I agree he is wrong if he places mannat over dua. Till now we dont see that, do we. It is shown that he is more worried about losing dua, BECAUSE mannat is weak for vik. He knows that mannat still loves vik. He even told that to her, but mannat is the only way for him to have dua. I still think, a decent convo would have placated him. His arc is natural for slowly cutting off ties...and moving on! Instead of making Vik utter those dialogues of "wanting to become like DK", they could have shown him become like his brother and DK remaining the same would have been perfect redemption arc for vik. keep DK positive and elevate Vik. simple.

I am only comparing the nature of bond between pakhi-vinu and dk-dua. It is not superficial and usage based. It is as real as it can get. Why do people think he is uncle. For Dua he is not uncle, for Dk, Dua is not neice. Writers themselves didnt show any bond between vik and dua till recently. How can that exceed DK's bond with her? I am going by what is shown. Out of creative liberty, If there had been natural/biological/destiny based bond, we can understand. Even then it is complicated here becasue Dua fully bonded with DK, unlike Vinu. DK and Dua forged that bond . She was not shown as means to an end to begin with. IF that is not the case, then DK is negative pakka.

Whatever writers showed with dua-dk, i can connect to that emotion and breaking that will result in a mess like they showed.

DK is behaving like this under emotions. People give long rope to Vik, then why not DK? Vik has not done anything in actions. Writers are not giving him time to redeem. They are making him talk talk and talk. Thats the problem. But unfortunately before he can walk the talk, DK is turned villain. Usually poeple like him dont turn like this overnight.

Regarding his behavior with Mannat, sometims friends also lose their cool with you under pressure. It was like that. If he repeatedly does that then there is a problem. Mannat is showing signs of going back to vik since holi. So he is worried. The future BTS talk with both brothers, should cool him off ideally. But DK will turn into villain :(

Vik again keeps talking he will be like his brother. But before that DK will become so nasty, we all will feel that Vik is better off the way he is. That is the problem.

DK can be still shown as good. All his outburst can be ONLY temporary but unfortunately they will make him sick and negative. Too quickly that too, in few days.

P had already achieved her means of marrying VC. Even she didnt knew Vinu is the same Vinu she birthed. And when VP marriage happened, P was supposed to have reformed and Sai was dead. P cannot be compared to DK.

Mannat has said multiple times in front of everyone that DK remains the father. In upcoming BTS she still says it even after Vik has patched up with her.

She says that to Dua when Dua asked about 2 set of fathers... that DK still remains a dad. DK udhar hi baitha hai. Does he think Mannat is lying to Dua then?

Ronnie is openly supporting him.

Vik did file the case but apologized and handed over sole custody to Mannat. He too is content with being only Mr. Saluja. He went against Neetu as well. And he is not contesting the dad place in case its not clear from updates.

No one is asking DK to give up Dua entirely... its treating Mannat and her as his possession which is the problem. And not acknowledging Vik as father.

DK is not consulting Mannat on what she wants. He earlier told her to give a chance to Vik but leave Dua with him... so is it fair for biological mother to give up her rights as well???? One who he has supposedly seen rebuild herself after an intense trauma and for whom Dua is the reason to be alive???

What I meant to say is why cant DK share??? Vik is his brother afterall, he is not a random person... they can all live together... I dont defend Neetus actions... but her point is exactly what all of us make (across FD) ki DK tauji ban ke Dua ke life main kyun nahi reh sakta???? Will he love her less if he is Tauji??? Then he is not Shruti isnt it???

To put another question to you... now that ManVik will patch up and possible marry... you believe DK should move ahead in his life and marry a nice girl himself.

If he has his own progeny... wont it bring out a conflict then??? Between Dua and other child????

I think it will happen this time for next gen. . I am convinced it will happen but the problem is for how long. During this marriage, all vamps and the new villain will be exposed! Yuvi ka bhi fate pata chalega.

I am thinking they will redeem malla also? She might feel a bit of pull when Yuvi's truth is revealed? If she redeems, DK can marry her and raise Yuvi and Dua, staying in SM mansion. . How about that?

No no... i am thinking giving malla to DK if she redeems and all of them be together in SM and raise these kids.

Yuvi can remain Vik's. My main intention was to tie up malla and DK.

The story is not stagnant. It moves Thursday to Thursday depending on numbers.

Every channel has their writers who follow a pattern

Numbers move the story.

Vikrant is the lead, his daughter will be with him, irrespective of his kaands.

Dhairya is supporting character. He won’t have Dua when Mannat is with Vikrant.

Colors is not the channel your sensibilities will align. They unapologetically change character traits overnight.
