot a scene with this idea but Star One used their obtuse minds to edit the scene out. Now look at how it's come back to haunt you. The very poor editing of the "Roop tere mastana" scene has many viewers confused as to what really happened during that scene. Do some investigation on IF and FB and you will see. This is what you get for trying to rush things for the sake of TRP's. The audience was very excited to see the sequence and you kept them on their toes all week. But then they ended up getting something far below expectations. Now tell me what will happen to your TRP when the viewers are fed up? Just so you know the audience also does not mind bold scenes. Please do not suppress your selves because of the pressure of social groups.
Cv's the execution with all the scenes today was bad (except the bench scene in the snow). Nissar I was expecting so much more from you on this. You all have given us some really romantic and passionate scenes, but "Roop tere mastana" did not have that same magic and touch. I'm not sure if it was because parts were edited out, but you still could have done more with the scenes. Like I said both the channel and you all need to do damage control for everything that went wrong since the trains station proposal. Please keep the logic along with the romance in the show. That is what us viewers want.
Overall an average episode.
Yesterday's episode was supposed to be a landmark episode. It was a landmark but not for the reasons we wanted it to be. It was marred by shoddy editing, incompetent execution, untied loose ends, glaring bloopers and most of all silly fights and inconsistent characterizations 👎🏼. On the bright side we got great performances from our leads 👍🏼 and maybe some movement in their relationship (I say maybe because the final act remains and hopefully will be aired on Monday).
The proper basis for marriage is mutual misunderstanding. – Oscar Wilde
If Wilde is to be believed then Maaneet will have a blissful union. 🤣 🤣 🤣
The episode opened with a another silly unnecessary fight between Maan and Geet 😕. I initially thought that only Geet was in the wrong, but after consulting with other devils and careful rumination, it is clear that the fact of the matter is that both were in the wrong. For some reason these two seem to bring out the best and the worst in each other. They fight like small kids. 😆 😆 😆
Geet's background of a fake marriage and unsupportive family is still very insecure especially since Maan has not made a formal proposal to her. Geet in many ways is still a child who was forced to grow up too early and this childishness comes out in the oddest ways – be it throwing water on his face from the fountain or picking silly fights when she feels he is being domineering. Maan was being possessive and not allowing Geet to be herself and this did not sit well with her. He is the one who tells her to be independent and runs to fix things at the slightest sign of trouble. That is great and very commendable on Maan's part, but Geet is feeling slighted and strikes out with words. At some level I feel Geet is unable to believe her own luck that Maan really loves her and is willing to accept her inspite of her blighted past. Her outbursts are directly related to this.😳
Maan has shown her in various ways and even said he wants to spend his life with her. But it has always been "I cannot live without you" or "You have become a habit of mine". He has never outright said "I need you to be in my life and want to spend the rest of my life taking care of you and the baby". Now before you jump at me I agree he has done a lot for her – but put yourself in Geet's shoes. She needs some solid commitment from him in the form of a promise to be there for her and the baby. He has never mentioned the baby and he needs to reassure her that he will treat the child as his. 😳
I think the bench scene was the highlight of the episode 👏 👏 👏. Maan was his arrogant self and did not take no for an answer. Theirs is a complicated relationship on so many fronts (and I am not even talking about the fact that she was previously fake-married and is pregnant). These two love each other and will willingly give their lives for each other. But there are many unresolved issues between them. They need to talk and figure things out – they need to bare their souls to each other before they take the next step in their relationship and that much needed conversation is coming soon I hope. 😳
The "Roop Tera Mastana" sequence was not bad by itself except that it was hyped so much that the expectations were gargantuan 😡. I do not even know why this was necessary when a conversation and a bone crushing hug could have accomplished much the same 🤔. To make matters more interesting there are all kinds of theories flying around – one section feels Maan was testing Geet while another feels Geet was testing Maan 🤣 🤣. I feel that the channel is testing our patience 😡. But it has left a lot of people feeling confused 😕 😕 😕. There are umpteen posts on whether Maan and Geet consummated, made out, did not make out etc 😆 😆 😆. Congrats you got the buzz you wanted. You got to have your cake and eat it too, but you know what they say too much cake can give you indigestion. Remember that. 😡
There were major bloopers like where did Maan's jeans come from? How did Maan's short sleeved shirt morph into a long sleeved shirt on Geet? Of the editing the less said the better. Message to star one "fire the editors, but only after firing the one who asked them to edit in the first place"😡 😡 😡 😡
Now both DD and GC were outstanding in yesterday's episode 👏 👏 👏. Dhrasti looked very beautiful and Gurmeet looked dashing. Both emoted beautifully which added to my sadness when I realized all the great scenes we missed out on because of one of your inept editors.😭
My fellow devils have convinced me that there is more to come on Monday and I am willing to wait. Do not screw up on Monday 😡 😡 😡. Maan and Geet may have their internal squabbles because they are very different personalities, raised in vastly different surroundings, with different ways of looking at the world which in turn is shaped by their unique personal experiences. But the fact remains that these two in spite of their differences are made for each other. They will change each other's lives for the better and we need to be able to believe that and see that on the screen. So we need them being more open with each other. Maan displays ownership of Geet but Geet has never done the same. We need scenes of her showing that she owns Maan and also some scenes where these two spontaneously display their affection for each other like an impromptu hug.
I will end with this anonymous quote "Soulmates are people who bring out the best in you. Soulmates are not perfect but are always perfect for you. "
Neither of Maan nor Geet is perfect - both have their flaws - that is the beauty of these characters and makes them all the more interesting and human. This is their journey of understanding each other and learning to accept the other with all their flaws and then learn to live together. We hope you will show us the journey in a fashion that we are not forced to play connect the dots or fill in the blanks. We want to be part of this journey and hope that you will be more consistent with the characterizations of the lead characters, the execution of certain scenes, keep chopping important scenes to a minimum and also not lose track of the original story line. Your storyline is bold but you are compromising it for the sake of TRPs and certain vested interests. Stop taking this short term view and think long term. If you do this than nothing can stop this series from going down in history as one of the best and memorable series ever made.
Good luck
