Hello everyone, hope this analysis finds you all healthy and alive! Because What I am about to state may not enhance your liveliness even to a smaller degree. Let me start with Shakespeare today,
"Often expectation fails, most often there where most it promises"
Yes, so true for both geet and us. Neither geet nor we got our desired answer from the show. Oh wait, no one was asking for an ILU, at least not me. All I wanted to see was a gentleman in a show which is really hard to find in the real world! Was that too much?
Well lets start. Geet finally told maan everything about her past. Why? Because she wanted to,
-relieve him from the pain he's going through
-inform him that its not him but her who she thought to be ineligible for him
-make him realize how much he means to her.
Guess what happened? None of the reasons why she told her past to him, got into maan's head! All he could think about was himself. It was always about him and always will be about him.
Now let me remind all of you a little about maan. A few analyses back I said that he's a cave dweller and yes he is. He is a problematic personality. Nobody's all good or all bad and maan is no exception. In fact he's not even mostly good. I'll tell you one thing,
someone is not bad is never = he's good
Being good is a positive thing, it's a process of growing, it's a continuation of true life. Being not bad is stationary; it doesn't indicate any progress or growth. It only indicates the periphery of the being. If being "not bad" would have indicated "good" then inactiveness, unemployment is also good, because there's no action taking place and there's nothing bad going on. But this is not the case, is it? So my point is, we here considering maan as a very good person is incorrect. His qualities in the show are as follows,
-he's rich
-intelligent
-good businessman
-good looking
-possess great personality as a boss
-caring, depending on his whims
So why am I saying all these all of a sudden? Because before I justify what as a** he is I have to tell you why he's such. Lets recall the very first time geet asked for his help in the HP fair when some scoundrels chased her. What did maan do? Nothing! Well he saved her from drowning later and then what? He just dropped her. Then geet requested for a lift and he acted really weird. Are these behaviors at all normal? No! Normal is when some girl is in trouble any decent man reaches out for help and if one is unable to help after a certain extent then he/she asks for forgiveness. Call it his ego or whatever the result remains the same. Maan not normal!
Yes, a lot many times later in the show maan helped geet but not because he's naturally such but because he cant even explain himself why that poor little girl's misery bothered him so much? Now we know, he fell in love with her! Normally maan is neither helpful nor sensible else he wouldn't have fired pinky yesterday! His dadi also said that although he had a soft heart but he usually don't care for other people's feelings. He also calls off a project deal for no good reasons after the client approved it. Remember how geet told him that he just gives someone a right at one moment and takes away the next? Yes that's him! He has a room full of miseries and he loves to cherish them a lot. All these indicate a disconnected soul. Maybe there are very good reasons for his being such but so far we're dealing with an unusual man here. The only great thing is, Mr. Gurmeet Choudhary portrayed the character of maan exceptionally good. His acting skills along with eyes expressions overwhelmed us so significantly that we actually forgot the real character of maan and that he is yet to grow in a lot of aspects in the show which hopefully would happen under geet's supervision in the distant future!
Currently, MSK's every action reflects that what makes him happy is good and what makes him sad is bad. Whatever he knows is right and whatever unknown is wrong. So when he found himself in love with geet he became all charmer and the negative responses got him all mad instead of getting him speculated. Every person wants to know "why" when they are rejected only he doesn't. He prefers to assume. So that justifies why he said today "I thought that you were only mine"! Oh well, he is the most important one in his life and in this world and no one can overcome the fact that "its all about me and my feelings". Everybody was so happy and praised his unconditional love for geet for deciding to help her out and not let her alone in such a state but guess what? All these time he was acting god! Today he admitted it himself. Well, the only difference we can observe is that only with geet, he repents his wrong moves although never stops making the wrong actions ever!
Today when geet told him such an unfortunate story that happened in her life all he could say was "I thought you were only mine". What kind of a freaking loser says that? Nothing justifies this dialogue. He's in pain, his love wasn't returned, he wanted to be number 1 and he's just a man are no good excuses. When somebody tells you he/she has been betrayed you usually forget everything else and say "what, how, when"? We usually forget ourselves initially when we see someone in misery. When we witness any road accident and people injured we worry and not say how are we gonna reach home in time? Of course that matters but we neither feel it nor say it, not then, not there!
Geet was on his knees today, told him the most sensitive story of her life, reminding him the promises that he made as a friend and all he could think about was himself! He could have told her that she was no way guilty and she and her baby are very much socially acceptable. No one asked him to accept her right away. When maan got to know the half truth he decided to be at least a human and after knowing the full truth, he turned into just a man. An ordinary selfish man. Nothing else matters whenever his heart is in concern! So what was the need of their officially being friends in HP when he is not to act like one?
Well, you may agrue that the story needed to proceed and a misunderstanding was necessary between them to take the story to a certain track. I agree. In that case maan should have just remained silent out of shock, recalling events that relates geet's words and geet could have misunderstood this silence as negligence. What was the need of such a pathetic sentence that indicates the selfishness of a soul? The whole nation was waiting for this day, looking at the hero's face for the moral support geet would receive which was supposed to change the position of all geets out there. But all the team could make mr hero say with a gloomy face was "I'm just another man, where is my share"! Dear geat team, it was badly done, very badly done indeed!
Now maan defenders, you may say he repents and now running after her. Well then tell me, why? He wants to say sorry for not hearing her out? That doesn't count anymore. He wants to offer her help? That too isn't necessary for geet to survive. He wants to talk to geet to get to know the name of the culprit? But that is not why geet told him everything to get maan to punish the culprit! Then why is he running after her? Your hero doesn't know himself! He has not thought out himself what he actually can or want to offer her? So his desperate running does not count either! He just felt like stopping geet because again the great "HE" was feelings guilty and he needs to get rid of that. But once he is forgiven then what? He would ask for her hand? Oh dear, you believe that happening any time in the near future? I don't! See the thing is, when you're in the exam hall taking a test, the test is all about how much you can correctly answer all the desired questions in a specific span of time. After the time is over recalling the right answers are meaningless; accept it, you've failed. Some people wait for a crisis to know what's important in their lives but mr. maan fail to act even in a crisis. Geet team, why did you choose this day and this event as the medium of maan's limitations as a man? You could have chosen any other event. Why this one? Why did you deteriorate this character when his improvement was needed the most?
Let me compare the actor again with another great story, pride and prejudice, since it's a widely read and known novel. When Elizabeth told mr darcy about the unfortunate event of her little sister, he grieved but he too left and she too misunderstood him but there was this dignity. Why cant we ever get to see a dignified man even in a show? I know its just one sentence that's bothering me but then again it's that one sentence that we were waiting for, for a pretty long time. I'd rather that he kept quite.
Doodle, I usually don't disagree with you but I really cant accept the fact that only in order to make a circle out of a lock and key sentence, nissar would ruin man's character. I cant accept that nissar does everything for a reason and all his actions has spiritual significances. What about the common viewer who doesn't write and read analyses here? What about the illiterate people, what about the real life geets watching the show wondering how their prince charming would react if they ever find any? Do you expect everyone to interpret deeply and find the meaning of green color, unbuttoned shirt and contradictory sentences? I know there are yet to see but like I said earlier, once you fail a test, it's a fail and you can always retake the test, make up, pass on but that definitely doesn't make you a gold medalist does it? Well if you say that maan is just another man then I agree, everything fits!
Geet returning and leaving was the only best thing she could do. Good decision, right action. After all she's been through, its was only love and acceptance that she was looking for not pity (oh she didn't even get that). But yes, her leaving with dignity was the right thing to do. You may say that geet misunderstood but I don't think so. Maan didn't understand the very reasons why geet told everything to him and that is all she needed to know, did he or did he not get her point? He did not and so she left. I really wish geet goes to ahmedabad and maan don't get to see her for three more weeks. I wish maan keep running till he proves himself to be worth the man for geet. Yesterday, maan was not even half the woman geet usually is. If anything tremendous had happened to maan that is as bad bas geet's situation I bet all he would do is get a family picture and put it in the misery room! What a disappointment!
Then comes adi and pinky, I really loved that both of them denied to answer msk in the beginning. At least he got the msg from both of them what friendship is all about. Some of you didn't like adi's attitude. But I think he's just being a man and a friend. He has been supportive of geet from day 1. He suggested maan to appoint geet as his secretary because he felt that although geet doesn't possess the desired educational qualifications and experience but the sincerity she possess was rare to find. So its natural that adi be geet's friend more than maan's accountant! Yes, a real friend can even risks his life for a friend. What is no unnatural about that? Well, both eventually ended up telling him where she went only because they believed that their happiness lies together and maybe they never saw their rude boss so desperate like this before. I just loved adi for being the man that maan couldn't be. Look how maan approached to both adi and pinky at first. With adi he was like, I'm your boss and with pinky he tried to bribe but when those two didn't yield he instantly begged. Its like "you're obligated to help me", plz! When you're man, act like one, even when you're in pain, don't stop being a man. A lion is always a lion, a tiger always a tiger, a cat always a cat. Only a man is sometimes a lion and sometimes a cat!
About precap, I don't want maan to see geet nor do I wanna see geet fainting. It shouldn't be so easy for maan. He screwed up and he gotta pay for it. He ruined the real moment and everybody's elated that we would have a make up moment on Monday! This is wrong. Maan should change and be a man before he gets to meet the real woman geet. He now knows how geet feels so he should work hard to grow his inner self. I know it's a show and this is how you pictured him and so this is how it should work.
The actors were excellent today only the writing was bad. A bad picture sketched by an artist will always remain bad no matter how beautifully you frame it. But if it helps the fame was good! Well these are the last good words from me.
Thank you all for bearing with me.
Loves and prayers………………..
